They have special sales on certain items for members. The products you buy are covered with their protection plan for free. Excellent membership

I recently had a pair of ear buds fail and I was very happy I had the membership plan. Got replacement on the spot! I would recommend the membership plan because it covers all your purchases.

If you are on the fence, just do it. These protection plans really are worth it for numerous devices (especially laptops) despite what some of the online publications tell you (like Consume Reports).
