I was so excited to see this style charger/case return, but unfortunately, mine was defective. I’ve returned it and have a replacement being delivered today. I always used this type mophie for years with older iPhones. It feels great and gives me assurance that my battery will last all day without worrying about needing a charge.

It’s a nice accessory for the iPhone 16 Pro, but minor gripes with the item, can’t attach MagSafe charger to charge the device, must use usb c wired cable to charge the juice pack. It does attach to other MagSafe items like a MagSafe wallet plus can’t use usb c wired headphones

So this isn’t my first time using a battery back case for any of my iPhones, and this is only the serving time I’ve used a slim version. Which is what made me want this one, it’s really slim. But I can get more battery with ease now, and it doesn’t add much bulk to your phone.
The case is nice, but it is made of hard plastic. The coating on it gets greasy pretty easy, and attracts fingerprints quickly. But as I stated before, it’s very slim. It also is not very heavy at all.
The cutouts on the base line up perfectly, and the camera is protected as well.
Putting the case on is super easy, as well as taking it off. The charging time is not the fastest, but it charges fast enough. Leaving it on your phone while charging will give it second priority. So your phone will charge first, then the case. So I take it off and charge it.
When I’m using it, I let my phone get to about 50% before I turn it on. That way it doesn’t work too hard and burn through trying to get it back to 100%.
It has MagSafe too.

I own an iPhone 16 Pro. Despite every Apple innovation, the battery life is still not great, and I'm not a heavy user - mainly calls, work emails, and maybe some music on my commute to work. Normally I need to charge just after lunch, just to be able to get through the rest of the day and get home. Enter the mophie Juice Pack, an all-in-one case and 2800mAh battery pack for your iPhone 16 Pro.
What's good:
- relatively slim and light (still fits in my jean pocket)
- very good iPhone protection
- MagSafe wallet still works! yay!
- easy to install/attach/fit to your iPhone
- getting about 4 hours extra per day on the battery
- camera action button is easily accessible (best I have experienced in any iPhone 16 case)
- 2 year warranty
What's not so good
- hard to remove, if you want to switch for a standard slim case
I haven't used mophie since owning the iPhone 11 and back then, while I liked the mophie the case had this rubber stretch way of fitting that wasn't great. mophie have fixed this in the iPhone 16 Pro mophie Juice Pack, with the Juice Pack separating into 2 pieces - so you slide your iPhone 16 into the Juice Pack, then slide on the top which connects with a satisfying click.
The mophie Juice Pack case offers genuine protection for your iPhone 16 Pro and and it adds very little bulk - the small bulk at height and depth is the price you pay for extended battery life. The case has a nice soft touch feel - my iPhone 16 Pro was still easy to grip and hold in the mophie Juice Pack case.
There is a passthrough USB C charger, so you can charge your case and phone while the battery is attached but you do lose MagSafe support.
After using the mophie Juice Pack, I can say that the extra size and (relatively light) weight is more than a fair trade off for the battery life you get - I'm getting about 3-4 extra hours a day. And if you get battery anxiety about the case, there's a handy button an 4 LEDs on the back that you can use to check the battery status - btw, the mophie Juice Pack doesn't charge all-the-time, you turn it on pressing the battery - which helps you make sure you use the Juice Pack when you need it. I had no issues with it charging to 100% overnight (iPhone and the case).
Overall, love it, recommended and wish I had bought mophie always, if it was just a little bit easier to remove on the times when I want a slimmer case, it would be perfect 5.
