What could be more simple. Plug it in, open the lid, insert cellphone, close lid and press button. In five minutes, your cellphone is germ free. And you can charge your phone on top of the unit wirelessly. Love it! I wish i could put my ipad in there , too.

Practical Charger and Sanitizer

The mophie UV Sanitizer with Wireless Charging is the perfect device for killing the most common surface bacteria from phones and small items. While I have no way of confirming the effectiveness of the UV sanitation, it is comforting to know I can place items into this device when I wouldn't want to use a sanitizer gel. Keys, bank cards, pens, USB drives, and ear pods are just some of the items I have placed into this device.
The unit is straightforward to use. Place items into the unit, close the lid and press the front button. After a five-minute cleaning cycle, the unit will beep to let you know it is done.
Pros
• Can do wireless charging, up to 18W, while sanitizing.
• Small enough to fit in luggage for travel and is very lightweight.
• Short, five minutes sanitation cycle.
• Four UV-C lights, two on each end.
• The front button will fade cycle while charging a device.
Cons
• On my desk, the lid wouldn't stay open while putting items inside. I put a small sticky pad under the front feet to help lean the cover back when open.
• The top of the lid is smooth plastic without any grips for preventing the phone from sliding off.
• There is no way to tell if the UV lights are on without lifting the lid.
Overall, for the price and because of the current pandemic situation, being able to charge and sanitize your phone makes this a no-brainer purchase.

Had been looking into UV sanitizers and came across this Mophie UV Sanitizer with Wireless Charging.
The unit itself has clean simple design. It does seem a little big at first but my iPhone 7+ fit inside with room to spare. It also fit with a slim case on but not my Mophie battery case. Not really an issue as you would probably want to the phone and case separately anyway.
There is an led light/button on the front that is pressed and makes a soft audible beep to start the UV cleaning process. After 5 minutes there is a multiple beep alert that lets you know the process is done. The beeps are to soft if your watching tv or listening to anything else at even a moderate level and the led doesn’t change color to give you a better indication that the UV cleaning process is on or off. And I cannot say whether or not the UV light cleaning process is or is not doing it’s job as I don’t have a way of checking? The only way to see if the UV lights are on is to slightly crack open the lid to see if it’s on or not. I had to do this the first few times I used the unit as I couldn’t hear the audible beeps. And the included quick start guide was not much help.
The wireless charging was the feature that made me choose this unit. I unfortunately made the mistake of not noticing that the wireless charging happens when you put your device on top of the closed unit. While this may allow you to clean one device/item while charging another it’s convenience is quickly nullified when you have to open the unit to take out the item you are cleaning. There is nothing holding your charging item to the cover so unless you hold it yourself the device will fall off. I ended up just cleaning all our phones then charging after.
While wireless charger adds some convenience but it charges really slowly. I couldn’t find any info in the almost empty instructions that mentioned what the charge rate is? It works with our iPhones and LG’s and even my old 7+ with a Mophie wireless battery case but I would really only use it to charge your phone if your not in a rush or overnight.
Overall I like the unit despite its limitations. I would like to see them have the wireless charging be faster and maybe add something to hold your device in place while opening the unit. And maybe adding another color to the led button for a visual alert to the start/finished cleaning process.

A Cool Cleaning Device with a Clean Look

The mophie UV sanitizer with wireless charger is a great little device given today’s climate with germ control. Simply put...you put things inside the holder, close the lid, and hit the button. According to the guide, the process can last up to 5 minutes. However, I haven’t had anything last longer than 3 minutes so far. To help you realize when it is finished, it will beep three times. I have sanitized things like my credit cards, ID, smart watch, phones, and earbuds. I will say that the internal compartment isn’t huge. I can’t fit much in there with my phone. My earbuds provided a little bit of trouble because they are bulkier than most. The lid was 99% of the way shut with them in there, but it still turned on.
To go along with the sanitizer, the top of the unit also serves as a wireless charger. It would be amazing if it charged while inside, but this is nothing to scoff at. It works quite well providing up to a 10w charge. I found my Samsung and Apple phone both worked well out of their cases. I do have a thinner case on the Samsung and still powered through it. Anything thicker is going to need to come off. Also, I noticed that the power button on the front slowly blinks when a device is charging. That’s good to know when trying to figure out if it is fully charged or not.
All in all, this is a great device with some nifty features. It comes with its own plug with a USB-C cable adapter so you don’t have to reuse anything of your own. The UV-C Light only comes on when the lid is closed so you don’t have to concern yourself with exposure. Also, it’s a nice clean white machine that you can leave in the open and not look out of place.
Ultimately, I would recommend this if anyone wants to try sanitizing things, but I would love a little more in the guide so to explain things better. There’s not much there and leave things to trial and error. Lastly, adding some identifiers for cleaning or charging outside of the front light would be helpful. While not deal breakers, it would be nice to see a little more of a display.

A Good, Convenient Peace of Mind

There are two aspects of this device to look at when considering picking one up. First the wireless charging and second the UV cleaning side. I can say that it gets most of his correct.
The wireless charging portion it does well. It charges up to 10W if your device supports it, and whatever you must charge, lays flat on the top of the charger not inside of it. So just about any wireless charging compatible device, I tried it with a couple of phones, and some headphones and all charged without any issues. There is a slight curve to the lid which has made me feel a little nervous when placing a phone on it without a case. Most new devices have a slippery glass back and the curve of the top of the charger made me a little hesitant at first, but I can say that nothing has slipped off the top. Your phone or devices will not charge when inside the UV cleaning portion.
Second, up is the UV cleaner. Most phones will fit in here to clean, and most earbuds will too. The cases to earbuds probably will not. I tried to place the Airpod Pro case, and Galaxy Buds+ case in there but the lid did not close. If you pop the actual buds out of their case, you can easily fit them inside to clean them up. I tried 3 phones in here and all 3 worked with only one of them having a slight issue. The Note 10+, and iPhone 11 Pro Max fit in here with no issue, even with their cases on. The LG V60 ThinQ fits in without the dual-screen case, but with the dual-screen case on it is just a tad too large. One little gripe I had was that the lid to this will not stay open on its own. You must hold it up while placing your device in to clean. I was not expecting that, but it was a small inconvenience.
Overall, I am happy with this device and can say that the UV cleaning aspect gives me a little peace of mind. Come back in the house and toss your phone in for a few minutes and hopefully any nastiness from outside will get cleared away. Toss it on the lid and boost it up when you are not using it.

Great Product for These Unprecedented Times

The Mophie UV Sanitizer with wireless charging is something we did not think we needed until this pandemic came up. Many businesses and hospitals use UV-C light to disinfect surfaces and gear to kill off the harmful viruses many disinfecting products tend to miss. There have been many studies that have shown that UV-C can kill different types of viruses. While there isn’t enough research that confirms that UV-C can kill COVID-19, UV-C, does kill the problematic influenza.
This UV Sanitizer can help disinfect the small products you touch every day such as a phone, TV remote, or even your car keys. These products we use every day can come in contact with harmful germs and this product can help you terminate the germs on your devices. It is seriously tough to prove that this product works unless it is tested in a field with lab equipment but from what I’ve read from other disinfecting products, these UV Sanitizers tend to do what they’re supposed to.
The process is simple. Simply place items you need disinfecting inside the UV Sanitizer and press the button on the front. That’s it! Wait five minutes for the disinfecting to complete and remove the items. If you open the lid during the sanitation cycle the kill-switch is engaged for safety. Now, you won’t have to worry about kids messing with the device at the wrong times!
The wireless charging portion can definitely be improved upon as it is a hit-or-miss. This product does support fast charging, but the phone placement needs to be exact for the wireless charging to work. I did notice that the wireless charging is significantly slower than using a cable. But I did manage to charge my phone with a heavy-duty phone case on. Many wireless chargers that I have previously owned tend to not work with this case.
Overall, I would recommend adding this UV Sanitizer inside your household or office. Many people tend to forget to disinfect their hand-held products and with this around, they’ll remember to disinfect their products daily.

Mophie UV Sanitizer
Even before this Covid pandemic started, we carried around more germs and bacteria then we care know about. Our phones, keys, and money all covered in bacteria from our day to day activities. I would clean my phone with a liquid sanitizer but at the risk of damaging my phone and cleaning the keys honestly just seems like a big hassle. Now in just five minutes you can wipe away the germs and bacteria on your everyday items without risk of damage.
Mophie UV Sanitizer is an awesome two-in-one sanitizer and a wireless Fast phone charger in one. The sanitizing process takes about 5 minutes in the enclosed area with UV lights on both ends of the unit. The sanitizer is extremely simple to use, just place the items in the tray and close the lid and press the power button. An audible tone lets you know when the sanitizing process has started and ended. My family and I use this unit pretty much everyday just to at least clean our phones, and in-ear headphones.
The lid of the unit serves as fast wireless charger and worked just fine with my android and IOS devices. The sanitizing and charging process do work at the same time. The do wish that the sanitizing enclosure was a little bit deeper to fit other larger items.
Overall a good unit and I would definitely recommend this.

Even before COVID-19, I had been thinking about getting a phone sanitizer. But COVID-19 really pushed it up on the priority list for me.
The device is simple to use, just put your device in, close the lid, and press the button. Five minutes later, the sanitization is complete and your device is ready to go. Outside of the beep at the end, the device is silent. Besides my phone, I have also used the sanitizer on my watch (had to separate the band to get it to fit), and my glasses. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper way to test the performance of the unit, so I will let the experts weigh in on it. I do wish the device was a tad thicker and longer, because some thing, such as my universal remote does not fit in it.
A big plus of the device is that the lid functions as a wireless charger. In a rough test, my phone went from about 57% - 74% in about 30 min. Note that your phone won't be charged while it is sanitized.

Put your phone in screen facing down push the led button once you hear a beep cleaning cycle starts 5 minutes later you hear another beep cycle complete. My Samsung S20+ with speck case on fits with a little room to spare. To charge phone just place on top and unit will auto start charging and led will flash on and off while charging. I placed phone screen up with speck case on and charging worked fine. Note this charger is rated 10W the max charging rate I got was 1.5 amps which is fine I have chargers that charge 3.0 amps which is faster but slower charging is better for increased battery life. I also put my key fobs and bank cards in the sanitizer great benefit. Good product at a fair price.

This works very efficiently after a few weeks of use. Both my wife and I are considered essential workers and have been to our office mostly throughout the Covid pandemic.
This Mophie UV sanitizer is the perfect wireless charging & device sanitizing combo!
We now have an added peace of mind that we are able to sanitize our mobile devices, earbuds, pens, keys, etc with the same technology healthcare workers are using to sterilize/reuse N95s masks.
The unit size is large enough to both charge and sanitize a Note 10+ w/ the case on, so it should fit most larger mobile phones with ease. No issues whatsoever pushing a wireless charge through both our devices, with and w/out cases.
My only minor detraction from an otherwise excellent product is the tone of the buzzer when the clean cycle is complete...its just a bit unpleasant sounding.
Otherwise, I recommend this to others, especially colleagues out there in the healthcare industry.

Let's start with the good.
Out of the box the first impression is that this is an attractive device that you would not mind having out on a table in the den or living room.
The device is a white rectangular box approximately 8" x 5" x 1 1/2".
The dimensions are large enough to hold almost any phone, including the case, as well as keys, credit cards, etc.
To sanitize you just place the items inside the box and press the lighted button. You will hear a beep and the light on the button intensifies. Five minutes later it beeps again to let you know that the cycle is complete. During operation the interior is lighted with uvc lamps located at opposite ends of the interior.
The connection to the box is USB-C. However the other side of the cable is affixed to the power adapter.
So as far as sanitizing goes, this appears to do the job quickly with very simple operation.
Now, the not so good.
The top of the device is a wireless charger. It is a nice large flat surface on which to place your phone and easily make contact with the charging coil in your phone.
However, I placed my phone on the charger with a 20% charge left in my battery. It took a full 3 hours of charging to get to fully charged. That means a more fully drained phone would have taken about 4 hours to charge, That is painfully slow. That makes the wireless charger useless to me. My phone is a Pixel 4 which typically charges very fast via a wired connection. Now it is possible that an iPhone or Samsung device might charge faster so you may have a different experience. But I cannot recommend this for the wireless charging if you are a Pixel owner.
Another negative is the instructions. It states "Switch off wireless charger when not in use. The wireless charger will automatically switch off when disconnected from the wall charger. To disconnect the charging pad from line voltage, pull the ac adapter from the outlet".
What? Are they actually telling us that we have to pull the plug out after each use? That makes no sense. It would be easier just to use a charging cable.
Assuming the instructions are incorrect, the bottom line is that I can recommend this product for sanitizing only. I can't say whether your wireless charging experience will be better than mine with a different phone. So all I can say is if you own a Pixel device do not count on fast wireless charging when making your purchasing decision.

This sanitizer/charger is the best thing yet. I was looking for a reputable company that provided a sanitizer/charger that would do its job and Morphie hit the nail on the head. Easy to sanitize your phone, keys, glasses, etc in the tray which easily fits my iPhone X Pro Max. I also appreciate the charger which is on top of the tray. Someone said they were disappointed it didn't charge inside the tray, but I like it sitting on top so I can grab if there is a phone call or message. Highly recommend this product and would suggest to spend the extra $20 to get a well known brand product

The charging part of this gizmo works great. The UV sanitizing compartment is too shallow. It's good for most phones (My S22 Ultra will not fit in it with a case on it. No biggie.). Okay for keys or maybe watches too. put a pair of eyeglasses in and it wouldn't close.

I took off a star as it doesn't fit our phones inside for sanitizing with their cases on. Otherwise it's a rather costly but very competent wireless charger that actually charges my phone in its Otterbox case. Very few wireless chargers are able to do that. As for the sanitizing part - I have no way of telling how effective it is, so this is mainly used for wireless charging.
