I bought this to replace the rental equipment Optimum has been overcharging us for. Not listed as approved equipment but the tech over the phone added it in for me without an issue. More then doubled my speed and I am finally getting the 200mbs I am paying for. Anyway very easy to set up. I really had no issues with it. I hope it works for a long time or at least for the amount of months till I get my money back from not paying rental.

This is a great modem router. Super easy to setup and works as advertised. Motorola delivers good quality products.

We decided we are going with Cable One long term for Internet and didn't want to rent anymore. This modem seemed to provide the most for the dollar. So far it out performs the rental in a noticable way. Very pleased with the choice and the performance.

This router has saved me 15.00 per month and it was easy to set up password and username were right on the unit way to go best buy

Previous to purchasing this item, I did not know one needed BOTH a Modem and a Router. Lucky for us, this unit has both of those qualities in one sleek looking unit. I purchased it because of the Motorola brand that I am familiar with and also it's good looks. Note that the indicator lights are smaller than most -- but still easy to see. No bright blinking light-show (like the first modem I bought). It was easy to set up and is running smoothly since install. Highly recommend.

It’s working perfectly, it was a good price, and I haven’t had any speed problems at all. It’s also very user friendly and easy to understand.

Good lord, i hope i am not jinxing myself. So far this modem has worked perfectly for me. A mth before, i had a Netgear, that i ended up taking back to Bestbuy, because it went out during the rain and i had to call netgear to get it to go back on. Instead of helping me, they couldn't stress enough how i needed to by a service package as they could only help me for the first 3 mths. I told them, not a fat chance. That package was over $200, i paid over $200 for that crappy modem. So after a mth of contemplating on what to do, whether to rent from Comcast or buy another moden, i ended up finding this Motorola one and it has been great, even during storms. Sure glad i made this decision. Wish i had before i bought Netgear. Oh, and it was the fastest and easiest set-up.

After hours of researching modems with built in routers it came down to the MG7540 and the MG7550. All the articles I read said the MG7550 was the best quality for the price range but my original budget was $100. I went with the MG7540 because it was slightly cheaper and the modem router has been great, hasn’t let me down once. I have a 100 Mbps service plan and I usually get between 95-105 mbps speeds with this router. With a smart TV, 2 phones, a Nintendo switch, and an iPad all on the same router we get perfect connection on all devices.

Does it job. What else do you want it for moderate price for non-gamers output.

Easy to setup and works well with Comcast to avoid unnecessary rental monthly fees!

Works well with Xfinity, I like the size, easy to install.

Had to upgrade to this model because we still have a landline - needed for work. This was a little more than I wanted to spend, but with the rental costs from Xfinity, it will be essentially free after 10 months. Easy to set up, works great. We are often running multiple phones and laptops on the networks with no issues at all

I purchased this modem/router to replace the router that I was renting from my internet provider. This purchase saved me close to $20.00 a month. This modem/router appears to be working a little better than the one I was renting. I am so thank full that I chose this Motorola. It connects to all my devices and has a strong signal. It's very fast. I would buy another motorola if I needed another modem/router.

Got this as I wanted an all-in-one modem & router. Works great with Spectrum WiFi and haven't had any issues with it to date. My house is 3500 sq ft and I get a good signal from one end to the other!
