This movie is nothing more then a fun watch. If you have a good home theater setup then I recommend it.

This is a fun “B” movie but with a “A” effects. The story is fun. The actors take it seriously, which is awesome given how ridiculous the storyline and plot is. Characters have growth, but some of the plot is shoehorned in. All in all, the movie knows exactly what it is, what it wants to do, and does it. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. It’s a perfect late night or Saturday afternoon movie. Good old fashioned global calamity to be fixed with action and science, usually in that order with a little suspense and thriller thrown in for the kicks.

Great special effects, average story. Cool concept

Despite a number of reviews to the contrary, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and found it entertaining with excellent video and very good audio. Yes its a bit of a Sci-Fi popcorn flick but what else would you expect? Even the acting and the story kept me engaged. So hang your preconceptions up as you settle in and enjoy an entertaining ride for your eyes and ears.

God this movie is bad. Like super bad, on a scale of one to ten, I give it a negative two. The story is obvious, it doesn't challenge your expectations at all. And, the acting is very stiff and lackluster. Watch Independence Day instead.

It was okay then the end wasn't I what expected..!

This is disastrous Sci fi is a edition to your collection if your into movies like this. There’s no need for a good story or care of the characters because if your like me bring on mother’s nature to cause havoc. This film was fun and enjoyable especially in 4k for that immersive feel.

Would have given 5 stars if there was a shred of scientific accuracy. Shut your brain off. Engage your eyes and ears and you'll find enough special effects to satisfy your need for the big "booms" and "bangs". There will not be any intellectual discussion about the movie afterwards!

Man! What a fun film! It’s actually beautiful too in 4k! The situation in totally a wild ride! Don’t get too technical with everything-just sit back and have a good time. Great popcorn flick! Wish I had seen this at the theaters..I missed out on that but glad to experience at home at least. If you like world disaster movies of the 90s and 2000’s, this is a gem that rises just a bit above those. I recommend

If you can suspend logic and enjoy the movie for the popcorn end of the world disaster flick that it is, then you will be rewarded with a very fun movie experience that in 4K and Dolby Atmos will really make your home theater deliver at its peak performance.

You should buy this movie just for the impressive looks of the picture quality that Dolby Vision is able to offer to you. I wasn't sure what I was getting into up until I loaded my Panasonic 4K player B9000 with this fellow. I've already watched this movie more than any other just because how outstanding it looks on my OLED TV.

Another sleeper in my thoughts I was expecting a stupid movie and plot. I was pleasantly surprised. Some stupid moments and seemingly far fetched plot BUT it works. Kept my attention and actually enjoyed it

Good movie and I picked this up during the Black Friday Deals for a sweet price, my only gripe is that whoever packaged this item when sending it to me damaged the slipcover and obviously had zero care.

This movie is a great popcorn flick. If you like disaster movies like Armageddon or 2012, you will love this movie. The special effects are really good and I liked the storyline. Recommend for a good action movie night.

Another SciFi spectacular film from Roland Emmerich with special effects galore. Check your ‘brain at the door’ and enjoy the ride on this one because the science in this movie is a bit sketchy but still fun to watch.

Like most movies like this it is over the top on how close was that or how lucky can they be! But if that is your type of movie with lots of special effects then this is a good movie to watch.

Not a great movie, but a fun movie. Good special effects, OK sci-fi. Check your brain at the gates and enjoy the ride. One of the better movies to show off your system.

My family and I just finished watching this movies. We had a lot of fun with this one, it’s a nice popcorn flick, just turn off your brain and enjoy.

Interesting story about the moon. If you’re a science fiction fan this is a must. Great movie with amazing visual effects, will definitely give you surround sound a workout.
