So far, the mophie - Qi2 Charging stand is doing exactly what I need it to do. I recently started a new job that required me to return to office. Gross…but that’s another review. Anyway, I had been working for about a month with an ol’ brick and cable to keep my phone charged throughout the day. I decided to pick up a magnetic charging stand for my desk so I would fit in with the aesthetic of my new workspace and not have to keep plugging/unplugging all day. This is a very simple unit that does one thing…charges your phone. That said, it does the job well. It has a nice look and feel. When my phone is on the stand, I can pivot the screen up or down a few degrees…enough to manage glare from other light sources in the office. It also keeps my phone at the correct angle within my peripheral vision to be able to keep it on silent without missing important texts or calls. The weight of the unit and the strength of the magnet seem just about perfect. When you put the phone on the stand, it has a secure snap to it, but when you can still remove it easily with one hand. The only thing I found disappointing was the lack of a brick and cable in the box. The only thing in the box is the stand itself. Otherwise, it’s been great.

I have been using the mophie wireless charging stand for a while now and it’s been solid so far. Out of the box. it’s pretty simple. It’s just the stand itself without a cable included, which I actually prefer since I can use my own USB-C cable. The stand feels sturdy and has some weight to it so it doesn’t slide around or tip over. The MagSafe magnet is strong and my phone with a MagSafe case snaps on easily and stays put which is a huge plus. The adjustable head is handy when I want to tilt the phone to watch something, and it holds the angle well. The cable management on the bottom is a nice touch too, it keeps things looking cleaner on my desk. Charging speed has been fast and reliable, I have no complaints there. Overall, the mophie wireless charging stand is straightforward, works the way I want it to, and I would recommend it if you’re looking for a dependable charging stand. I like its simple design, strong magnet, and fast charging capability. For the price point, this is a pretty solid choice.

Great charging stand for a single iPhone

Most of the magnetic charging stands I tend to see these days have a bunch of charging surfaces on them and seem to be designed for you to charge an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once. Meanwhile, this one has a single charging surface, compatible with MagSafe, to charge a single iPhone. On the surface, this kind of just sounds worse - why would you want a product that does less? Well, it's all about the use case. Without the extra surface area needed to accommodate both earbuds and a watch, this stand is actually a great fit to stick in the middle of a desktop work area. It can hold your phone and let you use it for calls or watch notifications coming in without taking up unnecessary space or getting in the way. The charging performance is about what I'd expect. The stand is constructed well, and there's no issues with the MagSafe implementation - I've had my phone both horizontal and vertical and haven't had any issues with it slipping off. There's enough tension behind the magnets to keep my phone secure, without there being so much that it's hard to remove the phone. I should mention, however, that this stand isn't super weighty - I have to peel my phone away from it by an edge, because if I just pick it straight up the whole stand comes with it. I suppose that's the downside of not having the extra equipment in the base, but I don't mind it considering that it works really well in my office. Overall, I rather like this charging stand, and I'd absolutely recommend it as long as you have a phone that supports MagSafe. (Don't make the mistake I did and try to stick, for example, an iPhone 16e to it - that phone doesn't have MagSafe, so it doesn't work out that well.)

The march toward universal standards across smart phone manufacturers continues, with charging becoming more standardized every day. Qi2 is the name of the game these days, giving compatible devices both faster charging and magnetic alignment, a la Apple's MagSafe. Longtime accessory maker Mophie's latest round of Qi2 charging stands includes both single- and multi-device models in classy new colorways. I already use a triple-device charging stand so I chose this phone-only stand for my office desk. The stand arrived in sleek Mophie packaging, all paper-based and fully recyclable, which is great. Unboxing was quick and simple. The first thing I noticed, however, was a prominent black streak where the charging head was held steady by a slot in the inner package. This isn't a great first impression, but easily remedied; the black paper dye had rubbed off on the grippy white charging head in transit. I used a magic eraser to clean it off with no damage. My second -- and more frustrating -- unboxing annoyance was finding no charging cable is included in the box. Although the photos show a white cable and the description online talks about an "integrated cable" that coils up in the base, my unit included neither. Ironically there was perfectly-sized space within the box where a cable would be coiled up, but the outside of the package confirmed there was no cable included. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, the online photos and description aren't accurate, and for the price of the unit it feels cheap to leave out any sort of cable. On the other hand, I have more than one USB-C cable, and I don't really need one more. I elected to use the standard Apple USB-C cable included with my iPhone, which fit perfectly and looks really good with the stand. It does coil up nicely in the base, although you'll only get two, maybe three, wraps around the holder, depending on your cable. The exit gap at the back doesn't hold the cable tightly, so if you pick up the stand it will pretty quickly unravel. That said, overall look and feel of the charger are very price-appropriate. The matte, grippy white and light golden aluminum look and feel premium, and the stand has a nice weight to it for stability and enhanced feel. I wish the aluminum was silver, to match most of my other Apple-centric devices and accessories, but as it stands the color is on-trend and attractive. For what it's worth, a colleague noticed the stand and complimented it within a few minutes of me plugging it in. After locating a cable and plugging the stand into an existing USB-C PD charger (a wall plug is not included in package either) I snapped my phone into place and it began to charge immediately. The magnetic hold is plenty strong and the adjustable charging head moves smoothly. I didn't conduct any "scientific" charging speed tests, but my iPhone Air showed the "minutes to 80%" banner at the top of the lock screen, which I believe indicates fast charging. At no time did I see the "slow charger" message pop up. Keep in mind you'll need to plug this stand into a charger with sufficient wattage to enable fast charging, perhaps something 20 watts or better. Since setting it up I've been using the Mophie stand daily to keep my phone elevated and in view while I'm working, as well as topped off on charge. It works well and looks good, which are (more or less) the highest compliments I can pay a phone charger. Keeping this unit from five stars, however, is the lack of included cable. Not only is Mophie charging a premium for this single function stand, but the online description and photos on the Best Buy site imply a cable is included. On sale (or at a permanently-reduced price) this stand is a good option with a high-end look and feel. I just wouldn't recommend paying full price without a cable (or wall plug, for that matter) included in the box.

The Mophie Wireless Charging Stand is the perfect addition to your nightstand, offering an elegant charging solution for your iPhone or Qi2 device. This MagSafe compatible stand provides perfect alignment, both my iPhone and Pixel 10 pro snap in place effortlessly. You can also tilt and rotate the phone to landscape orientation if you prefer to utilize the bedside mode of your phone. The stand is compact yet, solid. The stand doesn’t slide around easily, which is a good thing. I wasn't sure how much it would move trying to grab a phone one handed, but thanks to the silicone base and weight it stays in place if you tilt the phone vertically as you remove it. I feel for the cost, the base could have a little more weight. However, the matte white plastic and satin champaign metal finish looks refined and matches modern aesthetics. Though Mophie doesn’t include a cable or charger, the stand features integrated cable management and is capable of 15W for fast charging. Overall, it is a high quality charging stand with usability in mind, blended into a clean and modern design.

I've been testing the Mophie Qi2 Wireless Charging Stand for the last week. Overall, it's a good stand with some minor drawbacks. I like that the stand is stylish, well-built, and remains stable when holding a phone. Underneath, there is a cable management loop designed to protect the USB-C cable and keep it tucked away, which helps me maintain a clean look on my nightstand. The stand is certified to provide up to 15 watts of power. In my testing, that translated to roughly 10 percent charge per hour for both my iPhone and Pixel 10. Its not as fast as wired but I think that's an acceptable speed for overnight charging. However, the stand does have some minor drawbacks. The magnetic connection is a bit weak for my liking, especially when using a phone case. While it holds the weight, I would prefer a stronger grip. Additionally, the cable management loop only accommodates thinner cables, and unfortunately, no cable is included in the box. With that said, I would recommend this stand despite its shortcomings.

Morphie is a brand I am more familiar with when it comes to power banks, but I'm not surprised that they make Qi chargers like this one. This is much higher quality charging stand than those I've encountered before. My biggest issue with stands like this is that the tilt-hinge is never tight or solid enough to support the weight of the phone, and it ends up tilting down as far as it can. While only time will tell how long that will not be a problem with this stand, it feels very solid and less likely to have that problem any time soon. Here are some plusses on this stand: - Solid weight and build - it's not likely going to tip over from the weight of the phone. - Good design for cable management - Strong magnet holds the phone in place - Sleek and clean design, easy to clean Here are some of the minuses: - White design tends to show dirt easily, and either the manufacturing or the packaging itself means that the magnetic base was dirty upon removing from the package. - No cable or charger included - Can only charge one device, there is no charger in the base, only the magnetic contact I found the best use case for me was to use this charger at my desk while working, as my organization requires using an authenticator for signing into many of our applications, and I can set this phone on the stand and it can use face ID without me having to pick it up. I can also play music from my phone and access the controls easily without having to pick it up. The cable management not only provides a slot in the back of the stand to sit flush on the surface, but also provides space to wrap the cable in the base if it is particularly long. The base is covered with a smooth rubber-like material that provides plenty of resistance, so it does not slide around the surface it's sitting on. As mentioned, the magnetic bases where you place your phone, which is covered in the same material, is white, meaning it will show dirt a lot easier. What was surprising is that it actually had some scuff marks on it when I received it. Most of them I wiped away with a damp cloth, but one of them would not go away and I didn't want to use a chemical cleaner on it. It's faint, but it's there. The packaging is black (black product box, black containing box). Perhaps putting the stand in a plastic bag would have helped if the packaging is the reason for this. Probably the most surprising feature, or lack thereof, for me is the lack of a charging cable. I don't generally expect a power brick (the part you plug into the wall), but I was surprised there was no USB-C cable included. I have an iPhone 14, which still uses Apple's old design of cable, so if this is you and you don't have extra USB-C cables available, be prepared to purchase one to use with this stand. Overall, this is a nice stand with a sleek look that fits most decor, and it's quite practical compared to a flat charger that you have to lay the phone down onto. With the exception of the lack of cable included in the box and dirty surface of the charging magnet (which might bother some people), I would recommend this charger as a great way to keep your phone visible while charging. Apple's Magsafe and other similar designs on Android devices means that you can orient the phone vertically or horizontally on the stand and be able to use it easily while charging it. Definitely a recommended device!

    Attractive option for bedside charging

Historically, I've been pretty unimpressed by wireless charging. While the tech is very convenient in theory, in practice I've found it a bit too fiddly. The need to make sure the charging coils are properly aligned makes it all too easy to think you're charging your phone up for a few hours, only to grab it and discover that it's barely picked up any charge at all. The addition of strong magnets to effectively force the phone into the proper position has been a major game changer though, and I decided to head into the review with an open mind to see if the tech can wow me now that it's a bit less likely to slip out of position. And I have to say - I like what I see. Inside the box you'll find the stand, some documentation, and nothing else. So you should probably plan to get a high wattage phone charger if you don't already have one. The stand itself is pleasantly sturdy, which is good since my own phone is a pretty heavy foldable with an equally heavy case (the magnets being an aftermarket addition.) Even with that, the stand was able to hold its balance and worked surprisingly well as a replacement for a bedside alarm clock. Charging speeds are quite good too. Still can't quite match what you get with a cable, but it's definitely close enough. Only complaint is that it did get a little wobbly when I unfolded my phone, but to be fair that's really on me for buying such an unusual form factor. There are a few downsides, though. To start: the magnets do not let go particularly easily, so it's not quite as simple as just grabbing the phone off the charging pad. Second, I've noticed that the rubber pad on the contact surface seems to be quite good at picking up scuff marks. Sometime during the first day, in fact, a large black smudge appeared in the upper left hand side, and so far I haven't been able to figure out anything that can clean it. If I had to guess the source, I'd say it's probably my black phone case, so do with that what you will. Normally I wouldn't mind much... but as mentioned, I was using this on my bedside and the looks do matter to me a bit. It's still an easy recommendation for me, but I think I might recommend a slightly darker color if it's an option.

This stand is basically about convenience. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but it makes charging your phone feel a lot smoother. What I Like * Drop and go: You don’t have to fiddle with cords. Just set your phone on the stand and it locks in place with a strong magnetic hold. * Fast enough: It charges quickly without heating up too much, so you’re not waiting around. * Keeps the phone upright: I like that it props the phone up instead of laying it flat. Makes it easy to glance at notifications or watch a video while it’s charging. * Clean look: Simple design that doesn’t clutter up a desk or nightstand. What Could Be Better * Pricey for what it is: You’re paying for the brand name here. There are cheaper stands that do the same job. * No extra features: It’s just a charger. No USB ports, no adjustable angles—what you see is what you get. * Best with newer phones: Works great with MagSafe‑style devices, but older phones without magnetic alignment don’t sit as nicely. Bottom Line * The Mophie Qi2 stand is all about ease and reliability. If you want a charger that looks good, holds your phone steady, and just works, this one delivers. But if you’re hunting for extras or trying to save a few bucks, you can find simpler stands that get the job done for less.

These days, using the USB-C cord to charge any device feels archaic when it's so much simpler and convenient to just slap your device onto a charging stand. Using a charging stand like this Mophie Qi2 charges your phone faster compared to plugging in a cord into the base of your phone. You can use this charging stand in your bedroom and you'll find that it's easier to just look over and see the phone display (in horizontal mode) softly showing off the time without needing to pick up the phone, tapping the screen and checking whether or not you have time to catch some more sleep before the alarm goes off. What's better is that this stand in any area. As long as you have an outlet for the USB-C cord to be plugged into, then you can have this stand at your disposal. In the kitchen while prepping a meal, you can watch videos, or have it on an end table in the living room. I have to mention that this charging stand DOES NOT have a cable included. This charging stand is only meant for your phone. It doesn't charge your watch or ear pods. Again, i feel like I need to mention that because there may be some who are wondering. Overall, the Mophie Qi2 Charging Stand is a simple addition to your tech life. It doesn't get in your way and nor the design scream for obnoxious attention.

Owned by Zagg, mophie has developed into a great company that makes quality products. This stand charges at 15W and works very well. Per their advertisement, any device that is MagSafe and Qi2 compatible will work with this stand and charge. I have an iPhone and it works very well. I use a clear MagSafe compatible case and the phone stays on very securely. Without the case attached, it’s even more secure on the stand. It starts charging immediately and I didn’t have any indication that it had stopped at all until it was full. While on the stand, you can easily turn it for either portrait or landscape allowing for different views while idle. The head is adjustable so you have different angles and can easily be used for video calls due to its height off of the desk. Setting it up is easy as you’d expect. There is cable management built into the bottom with a USB-C port. I was a bit disappointed that there isn’t a cable included but, it has become very common with most accessory products these days. Although it isn't expressly called out, I am also able to put my AirPods onto the charger as well and the case stays attached perfectly. This charging stand is well worth it and with a two-year warranty being included, it’s even more appealing.

And once again I have found that it's impossible to go wrong with a device from Mophie. This is my first Qi 2 charging device and I have found it works perfectly with my iPhone. I like that the base is properly heave enough to prevent my first initial concern I first had with this charger. The properly weighed base keeps the phone from tipping over when using it. The Mag Safe built into the iPhone has a rather satisfying click then you place it on the charger. The charging head properly adjusts up or down to obtain the correct viewing angle for your preference. I also discovered one of the benefits of using a Qi 2 charger with a more modern iPhone is that if you place it in landscape mode on the charger it switches to a sort of "clock" mode. Call me a geek but I probably like that feature the most. As much as I'm enjoying this Qi2 charger it's not all rainbows and butterflies here. My biggest complaint, and really only one, is that it does not come with a power cable to connect it. Thankfully I am not USB-C poor so this was an easy fix for me. Other than one minor quible this is about as close to perfect a wireless charger gets.

The mophie Qi2 charging stand works as it should. The magnet is strong enough to hold your device up. The size is perfect not too big and not too small. It does feel like a very well built stand, it has nice weight to it. The bottom portion of the stand helps conceal the wires, but make sure the wire is not too thick. The biggest and only issue i found with this charging stand is the fact that it does not come with its plug or wire to charge. You have to use your own and if your charging cable and plug are not high speed then the charger is not high speed. That has to be the biggest disappointment for anyone getting this charger. It would only make sense for a charging stand to come with its own cable and plug that would provide the most efficient and powerful charging option. If you are able to live without that this may be a good option for you, although i would not recommend any of my friends or family to get this device just for the fact that it does not come with the charging cable and plug. But overall, the device works as it should and supports fast charging as indicated.

For nearly a year now I’ve been using a different (well-known) brand’s charging stand. I always place my mobile phone on that charging stand at night, so in the morning I can wake up to a fully charged cell phone. More and more, there are mornings where the phone won’t have charged at all, which is beyond frustrating. And yes, I do take the time, every time, to make sure that my phone is placed upon the stand correctly, that the connection is secure, and to listen for that “is charging” sound. And so, when I had the chance to get this Mophie Qi2 charging stand, I was really interested to see if it would solve my phone’s charging problem. The simple answer is, yes. This Mophie gets my phone charged back up, super fast! And its simple design is rather stylish, too. While my other charging stand is designed to also charge my watch and earbuds, as well as my phone, I didn’t mind that this Mophie Qi2 model didn’t have that capability since my other charging stand has those features, and they work fine. The only “con” I could mention is that this Mophie doesn’t come with its own power cord. This is a basic feature, and should have been included even though most people likely have a spare USB-C cord available to them from some other device.
