This movie is an outright Masterpiece. I don’t know if it is because I went to Catholic school growing, but this was one of the most POWERFUL films I have seen and the framing of home invasion makes it that much scarier. I definitely recommend this movie but I can’t promise you would be able to watching more than once in single year. I still need a breather in 2020.

This movie I found to be a bit strange. Some of it was confusing. I usually like supernatural movies, but this had a very odd vibe from beginning to end. The acting was okay, but Jennifer has done better. I feel she was not the best in this movie. In fact, none of the other actors were all that great, Perhaps this is the fault of the director.

This is a weird movie but has a deep meaning! If ur to movies that have ur attention then is a must watch. Some people might say it’s too weird but if u like weird this is for u.

Loved it! It decided many but I think it’s a creative work with great performances and direction.

The movie is strange, layered and I liked the cinematography. I think it was a little hollywood pretentious and although quite cryptic sometimes a little too overbearing. Can't share a lot without spoiling and really do avoid spoilers for this as they will definitely ruin this movie. Visually a treat, and the actors do their parts. It has intense moments and if you are sensitive or have triggers then be careful. If you appreciate movies like the Sixth Sense, Devil's Advocate or slow burn supernatural thrillers you will like this. To love it you probably have to also support and appreciate the metaphors and subtext. This is very much a product of the Director's own beliefs and causes. That could be good or bad depending on what you bring to the table. It does not answer all the questions posed. It will get you thinking. I think it's always important to support movies that are not Hollywood standard to keep film vibrant. Not for kids or the sensitive. Visually a treat but light in extras.

This is an all-star cast thriller that is sure to please.

An unsettling, extremely intense cinematic experience.

This movie is like a nightmare for introverts, it is a deeply disturbing but extremely unique film that I think should get more attention. Jennifer Lawrence's character is the focus of the film and she plays the part great. Again this movie isn't for everyone but for those who like something different it's well made.

Great movie filled with lots of action packed scenes and suspense

Trippy movie, the kind you watch once and think "I'll never watch that again" but then down the road you can't stop thinking about it and eventually rewatch it. I love Michelle Pfeiffer and really appreciated her turn in this movie - very dark.

I just watched it the other day and what a movie amazing

While it carries echoes of work by provocateurs including David Lynch, Roman Polanski, Lars von Trier and Luis Buñuel, there's nothing like it in terms of overall style and imagery. This is a film completely on its own. Also it looks and sounds great on 4K UHD Blu-ray

I'm a fan of Aronofsky's films. They seem to be getting more abstract. If you go in understanding that this film is mostly symbolic and more of an art house type, you'll be okay. A huge clue will be the end credits. When you see the names of the characters, everything will become much clearer. Will need to be watched more than once.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was a blind buy for me thinking it was part of the horror genre. There is definitely scary elements, but no jump scares. More of a thrill. This movie has a very powerful message. I recommend watching it

I was not sure what to expect, since I had read conflicting reviews, but I really enjoyed it. It is the type of movie that you will want to watch more than once to get a better understanding of it.

You'll either love or hate this movie but nonetheless the picture quality on this 4k transfer is really good; shot on film with a 2k digital intermediate so there is mild grain throughout. Sound was the highlight of this film. Although a musical score was absent all channels were taken advantage of and sound was placed precisely. Definitely recommend if you can take advantage of Dolby Atmos. Go into this picture with no expectations and you might leave optimistically unsettled.

Somewhat underrated movie but I enjoyed it. The ending is almost nightmare inducing. Decent 4k but somewhat dark on certain scenes. Worth it for the sale price

The movie itself without spoilers is unique. Not many movies do what this does and it deserves a watch especially for the price and in 4k format. Take a watch.

Pretty weird and interesting movie. If you like this kind of movie where there’s a bit of room for interpretation, then give this a watch!

Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem head this very chaotic , nightmarish tale that escalates into madness of reality and other worldly. Director driven complicated view of a complex story. Not a common horror tale.
