Highlights: * Faster Qi2 charging (with supported phones and power adapters) * Minimal and compact design * Tilting charging pad for various viewing angles * In-base cord management * Long 2-year warranty Considerations: * Packaging left the product dirty upon removal * No USB cable provided * No USB charging adapter provided * No visual indication that the stand is plugged in and powered * Minimal user guide Wireless charging stands provide convenience by skipping the plugging and unplugging of wires, but generally charge your phone slower than by a wire. The initial Qi charging standard provided up to 7.5W of power to supported phones which was enough for overnight charging but paled in comparison to a wire. For example, an iPhone 17 Pro can accept up to 40W of power by wire but only 25W by wireless. This wireless charging stand charges supported phones at speeds up to 15W using the newer Qi2 standard. While this is faster than the older standards, it’s not the full power that Qi2 can provide which tops out at 25W. Of course, all speeds are based on supported devices and when using a fast enough USB charger (not provided). Not everyone needs ultra-fast wireless charging, too. This charger is simple and basic - it has a single adjustable wireless charging pad and a spot to plug in the wired USB adapter (not provided). That’s it. No lights, no displays, no extra charging pad for a watch or earbuds - just charging of one wireless device at a time. The packaging does not indicate the minimum power needed from the optional USB charger to get the fastest speeds. The package also only mentions the lack of a provided USB cable in very tiny print on the back of the box. While you can use just about cable and charger with the stand, it would be better to indicate on the outside of the box the minimum needs for both. The eco-friendly packaging is nice and minimal, but left black residue on this white product which was a challenge to remove. Perhaps it would have been better for the stand to be wrapped in white paper or a recyclable plastic bag. Setup couldn’t be easier. Flip the stand over to find the recessed USB-C port for your cable of choice. There’s plenty of room for thick cables or those with thick over-molds. There’s a cable wrap-around cord management loop to keep things neater. Plug the other end of your USB-C cable into any supported USB charger. There is absolutely no mention of the minimum power for your USB charger to support the full 15W of this charging stand; nothing on the box, in the manual or at the manufacturer’s web site. I suspect that a 65W charger would be best, but that’s just a guess. The minimal design has no display or light to indicate that the stand is plugged in and working. You basically have to rely on the device being charged to see if this charging stand is plugged in and working. A small white LED on the stand would be nice - at least when it’s initially plugged in or a device is attached. The wireless charging pad swivels up and down to allow for viewing angles from just below vertical to around 45 degrees up. You can also freely rotate the phone from portrait to landscape and anything in-between to meet your needs. I find that portrait works great during the day to use my phone while it’s staying charged and landscape for Standby mode if used by my bed. Note that this stand is not designed for travel use. It is quite heavy (12.3oz or 348g) to remain stable when removing the phone so the magnetic attraction releases with one hand without having to also hold down the stand. The charging pad is rubbery so the attached phone doesn’t slip off or rotate on its own. Overall, this charging stand is minimal in design and functionality but works well. It’s not the fastest wireless charger available but does reliably charge faster than older (non-Qi2) models. If all you need is a sturdy and reliable wireless charging stand for a single device, this is a great choice!

--- SETUP --- The morphine charging stand is a magnetic stand that is easy to set up. It is just one single piece and requires you to already have your own USB-C cable to plug into. I used an extra long USB-C cable which helped with wrapping it under the unit’s cable organizer. --- PERFORMANCE AND EXPECTATIONS --- The mophie Qi charging stand works as expected and does a good job at it. I am using this charger with an iPhone. The iPhone has a magnetic circle area on the back which allows you to charge it with this magnetic stand. I was able to charge my iPhone without removing the case, which is always a plus for these types of chargers. The magnet is strong and it hasn’t fallen off during use, even if I hit it accidentally with my pillow, arms, or other bedroom objects. As far as charging goes, it does a good job at charging the phone overnight, always to full capacity, and I’ve never once had an issue with it. As an added bonus, if you charge your phone sideways, you might discover that your iPhone will turn into a red clock and show you pictures in a non-invasive sleep-mode manner that I really like. I have used several magnetic chargers which also charge your airpods. This one can charge your airpods magnetically in lieu of the iPhone, but you cannot charge both at the same time. Mild inconvenience, but a lack of a feature worth mentioning. Below the base, there is a small cable management system so that the cable can come out the back and have a neater look. I personally don’t use the management system because I like to use this charger as a stand around the house or at my office. I will unplug and carry it with me to the kitchen so that I can watch/listen to shows and music while watching dishes. Because the mount head swivels, it is easy to adjust multiple viewing angles that serve my various needs as I move about the house. Sometimes, my girlfriend will be watching something on the big screen and I will be next to her watching my show on my phone while the phone is mounted on this stand. It’s really a useful little gadget for that. A caveat to note is that this stand does not come with its own USB-C charger block, nor the cable. This means that if you don’t have one already, you will need to buy one. --- APPROVAL --- This charger is a great space saver and a good phone mount to watch your entertainment on. Plugged in, it charges your phone with moderate charging speed and turns your phone into a visual clock if mounted sideways. It is a good stand + charger that I would recommend to someone with confidence.

Magnetic, wireless charging may be one of the best phone related advancements in the past ten years. I'm a big fan. Everybody should have a charging stand of some kind, especially if you've got a phone with an always on display. It makes for a great bedside alarm clock, especially if you set up the Standby mode of an iPhone with widgets. Fortunately, these charging stands are pretty easy to find in many varieties and at many price points now, so they're an easy accessory to pick up and scatter around your house. So how's this one? It's good. The overall construction is solid and sturdy. There's no fear of this thing being tipped over accidentally when just casually picking up or putting down your phone. It looks quite nice overall, in my opinion. Sleek and modern with a fairly small footprint. There are channels on the underside for cable management if you need/want it. The rubber where the phone attaches to the stand is soft and should not damage the phone at all. Charging speeds are good, though it's important to point out that so much of this is determined by what charging brick you use - and this (like most) does not come with a brick or USB-C cable at all. Definitely recommend getting a good brick with a higher voltage, as it can make a big difference. Going from 45% to 100% in thirty-five minutes is pretty nice and way better than what it used to be when wireless first showed up. There may be faster options out there, but I think if speed is what you want then I would assume you're probably better off just plugging into your USB-C port on the phone directly. This is a charger meant to be part of your furniture, which means your phone becomes part of the furniture. It's probably not the place to dump your phone for a quick top off and then pick it up again. There are some things though that kind of make me ever so slightly underwhelmed. For starters, the very white rubber pad arrived with a black smudge on it that does not easily come off. I could be wrong, but I suspect maybe this actually happened as a result of rubbing against the black cardboard packaging. Lastly, I wish there was a little more range in the extent the head tilts on the stem. Not a huge deal; you'll likely find an angle that works perfectly well. It just would be nice to have slightly more flexibility. All in all, this is a solid option for a very recommended bit of nightstand convenience.

Desk Jewelry That Actually Does Something More

I’ve been using this Mophie wireless charging stand on my desk, and I think I like having it there. The first thing that grabbed me was the build quality. The base is nicely weighted, the arm is solid but it also has an adjustable tilt that my other stands do not have, and the charging pad has a soft, premium finish that won't scuff my cases, but the best part is that the softness grips even slick cases so that they don't unintentionally rotate. It doesn’t feel like a cheap plastic accessory at all—more like a little piece of desk décor that just happens to charge my phone. Charging performance has been okay. I have a pixel 10 pro fold and I was unable to get more than 11w from the charger, even with the case turned off (I use Ampere to test wattage). It’s still good for topping off my phone while I’m working, but for me, it's just about good enough to stay at the same battery life when I'm working it hard and a slow charge when it's idle or asleep. The footprint is small enough that it doesn’t dominate a space, and the clean design fits in with everything else on my desk, although I really don't like the gold (?) part of the coloring. Overall, this stand looks great, feels high‑end, and charges. I really can't say anything bad about it, and that's the thing... it's so easy to use and engineering something that seems so easy is hard. Honestly, this stand gets the weight and stiffness correct. They must know exactly how much force to use in order to disconnect the phone from the charger without having the whole darn thing come up with your phone or require two hands to grab your phone. The hinge stays stiff enough for me to tilt my phone off the stand, yet the stand isn't super heavy, huge, or inflexible. I can't state enough how simple this is for the user due to what was probably much complication for the person engineering this. Getting that “effortless” feel means someone thought very very hard about the mechanics and were successful at executing the manufacture of it. For something I use all the time without thinking about it, that’s exactly what I want. It is so brainless to use. RECOMMENDED!

Mophie 15 Watt Certified Charging Phone Stand

Mophie, a world renowned manufacturer of portable power for cell phones, was founded in 2005. Known for their Juice Packs for iPhones, Mophie partnered with Apple & Samsung, and was acquired by ZAGG in 2016. When Mophie releases a new product, heads turn, based on their long history of stellar innovation. Mophie just released a Qi2 charging stand. There are many charging stands available today, but most offer limited power transfer via the magnetic coupling that holds the phone. This Mophie Qi2 certified charging stand complies with the new Qi2 standard from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). This standard assures magnetic alignment that can transfer the faster 15W charging to the latest Apple & Android cell phones for fast, cool refueling. The Mophie base is made of heavy metal & is clad with white vinyl, so it will not tip, even when supporting the heaviest phone. The upright support is metal, and the round magnetic disc that holds the phone is white. The magnetic disc is extremely powerful; the phone will not fall off, even if it gets bumped. My favorite aspect is the adjustable angle of the phone, resulting from the tilting magnetic disc. Adjust the angle, & it stays put at the ideal placement for video chats! CONCLUSION: Mophie designed the perfect cell phone holder for your desk: Qi2 Certified, weighted base, & ideal height. Just plug your USB-C cable to the back of the base, & wrap any excess cord through the built-in cable management system. The new Mophie Qi2 charging stand earns my highest recommendation.

The Mophie Qi2 Charging stand (USB-C) is an elegant charging station for any Mag enabled phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy I charge on it and it does the job well. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is you need your own cable and charging block. I was Build Quality: The stand is built very well. It is sturdy and feels solid and heavy. It won't topple over easily. It does have an elegant feel to it. The adjustable charging pad allows for different angles and it stays put at whatever angle you place it. Cable Management: The underside of the stand has a cable loop track so you can secure your cable, preventing any accidental disconnections. Magnetism: I have a mag case, and it sticks very well to the stand. Depending what angle you pull your phone off at, you may have to use one hand to support the base as you pull the phone off because the magnet is strong. Overall, a good fast wireless charger you can use for iPhones or Android phones. Just have your own charging cable and block!

Poor packaging, no cable, but works great

It’s a nice stand. Good, sturdy base. The white color pops. The magnet is strong and has no problem holding my late model smart phone. Charging is quick, and I don’t get any messages saying that my phone is slow charging. The angle of the magnet can be changed, so if you wanted to, you can mount your phone in landscape mode and change the angle to where it is comfortable to watch videos. For me, this mount sits on my nightstand and is used exclusively for charging overnight. it does that without a problem. I do have a couple of minor complaints. The packaging material was not very good, and when my mophie charging stand arrived, it had dark scuffs on it that are not coming out. I tried a magic eraser on them, it didn’t matter. You can see them in the pictures. And, in addition to that issues, the mophie didn’t come with a charging cable or wall wart. So, if you are looking to just pull this out of the box and use it without having or purchasing another cable/power supply, that isn’t going to happen. Other than that, the stand works well and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Decent Charging Stand That is Only the Stand

This Mophie Qi2 charging stand is literally a charging stand (one that is decent but requires a bit of effort to set-up). It doesn’t include a cable or charging brick. I think this is important to say that from the start because it is not obvious and will affect usage depending on what you already own. This is part of Mophie’s new line of Qi2 charges but it is the only one that doesn’t include a cable or brick despite stock photos and the box including photos of a cable. The box indeed lists that the box only contains a “wireless charging stand” in tiny font although confusingly that is also the name of the product. Even though I expected at minimum a usb-c to usb-c cable to be included, this ideally would be good for those who have usb-c cables and bricks that are trying to reduce overconsumption of technological accessories. The major issue I ran into that I think is important to highlight is that half the usb-c cables I own do not fit this stand. Some of the cable strain reliefs that are part of the ends are too long to fit this stand. A lot of the knit corded cables are unable to take advantage of the cable management design that is part of the bottom of the stand because the cable cannot make the sharp turn or is too thick to fit. The only usb-c cables that seem to be able to fit as designed are the thinner cheaper cables or the ones included with phones. Mophie doesn’t even seem to sell a cable that isn’t braided of that type that is separate from its chargers. Qi2: By buying a Qi2 charger, I think most people are hoping for faster charging and a bit of future proofing. This charges up to 15W so it is indeed faster than the former iterations of chargers but you will have to make sure to use a charging brick that is comparable. I found it worked well with my magsafe iPhone. However, it doesn’t have the 25W capability that the newest magsafe and Qi2 25W chargers have. I usually use a charging stand for long periods of charging and don’t require quick charging, so this does not bother me. Build: I find that the build of the stand is well made and heavy duty. I like that the base is heavy so it won’t tip over easily especially as phones get larger. There is only one component that moves so not too many moving parts are at risk of breaking. The adjustable charging head only tilts and doesn’t have any height adjustments. I like that the branding is non-intrusive and not too large. I was disappointed that the material used for the head is easily discolored. It came already discolored out of the box and will be easily scratched if you don’t have a case where the magnet ring is underneath your case material. The bottom of the base is a magnet for dust but I barely ever will look underneath so not a big deal. Usage: I found the stand to be comparable to other similar stands in terms of the usability. The magnet is strong enough to attach to the phone but not so strong that it is difficult to remove. The only complaint I had was that when tilting the adjustable head, I had to hold onto the phone against the stand or else the phone lifted up from the stand. Overall: This is a good basic phone stand that will wireless charge your phone and hold it at a comfortable position. Aesthetically, it is clean and non-intrusive. There is no fear that it will tip over or a part will snap off. There however is an issue that you will need to have a brick that has high enough capability and a cable that will fit the size of this stand. Once you have the stand set-up, I think that it is a decent stand and something will be used everyday without complaint other than the head pad potentially getting discolored. I just don’t know if a charging stand should require so much luck that your cable will fit.

Attractive design and well-built charging stand

I’ve had the mophie Qi2 Charging stand for just short of a week now and I really enjoy having it next to our kitchen PC, which also happens to be white. I was a little concerned when I first opened the packaging after noticing some black smudges from the interior cardboard packing had rubbed off on the charging head. I was able to remove it using a microfiber cloth, but it was a stubborn stain and I was concerned it might not clean up. Mophie should consider adding a protective plastic wrap over the magnet portion to prevent the marks. After reading other reviews, it appears that I’m not the only one noticing this issue. Seems like a simple fix. Otherwise, I find the stand itself very attractive and solidly built. The base has a matte stone appearance and is heavy enough to prevent accidental tipping. It makes a handy stand for viewing the phone vs. setting it flat on a table or countertop, and the viewing angle can be adjusted by tilting up or down. I was a little surprised that the stand does not include a USB-C cable although a cable is shown in the product photos. A USB-C cable connects discreetly under the base and fortunately I had spare white cable from my iPhone that I could use to connect it to my Insignia PD power wall outlet. I suppose the reason why mophie doesn’t include a cable might be that users might have different USB-type connectors at the opposite end of the cable, but then again, adapters could be included. Beyond that, I really like the charging stand and it’s great to have in our kitchen where it gets used often by family and even guests who drop in and need their iPhone battery topped off. Overall and despite a few minor issues, I feel it still deserves a five star rating mainly for its clean and well-built design, but be aware that you’ll need a cable and it might come with some packaging marks that could require an exchange if you happen to get a smudged stand that won’t clean.

This mophie Qi2 charging stand is a sturdy piece of equipment. It has a solid, high-quality build feel and a streamlined look, so you can place it anywhere you might need an additional charger for your iPhone. The charger provides 15W of power maximum, so it is comparable to the Apple OEM chargers and charges a phone fairly quickly. If speed of charging is a concern, you may want to invest in the newer Qi2.2 model for phones that support 25W, but this model is fine for my wife's iPhone 14. I was debating whether to get this one or the mophie 3-in-1 that includes additional chargers for Apple Watch and my AirPods Pro because I wanted something to take with my on trips and was therefore not too bulky or heavy, but I probably should have gone with the other model because I do have those accessories. I took off a star on the rating because the surface of the mophie charging stand seems to scuff very easily, taking away from the appearance. Also, I took off another star because I was expecting to receive a cable and charging block with it because of photos I had seen on the mophie website and the way the packaging has a space for them, but they are not included, so this will not work out-of-the-box. You need to have those accessories to make it work. Other than that, it does exactly what it is supposed to do - charge your mag-safe phone.

This Mophie Qi 2 charging stand is a standalone wireless charger. It's made with quality materials and feels sturdy enough that can last for a long time. The charger itself is the only thing included in the box with illustrated instructions. No charging cable or wall plug is included with this wireless charger. The charger must be used with a USBC cable that can be attached by a guide underneath the stand. The stand includes a magnet to which iPhones can be attached in order to charge. This charger is not compatible with Android phones. The stand is tilted in a way where any ordinary phone can't charge wirelessly with this stand. This stand is specifically designed for any iPhone with a magnet. The magnet is strong enough to hold the iPhone it does not feel flimsy or weak. The charger itself charges fairly quickly with up to 15w of charging power. Overall this is a great charger for any iPhone user in the market for a wireless charger. Please note this charger is only compatible for iPhones.

    Basically a weighted magnet stand

This mophie charging stand is just a weighted MagSafe stand. It does not come with a charging cable, as shown in the photos on the product page and in the quick start guide inside the box. It does not come with a charging block either. It is not clearly stated on the box that there is no charging cable included. It is stated in a ridiculously small font on the back of the box (see photo) that a USB-C cable is not included. This item has a $44.99 MSRP which is a very poor value since there is no cable included. The design of this stand is also very average. It does not telescope to make it any higher/ taller. If you have a large phone it will almost be touching the base at the steepest angle. You can move the MagSafe circle a bit but it’s not a lot of movement, a bit like nodding your head. The underside of the base has a track cutout which you can fit your cable into and around, but there is only one cutout for the cable to exit towards the back. This means if you want your stand to be flush with the back of a counter, it doesn’t do that. You need room for the cord. There should be exit cutouts on the two sides also (see marked up photo) for better versatility. The packaging of this stand is also bad. The stand is secured inside the box with black cardboard, and the white stand is permanently smudged from the black cardboard (see photo). I used rubbing alcohol to try and remove the smudge but it didn’t remove most of it. Hopefully over time it comes off.

The product is great. Looks great with my "white" keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. The only reason I give it 4 and not 5 stars is that The charging wire needs to be VERY snug in the charging port or it won't work. Other than that, great product, especially for the price.
