While this battery case functions well and even feels nice on the phone, there is no way the size of the battery justifies the price. I don't often return things, but this product I did because the battery was smaller than what the Note 9 has internally and failed to fill it more than 30% or so.

I paid $109 plus tax for this charging case that claims to have up to 36 hours of batter life. That is definitely NOT true. This charger only gives me just short of a half of battery. This charging case cost way too much money to not deliver at least one full battery on a charge.

Great for some extra battery but dang that bulk

If you need extra battery, this is a great case for you. But if you hate added bulk or weight, avoid at all costs. It makes this beautiful thin phone feel and look like a brick. I also experienced some issues while trying to charge both at the same time. Once the phone was charged, sometimes it wouldn't continue charging the case. I had to press the button on the back. I ended up returning it because the added battery life didn't justify the added bulk for me, personally.

I always enjoyed using the Mophie Juice Pack. Functionality-wise, it gives you the extra power needed to ensure that you get through the day on an otherwise questionable phone battery. I've owned such a case for nearly every phone I've ever owned. My current phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, was supposed to be no exception when it comes to slapping such a case on. While the case does work well as intended; what no one seems to have mentioned, is that when you want to REMOVE the case from the phone, doing so is a total nightmare! I followed the instructions precisely, and the phone did NOT want to budge. It got to the point where I was pushing and pulling on the phone with all my strength, all while trying to keep that top half of the case pulled back away from the phone. I was pushing my thumb upwards from the bottom of the phone so hard that I inadvertently slid my tempered glass screen protector out of alignment, essentially ruining it! By that point, I was genuinely freaking out and only after my adrenaline spiked, was I finally able to get that case off. I was seriously afraid I had damaged the phone itself in the process. Miraculously, that didn't happen. Bottom line, stay away from this case at all costs unless you plan on leaving it on the phone 24/7 forever. Suffice it to say, I returned it. I wanted to like this unibody design, I really did. But now I'm wishing they had kept the two connectable upper and lower case halves they normally use in their Juice Pack cases. At least with those, you get good leverage for both insertion AND removal without fear of burning a couple hundred calories and shouting more expletives than a sailor trying to take it off!
