I got the protection w/a new dishwasher. The dishwasher broke after a few months. Called BB and was told that I had to call the manufacturer for warranty work. After a few more calls, got through to the company (Kitchenaid) and eventually they provided the repair. Now it is broken again. Called KitchenAid, they tried to sell me their own extended service plan. When I said that I just wanted to arrange for service, they put me on hold -- that was about 45 minutes ago. It has broken twice in a year, BB protection has just been to tell me to call KitchenAid. Not particularly helpful.
