Awesome game honestly I played this with most of my family. The graphics are perfect. New characters, the only reason for the 4 stars is that the game play feels a bit slower compared to the previous game Mortal Kombat X. So when you are fighting you feel as if the controls aren't responsive enough to what you're doing. I think the graphics might be a bit too good that it causes some lag in gameplay and responsiveness.

I used to love fighting games like MK, street fighter, tekken etc but most of those games aren't what they used to be. I wasn't impressed with SF5 or Tekken 7. They are good but not day 1 purchases. This one however is. Still amazing gameplay. Graphics are amazing, story is worth at least 1 playthrough. Great buy.

Great game, had a great story and has some great reply value. Collectors edition Steelbook is simple but classy. Don't bother with the standard edition, get the premium edition that comes with most of the DLC going to be released in the future.

The actual fighting gameplay is great, but so many skins and even brutalities and fatalities are locked and require hours of grinding in the Towers of Time or other game modes in order to unlock. And there, most unlocks are randomly available to you, so you have no way to make sure you’re always unlocking something for the character you play. But other than that, fun game.

Awesome graphics, alot of options, and the game is very customizable. Premium edition is the way to go if you want a deal on DLC characters which i highly recommend since you only start with 24 characters. (25 if you buy shao kahn)

This is if not one of the best fighting games I've ever played. The story mode itself is worth the time. I haven't tried the towers of time yet but I heard that the developers are making changes due to the level of difficulty.

The actual fighting mechanics in this game are great; they feel deep without being overly complicated, although newcomers to the series will still have a little bit of a learning curve. The visuals are fantastic, and the gore is sillier and more over-the-top than it's ever been. I do hope that the Random Kombat mode that was in MKX gets added as DLC later on.

I’ve played every single MK since standing at the console in my hometown arcade and I still find any excuse to follow the franchise even when it’s disappointed me. MK11 does not. The mechanics encourage a more patient style than the past two very successful games, which for me is welcome relief. The game is beautiful and I appreciate the character redesigns NRS has executed. Cast looks great. And some of the stages... OH MY DAYS #k&m. All that said, the abilities, gear, and krypt content are pretty jacked up. It’s very confusing initially determining what versions of what characters are used in which modes (online ranked, casual, tournament etc etc), to say nothing of all the currencies and modifiers earned in the tower challenges and spent in the krypt. NRS just patched the problem by lowering the difficulty for the towers and giving away 500K coins plus a bunch of other loot to everyone, but that speaks to the rushed nature of the system imo... literally throwing money at the problem. Because ultimately that stuff doesn’t affect the game flow and mechanics, I can’t say it’s fundamentally detrimental to the experience, but I also can’t give it 5 stars. Looking forward to seeing how NRS treats the game in further patches and how it develops over time.

Game play seems simple but can be complex with the new features. Nice story mode and interesting character endings. Fatalities always great! Krypt and towers can get grinding. You get what you would expect from an MK game.

I could rate this 5 stars based just on the story mode. Every character has something to do and you genuinely care about what's happening to them. The net code is spot on. Only gripe is the extensive grind for unlocks

This review is for the premium edition of MK11. The Steelbook is awesome looking, and the game comes with a variety of extras such as characters and skins. Awesome overall game and I def recommend picking this up!

Great graphics/game play. Love the story mode, until the end, ha ha. That Kronika is a real test.. Excellent play. Definitely not suitable for the little ones. This is not your fathers Mortal Kombat...

MK finds a way to stay relevant with its 11th installment. Great story mode, well-balanced fighting mechanics, and a character customization system that will keep you hooked for a long time. Excellent!

Mortal Kombat delivers once again. The story mode provides a great new interest for new followers of MK as well as the older followers. Game play is very smooth and is a 10 rating.

Diverse cast of characters, tons of gore, detailed mechanics. You can play online, or the story, or try to unravel the mysteries of The Krypt, Shang Tsung's enigmatic island of loot boxes.

Another awesome addition to the MK collection. This game has a lot to offer, and a lot of gameplay! Story mode is definitely awesome as well! One of the best fighting games of all time!

This game is awesome it improves on so many levels. Most gory MK yet. only cons is it’s grind to get more cosmetic attires and missing a few of my favorite characters aka reptile/smoke.

This game is great with a lot to offer to casual and hardcore fans of mortal kombat. Must buy for the hardcore fans because it comes with DLC. I cant wait to see spawn in the game !!

As usual, another fantastic installment to the series. More over the top fatalities and fantastic graphics. Story line was interesting enough.

It’s Mortal Kombat at its best! Graphics are great and so much to keep you busy with! Great story mode! Many different challenges with the towers! I highly recommend.
