USB C charge, great mag mount no induction charge
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mophie juice pack arrived well packaged. It uses USB C to charge and connects to your phone via USB C. You are able charge the phone via the USB C port on Mophie. This was tested on an iPhone 16 pro max. Charge time for the Mophie is about few hours, I did not monitor the exact time. The mophie does not fast charge the phone. Tested with phone battery at 3% and in three hours of being plugged in to mophie, phone battery reached 54% battery at which point the mophie battery was completely drained. The case separates into two pieces, the top section pulls off to let you insert your phone into the larger bottom section then slides back together. DO NOT try to snap these parts together. The case fits the phone very well, but you must slide the phone in and align things very squarely, the case will not snap on. The mag safe feature of the case holds very well to mag safe mounts. With the case installed you cannot induction charge your phone nor is the mophie itself induction charging compatible. Phone buttons seemed ok. You have to press the power button to activate the battery and it was a bit delayed in activating. I deduct two stars for lack of MagSafe/induction charging, not a fast charger and poor button reaction for the battery.

Passthrough charging and 6’ drop protection
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What’s the iPhone battery life being what it is, I used to get a juice pack for every iPhone since the iPhone 4. The downside to the juice packs back, then was the cases would add significant bulk to the back due to the battery pack. With the much increased screen surface area, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the battery can be distributed over larger area, allowing for custom case overall. Impressively, the new cheese pack offers 6 feet of drop protection. The overall installation design are pretty in line and recognizable if you’ve ever used any prior versions of the Mophie Juice Pack. The top of the case slides off, and you insert your iPhone, which connects to a female USB at the bottom. Then reattach the top portion of the case to close it back. Very simple, but if you’ve never used a juice pack before it may not be so clear. There’s an included QR code to retrieve installation and user instructions. Once the phone is installed, using the battery pack is a breeze. The Pak remains off until your phone battery reaches below 10%. Once you hit that point, push the button on the back of the case and your battery pack will begin charging your phone. You can continue to use your phone as normal. You can charge your phone with the case installed thanks to passthrough charging. Your phone will be prioritized first, and then the case will charge so you don’t have to worry about a dead phone battery while charging.

Best thing next to an outlet for charging phone!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Morphie Juice Pack for iPhone 16 Pro Max Black is a game changer for iPhone users. If you are a social media butterfly, a constant picture taker, or even an all-day conversation, Morphie has done it again. I am an original Morphie owner, and seeing them still putting out quality products is exciting. The case is nicely designed to protect your phone and serve as a convenient charging solution. Its magnetic back allows it to attach to magnetic chargers. However, the lack of MagSafe charging was a disappointing drawback for me. The 3600mAh battery is great and makes it a game changer for those constantly on the move. The Morphie Juice Pack offers an impressive battery life, providing up to 44 hours of talk time, music playback, and 11 hours of video watching. The standby button on the back allows you to easily monitor the battery level. The case's raised edges provide added protection for your screen. The case comprises 50% post-consumer recycled plastics, a testament to its environmental consciousness. If you're looking for a great case that actually charges your phone, the Morphie is the one for you.

Works as advertised, but not quite what I expected
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had forgotten I even ordered this, so it was a bit of a surprise when it arrived. I already had a decent case for my 16 Pro Max, but wanted to test the extended battery. First, I have to say that the instructions are completely lacking. There was no document included with the case, so no idea what I was doing when I first tried to put my phone in it. I didn't realize the top slid off and allows you to slide the phone into the case. It was simple once I did that. But without any instruction sheet I had no idea how to "turn it on" or how it was supposed to work. There was a QR code on the packaging, but the first time I tried to scan it my phone camera did not detect it. So I went to their web site, expecting to find an online manual. Nope, no such luck. But the product description on the web page did explain how to turn it on (press and hold the button on the back for more than 3 seconds), so now I could at least work it. I then scanned the QR code again, and this time I was able to access the user guide. Why they don't link that guide on their web site is a mystery. The user guide is a pictogram, which has no explanations and one is expected to understand the images to use the product. I'm very tech-savvy, but it took me a while to figure it out. When I showed it to my wife, she had no idea what any of it meant. In general, you don't activate the case battery until your phone has gotten too low, and then the case battery will charge your phone back up until the case battery is depleted. It does not automatically determine the phone's battery state, which is what I was hoping would happen. The case has a good magnet to allow the case with phone to connect solidly to a phone stand. However, it will not Qi charge wirelessly from the attached stand. That alone is enough that I won't use this case long term, as I use my stand often to give my phone a quick boost when it's lower than I want for the remainder of the day.

Great Extra Battery Life Case
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new iPhone 16 Pro Max “juice pack” from Mophie has worked out great for me. I travel for work and most times, getting back to the hotel doesn’t happen until it’s late in the day. I use my phone for just about everything and even though the battery for the iPhone 16 is very good, there are times where a little extra power to get me through the day is very helpful. Installation is a snap. The top of the battery pack comes off allowing you to simply slide the phone into the main part of the case. Once secured, you put the top back onto the base which fits perfectly. After it is on, you can see and feel the raised edges which help to protect the screen and camera from incidental bumps and scratches. Mophie’s advertisement claims to protect it up to six feet if dropped which also aids in protecting the phone. In order to start the charging of your phone, you simply press and hold a button on the back of the pack. There are four indicator lights which indicate both when it is on as well as how much battery is left. Once all lights are out, it is fully depleted and needs a recharge. By that point, I’m able to get at least 50% more power to my phone which gives me several more hours of use. Mophie, a subsidiary of ZAGG, who makes cases, screen protectors, etc. for mobile devices as well, gives me a lot of confidence in the products they put out for sale for my devices. I can honestly say I have never had issues with their products or exchanges of screen protectors, etc. A battery pack with a two-year warranty tells me they stand behind their product.

Works great, extends battery life
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone cases are a dime a dozen these days, but decent ones with built in batteries are a much narrower breed. This rates among the best I've used. Packaging: To start it's pretty high end packaging for a case, well documented and well packaged. Use: It's pretty straightforward, pop the top off the case and slide the phone into it then replace the top. The case itself has a 3600mah battery built in which adds almost 75% more life to the phone. If you have a tendency to go through battery quickly this is likely the answer you're looking for. The case itself charges through the USB-C port on the bottom which also provides pass-through data and charging capability. It also has a function to send the power straight to the phone when charging rather than to the battery pack. Overall: It's a very well thought out extended case. Zagg owns the mophie brand so it's good quality as can be expected from the company. I would easily recommend it to anyone looking to extend their daily battery life for their phone.

Mophie iPhone 16 Pro Max
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I after missing my FedEx delivery man for a couple days (because I had to sign for it), I finally got my hands on my new Mophie Battery Pack case for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Now Mophie is brand that has been around for quite sometime and people have come to love and trust this brand. I haven’t used a Mophie case on my iPhone since the iPhone 6/Plus. So having prior knowledge and experience with the brand and the case before, I knew what I was getting. Inside the package comes the Mophie case and the user manual. There is not a USB-C cable included which is kinda a downer but not necessarily a dealbreaker. Setting up the Mophie case with your iPhone 16 Pro Max is pretty-straightforward and easy a pie to do. The case comes in 2 separate pieces. Simply slide your iPhone down into the bottom part of the case with the USB-C connector and then slide the top case on until it snaps into place. And removing the case is just as easy. On the left side of the case are buttons for the Action Button as well as the Volume +/- buttons. On the front of the case at the bottom are speaker and mic grills for audio. The right side features the Power Button and a cutout towards the bottom for the new Camera Control button. And on the back is obviously the camera cutout as well as the Power Button for the case itself along with 4 led lights that I’m assuming each one indicates 25% of how full the battery case is. Now as I stated before I have used a Mophie case before and I knew that it makes your phone significantly more bulkier than a regular standard case does. I personally don’t mind this as I’m one of the few people that don’t really care about how thin smartphones are nowadays. I love a good heft to my phones. So the bulkiness doesn’t bother me. For whatever reason in my time of using this new case, although it has worked as it should, it seems to take longer at charging the case itself as well as my iPhone 16 Pro Max than I remember how quickly it took back when I had the case for my iPhone 6/Plus. Still not necessarily a dealbreaker. However, the one thing that kinda bugs me is how once the case is fully charged and I use it to charge up my phone, it charges all the way to 100% which is what its supposed to do, however in my setting I have my iPhone 16 Pro Max battery set to 90% to help with the overall Battery Health on my iPhone. I wish that the Mophie could somehow sense what my setting it and automatically shut-off when it reaches 90% but it doesn’t. It also seemingly doesn’t automatically shutoff even when it does reaches 100%, which seems like it’s continuing to waste battery life that I had charged up on the case. Another great feature about the case is that the back of the battery case is MagSafe compatible, which is great because I use a MagSafe wallet for my ID and a couple of cards. My MagSafe connects easily and has a strong magnet connects which keeps my wallet in place without sliding all around and such. All in all aside from those quirks I do love the case and will use it especially when I know I’m going to be away from my charger for awhile, it does come in handy.
