Mophie 15 Watt Certified Charging Phone Stand
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mophie, a world renowned manufacturer of portable power for cell phones, was founded in 2005. Known for their Juice Packs for iPhones, Mophie partnered with Apple & Samsung, and was acquired by ZAGG in 2016. When Mophie releases a new product, heads turn, based on their long history of stellar innovation. Mophie just released a Qi2 charging stand. There are many charging stands available today, but most offer limited power transfer via the magnetic coupling that holds the phone. This Mophie Qi2 certified charging stand complies with the new Qi2 standard from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). This standard assures magnetic alignment that can transfer the faster 15W charging to the latest Apple & Android cell phones for fast, cool refueling. The Mophie base is made of heavy metal & is clad with white vinyl, so it will not tip, even when supporting the heaviest phone. The upright support is metal, and the round magnetic disc that holds the phone is white. The magnetic disc is extremely powerful; the phone will not fall off, even if it gets bumped. My favorite aspect is the adjustable angle of the phone, resulting from the tilting magnetic disc. Adjust the angle, & it stays put at the ideal placement for video chats! CONCLUSION: Mophie designed the perfect cell phone holder for your desk: Qi2 Certified, weighted base, & ideal height. Just plug your USB-C cable to the back of the base, & wrap any excess cord through the built-in cable management system. The new Mophie Qi2 charging stand earns my highest recommendation.

Poor packaging, no cable, but works great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a nice stand. Good, sturdy base. The white color pops. The magnet is strong and has no problem holding my late model smart phone. Charging is quick, and I don’t get any messages saying that my phone is slow charging. The angle of the magnet can be changed, so if you wanted to, you can mount your phone in landscape mode and change the angle to where it is comfortable to watch videos. For me, this mount sits on my nightstand and is used exclusively for charging overnight. it does that without a problem. I do have a couple of minor complaints. The packaging material was not very good, and when my mophie charging stand arrived, it had dark scuffs on it that are not coming out. I tried a magic eraser on them, it didn’t matter. You can see them in the pictures. And, in addition to that issues, the mophie didn’t come with a charging cable or wall wart. So, if you are looking to just pull this out of the box and use it without having or purchasing another cable/power supply, that isn’t going to happen. Other than that, the stand works well and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Decent Charging Stand That is Only the Stand
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Mophie Qi2 charging stand is literally a charging stand (one that is decent but requires a bit of effort to set-up). It doesn’t include a cable or charging brick. I think this is important to say that from the start because it is not obvious and will affect usage depending on what you already own. This is part of Mophie’s new line of Qi2 charges but it is the only one that doesn’t include a cable or brick despite stock photos and the box including photos of a cable. The box indeed lists that the box only contains a “wireless charging stand” in tiny font although confusingly that is also the name of the product. Even though I expected at minimum a usb-c to usb-c cable to be included, this ideally would be good for those who have usb-c cables and bricks that are trying to reduce overconsumption of technological accessories. The major issue I ran into that I think is important to highlight is that half the usb-c cables I own do not fit this stand. Some of the cable strain reliefs that are part of the ends are too long to fit this stand. A lot of the knit corded cables are unable to take advantage of the cable management design that is part of the bottom of the stand because the cable cannot make the sharp turn or is too thick to fit. The only usb-c cables that seem to be able to fit as designed are the thinner cheaper cables or the ones included with phones. Mophie doesn’t even seem to sell a cable that isn’t braided of that type that is separate from its chargers. Qi2: By buying a Qi2 charger, I think most people are hoping for faster charging and a bit of future proofing. This charges up to 15W so it is indeed faster than the former iterations of chargers but you will have to make sure to use a charging brick that is comparable. I found it worked well with my magsafe iPhone. However, it doesn’t have the 25W capability that the newest magsafe and Qi2 25W chargers have. I usually use a charging stand for long periods of charging and don’t require quick charging, so this does not bother me. Build: I find that the build of the stand is well made and heavy duty. I like that the base is heavy so it won’t tip over easily especially as phones get larger. There is only one component that moves so not too many moving parts are at risk of breaking. The adjustable charging head only tilts and doesn’t have any height adjustments. I like that the branding is non-intrusive and not too large. I was disappointed that the material used for the head is easily discolored. It came already discolored out of the box and will be easily scratched if you don’t have a case where the magnet ring is underneath your case material. The bottom of the base is a magnet for dust but I barely ever will look underneath so not a big deal. Usage: I found the stand to be comparable to other similar stands in terms of the usability. The magnet is strong enough to attach to the phone but not so strong that it is difficult to remove. The only complaint I had was that when tilting the adjustable head, I had to hold onto the phone against the stand or else the phone lifted up from the stand. Overall: This is a good basic phone stand that will wireless charge your phone and hold it at a comfortable position. Aesthetically, it is clean and non-intrusive. There is no fear that it will tip over or a part will snap off. There however is an issue that you will need to have a brick that has high enough capability and a cable that will fit the size of this stand. Once you have the stand set-up, I think that it is a decent stand and something will be used everyday without complaint other than the head pad potentially getting discolored. I just don’t know if a charging stand should require so much luck that your cable will fit.

Quick and sturdy basic wireless charging
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Highlights: * Faster Qi2 charging (with supported phones and power adapters) * Minimal and compact design * Tilting charging pad for various viewing angles * In-base cord management * Long 2-year warranty Considerations: * Packaging left the product dirty upon removal * No USB cable provided * No USB charging adapter provided * No visual indication that the stand is plugged in and powered * Minimal user guide Wireless charging stands provide convenience by skipping the plugging and unplugging of wires, but generally charge your phone slower than by a wire. The initial Qi charging standard provided up to 7.5W of power to supported phones which was enough for overnight charging but paled in comparison to a wire. For example, an iPhone 17 Pro can accept up to 40W of power by wire but only 25W by wireless. This wireless charging stand charges supported phones at speeds up to 15W using the newer Qi2 standard. While this is faster than the older standards, it’s not the full power that Qi2 can provide which tops out at 25W. Of course, all speeds are based on supported devices and when using a fast enough USB charger (not provided). Not everyone needs ultra-fast wireless charging, too. This charger is simple and basic - it has a single adjustable wireless charging pad and a spot to plug in the wired USB adapter (not provided). That’s it. No lights, no displays, no extra charging pad for a watch or earbuds - just charging of one wireless device at a time. The packaging does not indicate the minimum power needed from the optional USB charger to get the fastest speeds. The package also only mentions the lack of a provided USB cable in very tiny print on the back of the box. While you can use just about cable and charger with the stand, it would be better to indicate on the outside of the box the minimum needs for both. The eco-friendly packaging is nice and minimal, but left black residue on this white product which was a challenge to remove. Perhaps it would have been better for the stand to be wrapped in white paper or a recyclable plastic bag. Setup couldn’t be easier. Flip the stand over to find the recessed USB-C port for your cable of choice. There’s plenty of room for thick cables or those with thick over-molds. There’s a cable wrap-around cord management loop to keep things neater. Plug the other end of your USB-C cable into any supported USB charger. There is absolutely no mention of the minimum power for your USB charger to support the full 15W of this charging stand; nothing on the box, in the manual or at the manufacturer’s web site. I suspect that a 65W charger would be best, but that’s just a guess. The minimal design has no display or light to indicate that the stand is plugged in and working. You basically have to rely on the device being charged to see if this charging stand is plugged in and working. A small white LED on the stand would be nice - at least when it’s initially plugged in or a device is attached. The wireless charging pad swivels up and down to allow for viewing angles from just below vertical to around 45 degrees up. You can also freely rotate the phone from portrait to landscape and anything in-between to meet your needs. I find that portrait works great during the day to use my phone while it’s staying charged and landscape for Standby mode if used by my bed. Note that this stand is not designed for travel use. It is quite heavy (12.3oz or 348g) to remain stable when removing the phone so the magnetic attraction releases with one hand without having to also hold down the stand. The charging pad is rubbery so the attached phone doesn’t slip off or rotate on its own. Overall, this charging stand is minimal in design and functionality but works well. It’s not the fastest wireless charger available but does reliably charge faster than older (non-Qi2) models. If all you need is a sturdy and reliable wireless charging stand for a single device, this is a great choice!

Great iPhone only wireless charger.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Mophie Qi 2 charging stand is a standalone wireless charger. It's made with quality materials and feels sturdy enough that can last for a long time. The charger itself is the only thing included in the box with illustrated instructions. No charging cable or wall plug is included with this wireless charger. The charger must be used with a USBC cable that can be attached by a guide underneath the stand. The stand includes a magnet to which iPhones can be attached in order to charge. This charger is not compatible with Android phones. The stand is tilted in a way where any ordinary phone can't charge wirelessly with this stand. This stand is specifically designed for any iPhone with a magnet. The magnet is strong enough to hold the iPhone it does not feel flimsy or weak. The charger itself charges fairly quickly with up to 15w of charging power. Overall this is a great charger for any iPhone user in the market for a wireless charger. Please note this charger is only compatible for iPhones.

Basically a weighted magnet stand
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mophie charging stand is just a weighted MagSafe stand. It does not come with a charging cable, as shown in the photos on the product page and in the quick start guide inside the box. It does not come with a charging block either. It is not clearly stated on the box that there is no charging cable included. It is stated in a ridiculously small font on the back of the box (see photo) that a USB-C cable is not included. This item has a $44.99 MSRP which is a very poor value since there is no cable included. The design of this stand is also very average. It does not telescope to make it any higher/ taller. If you have a large phone it will almost be touching the base at the steepest angle. You can move the MagSafe circle a bit but it’s not a lot of movement, a bit like nodding your head. The underside of the base has a track cutout which you can fit your cable into and around, but there is only one cutout for the cable to exit towards the back. This means if you want your stand to be flush with the back of a counter, it doesn’t do that. You need room for the cord. There should be exit cutouts on the two sides also (see marked up photo) for better versatility. The packaging of this stand is also bad. The stand is secured inside the box with black cardboard, and the white stand is permanently smudged from the black cardboard (see photo). I used rubbing alcohol to try and remove the smudge but it didn’t remove most of it. Hopefully over time it comes off.

No charging cord???
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice charger. But it did not come with charging cord or plug. Charge your phone, keep it in view
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Morphie is a brand I am more familiar with when it comes to power banks, but I'm not surprised that they make Qi chargers like this one. This is much higher quality charging stand than those I've encountered before. My biggest issue with stands like this is that the tilt-hinge is never tight or solid enough to support the weight of the phone, and it ends up tilting down as far as it can. While only time will tell how long that will not be a problem with this stand, it feels very solid and less likely to have that problem any time soon. Here are some plusses on this stand: - Solid weight and build - it's not likely going to tip over from the weight of the phone. - Good design for cable management - Strong magnet holds the phone in place - Sleek and clean design, easy to clean Here are some of the minuses: - White design tends to show dirt easily, and either the manufacturing or the packaging itself means that the magnetic base was dirty upon removing from the package. - No cable or charger included - Can only charge one device, there is no charger in the base, only the magnetic contact I found the best use case for me was to use this charger at my desk while working, as my organization requires using an authenticator for signing into many of our applications, and I can set this phone on the stand and it can use face ID without me having to pick it up. I can also play music from my phone and access the controls easily without having to pick it up. The cable management not only provides a slot in the back of the stand to sit flush on the surface, but also provides space to wrap the cable in the base if it is particularly long. The base is covered with a smooth rubber-like material that provides plenty of resistance, so it does not slide around the surface it's sitting on. As mentioned, the magnetic bases where you place your phone, which is covered in the same material, is white, meaning it will show dirt a lot easier. What was surprising is that it actually had some scuff marks on it when I received it. Most of them I wiped away with a damp cloth, but one of them would not go away and I didn't want to use a chemical cleaner on it. It's faint, but it's there. The packaging is black (black product box, black containing box). Perhaps putting the stand in a plastic bag would have helped if the packaging is the reason for this. Probably the most surprising feature, or lack thereof, for me is the lack of a charging cable. I don't generally expect a power brick (the part you plug into the wall), but I was surprised there was no USB-C cable included. I have an iPhone 14, which still uses Apple's old design of cable, so if this is you and you don't have extra USB-C cables available, be prepared to purchase one to use with this stand. Overall, this is a nice stand with a sleek look that fits most decor, and it's quite practical compared to a flat charger that you have to lay the phone down onto. With the exception of the lack of cable included in the box and dirty surface of the charging magnet (which might bother some people), I would recommend this charger as a great way to keep your phone visible while charging. Apple's Magsafe and other similar designs on Android devices means that you can orient the phone vertically or horizontally on the stand and be able to use it easily while charging it. Definitely a recommended device!

Attractive option for bedside charging
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Historically, I've been pretty unimpressed by wireless charging. While the tech is very convenient in theory, in practice I've found it a bit too fiddly. The need to make sure the charging coils are properly aligned makes it all too easy to think you're charging your phone up for a few hours, only to grab it and discover that it's barely picked up any charge at all. The addition of strong magnets to effectively force the phone into the proper position has been a major game changer though, and I decided to head into the review with an open mind to see if the tech can wow me now that it's a bit less likely to slip out of position. And I have to say - I like what I see. Inside the box you'll find the stand, some documentation, and nothing else. So you should probably plan to get a high wattage phone charger if you don't already have one. The stand itself is pleasantly sturdy, which is good since my own phone is a pretty heavy foldable with an equally heavy case (the magnets being an aftermarket addition.) Even with that, the stand was able to hold its balance and worked surprisingly well as a replacement for a bedside alarm clock. Charging speeds are quite good too. Still can't quite match what you get with a cable, but it's definitely close enough. Only complaint is that it did get a little wobbly when I unfolded my phone, but to be fair that's really on me for buying such an unusual form factor. There are a few downsides, though. To start: the magnets do not let go particularly easily, so it's not quite as simple as just grabbing the phone off the charging pad. Second, I've noticed that the rubber pad on the contact surface seems to be quite good at picking up scuff marks. Sometime during the first day, in fact, a large black smudge appeared in the upper left hand side, and so far I haven't been able to figure out anything that can clean it. If I had to guess the source, I'd say it's probably my black phone case, so do with that what you will. Normally I wouldn't mind much... but as mentioned, I was using this on my bedside and the looks do matter to me a bit. It's still an easy recommendation for me, but I think I might recommend a slightly darker color if it's an option.

Good weight and angle adjustments
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I will highlight the best aspects of this charging stand. The height is perfect no matter the size of your phone, XL or other dimentions. You can also adjust the angle of the phone, so you can use as a webcam, video call, whatever the need. The thing that annoys me, when buying a charger I expect a cable at a minimum. A block would be nice, but even just a charging cable would make sense. This is only the stand. No cables, no nothing. At least the other stand I have by the manufacturer of my phone has a cable, no power brick, but a cable. As far as the satnd goes, this exceeds the phone makers design because you can adjust the angle of the phone. However the charging magnet is not detatchable like the phone makers version. Pretty much they both have there pluses and minuses. Since I require a USB type C cable and charger with the mophie. I am using my phone charger, that I had to purchase seperately from my phone, with the Mophie stand. It seems rediculous to me that chargers are not included with these devices. With everything migrating to USB Type C, cables are needed. It feels like cutting costs with a required piece of equipment is a poor choice by manufacturers. Overall, this stand is outSTANDing. I do highly recommend, just know you need a USB C cable and charger for use with it.

Great for Pixelsnap!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Mophie Qi2 charging stand works very well with my Pixel 10 Pro. Even though it seems to be mainly marketed towards those with iPhones, rest assured that this will work for you Pixel-heads. The Mophie charging stand has a simple, elegant design that makes it look good on your desktop or nightstand. It's circular magnet immediately grab onto your phone and correctly center it for proper charging. This was a welcomed feature, since my older Qi charging stand would take forever and would leave my phone awfully warm in the morning. Something to take note of is that this is only the stand. No cable. No wall charger. You'll need to supply your own (hence, the dinging of one star). The specs on the Mophie say that it will deliver up to 15w of charging power. I did have a spare wall charger that said 20w, as well as a USB-C to C cable, so I was good to go. I can only assume that the Mophie put out the stated 15w. I also noticed that my phone said it would be fully charged in 3 hours. With the old one - 5 to 6 hours...and my phone wasn't hot when I removed it in the morning!

Stylish, Stable, and Well-built
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been testing the Mophie Qi2 Wireless Charging Stand for the last week. Overall, it's a good stand with some minor drawbacks. I like that the stand is stylish, well-built, and remains stable when holding a phone. Underneath, there is a cable management loop designed to protect the USB-C cable and keep it tucked away, which helps me maintain a clean look on my nightstand. The stand is certified to provide up to 15 watts of power. In my testing, that translated to roughly 10 percent charge per hour for both my iPhone and Pixel 10. Its not as fast as wired but I think that's an acceptable speed for overnight charging. However, the stand does have some minor drawbacks. The magnetic connection is a bit weak for my liking, especially when using a phone case. While it holds the weight, I would prefer a stronger grip. Additionally, the cable management loop only accommodates thinner cables, and unfortunately, no cable is included in the box. With that said, I would recommend this stand despite its shortcomings.

Kinda Basic for the price.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This stand is basically about convenience. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but it makes charging your phone feel a lot smoother. What I Like * Drop and go: You don’t have to fiddle with cords. Just set your phone on the stand and it locks in place with a strong magnetic hold. * Fast enough: It charges quickly without heating up too much, so you’re not waiting around. * Keeps the phone upright: I like that it props the phone up instead of laying it flat. Makes it easy to glance at notifications or watch a video while it’s charging. * Clean look: Simple design that doesn’t clutter up a desk or nightstand. What Could Be Better * Pricey for what it is: You’re paying for the brand name here. There are cheaper stands that do the same job. * No extra features: It’s just a charger. No USB ports, no adjustable angles—what you see is what you get. * Best with newer phones: Works great with MagSafe‑style devices, but older phones without magnetic alignment don’t sit as nicely. Bottom Line * The Mophie Qi2 stand is all about ease and reliability. If you want a charger that looks good, holds your phone steady, and just works, this one delivers. But if you’re hunting for extras or trying to save a few bucks, you can find simpler stands that get the job done for less.

Simple Design, Charges Fast
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For nearly a year now I’ve been using a different (well-known) brand’s charging stand. I always place my mobile phone on that charging stand at night, so in the morning I can wake up to a fully charged cell phone. More and more, there are mornings where the phone won’t have charged at all, which is beyond frustrating. And yes, I do take the time, every time, to make sure that my phone is placed upon the stand correctly, that the connection is secure, and to listen for that “is charging” sound. And so, when I had the chance to get this Mophie Qi2 charging stand, I was really interested to see if it would solve my phone’s charging problem. The simple answer is, yes. This Mophie gets my phone charged back up, super fast! And its simple design is rather stylish, too. While my other charging stand is designed to also charge my watch and earbuds, as well as my phone, I didn’t mind that this Mophie Qi2 model didn’t have that capability since my other charging stand has those features, and they work fine. The only “con” I could mention is that this Mophie doesn’t come with its own power cord. This is a basic feature, and should have been included even though most people likely have a spare USB-C cord available to them from some other device.

Quality Stand with Strong Magnet for Charging
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owned by Zagg, mophie has developed into a great company that makes quality products. This stand charges at 15W and works very well. Per their advertisement, any device that is MagSafe and Qi2 compatible will work with this stand and charge. I have an iPhone and it works very well. I use a clear MagSafe compatible case and the phone stays on very securely. Without the case attached, it’s even more secure on the stand. It starts charging immediately and I didn’t have any indication that it had stopped at all until it was full. While on the stand, you can easily turn it for either portrait or landscape allowing for different views while idle. The head is adjustable so you have different angles and can easily be used for video calls due to its height off of the desk. Setting it up is easy as you’d expect. There is cable management built into the bottom with a USB-C port. I was a bit disappointed that there isn’t a cable included but, it has become very common with most accessory products these days. Although it isn't expressly called out, I am also able to put my AirPods onto the charger as well and the case stays attached perfectly. This charging stand is well worth it and with a two-year warranty being included, it’s even more appealing.

Looks good, weight and magnet are perfect.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, the mophie - Qi2 Charging stand is doing exactly what I need it to do. I recently started a new job that required me to return to office. Gross…but that’s another review. Anyway, I had been working for about a month with an ol’ brick and cable to keep my phone charged throughout the day. I decided to pick up a magnetic charging stand for my desk so I would fit in with the aesthetic of my new workspace and not have to keep plugging/unplugging all day. This is a very simple unit that does one thing…charges your phone. That said, it does the job well. It has a nice look and feel. When my phone is on the stand, I can pivot the screen up or down a few degrees…enough to manage glare from other light sources in the office. It also keeps my phone at the correct angle within my peripheral vision to be able to keep it on silent without missing important texts or calls. The weight of the unit and the strength of the magnet seem just about perfect. When you put the phone on the stand, it has a secure snap to it, but when you can still remove it easily with one hand. The only thing I found disappointing was the lack of a brick and cable in the box. The only thing in the box is the stand itself. Otherwise, it’s been great.

Excellent Charger!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. And once again I have found that it's impossible to go wrong with a device from Mophie. This is my first Qi 2 charging device and I have found it works perfectly with my iPhone. I like that the base is properly heave enough to prevent my first initial concern I first had with this charger. The properly weighed base keeps the phone from tipping over when using it. The Mag Safe built into the iPhone has a rather satisfying click then you place it on the charger. The charging head properly adjusts up or down to obtain the correct viewing angle for your preference. I also discovered one of the benefits of using a Qi 2 charger with a more modern iPhone is that if you place it in landscape mode on the charger it switches to a sort of "clock" mode. Call me a geek but I probably like that feature the most. As much as I'm enjoying this Qi2 charger it's not all rainbows and butterflies here. My biggest complaint, and really only one, is that it does not come with a power cable to connect it. Thankfully I am not USB-C poor so this was an easy fix for me. Other than one minor quible this is about as close to perfect a wireless charger gets.

No charging cable or plug
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mophie Qi2 charging stand works as it should. The magnet is strong enough to hold your device up. The size is perfect not too big and not too small. It does feel like a very well built stand, it has nice weight to it. The bottom portion of the stand helps conceal the wires, but make sure the wire is not too thick. The biggest and only issue i found with this charging stand is the fact that it does not come with its plug or wire to charge. You have to use your own and if your charging cable and plug are not high speed then the charger is not high speed. That has to be the biggest disappointment for anyone getting this charger. It would only make sense for a charging stand to come with its own cable and plug that would provide the most efficient and powerful charging option. If you are able to live without that this may be a good option for you, although i would not recommend any of my friends or family to get this device just for the fact that it does not come with the charging cable and plug. But overall, the device works as it should and supports fast charging as indicated.
