Awesome Kollection for old school Mortal Kombat fans. Has almost every game from the NES to the ps1, spinoff games, and arcade versions as well. Don’t skip out on this collection

Great collection with cool bonus items for the physical edition. This game was in a bit of a rough state when it launched, but the addition of lobbies really helps with the online experience. Matches with other players can be a bit laggy and choppy at times, but it's also that I'm used to the smoother, modern controls of games like Street Fighter 6. The single-player content and documentary footage is awesome -- Digital Eclipse has come through again.
Best Buy came through as always with a smooth and hassle-free preorder and pickup process that makes them my retailer of choice for gaming.

Overall, this is a great collection that relies heavily on the arcade ports of the first four games in the fighting game series and the documentary providing details of their development, successes, and failures. Recommended for fans of the series that are interested in the lore and history behind the games.

My only complaint is that it doesn’t include every home console version. For example, it only has the Super Nintendo version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, not the Sega Saturn version. Or that it only has the PlayStation version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy, not the Nintendo 64 version. Each home console version plays differently or has a different set of characters, it would be nice to have them all included.
