I had an older similar Motorola that finally bit the dust. Needed a quick replacement so I went to Best Buy and bought this Motorola cable modem. This is one modem that's approved for use by Comcast. Swapped out my old non-working modem with this one and was up and running in minutes. Setup was really easy. I've been using this modem for wifi for my laptops for a few weeks now and it's working great.

This saved me money on my monthly bill and have had no issues. It works as expected. I would like to note that we have been using this in a 2 bedroom apartment with no issues.

Took 2 minutes to setup. Had so many issues with my internet company modem and found this. Worked flawless and actually better speed it seems. This modem is awesome.

I was looking for a combination router and wifi. The salesman at Best Buy suggested this modem & router by Motorola. It was easy to set up and the performance is excellent.

Got this for my sister in-law she upgraded from century link to comcast. She likes it a lot and the speed is great and easy to hook up she just said wish she would’ve had done it earlier.

Wanted to get out from under the monthly rental charge from Comcast. This was easy to set up and so far works just as good if not better than the standard issue one from Comcast.

I love it because it is easy to hook up I mean set up and it comes on quickly fast I love everything about it if you need one bed to go get it this excellent

This is after a month and half of using it. Setup was super easy with option to keep using current password. So needn't change any config for the connected devices. This is very small compared to the comcast modem it replaced. The speed is somewhat lower than comcast modem if you test but there is no practical downsides. Movies stream smoothly (sometimes 2 on different devices) with bandwidth to spare.... no complaints yet... I never used the ethernet ports... so can't say anything...

Got this to replace a old outdated modem. Increased wifi speed and old modem just couldn't perform. This modem was easy to set up and delivers the max speed that I purchase.

I bought this to replace my Motorola router that I have had for many years. This one was easy to set up and the difference in my internet service was quite noticeable.

This was one of the ones recommended by Cox, it has worked very well in our house. I have been extremely impressed at the speed and signal strength.

Not plug and play for Comcast. You need to call them to register. Works great. I will only by Motorola.

I previously owned an earlier version of this Motorola Surfboard Modem sans Wifi & dual band. This modem/wifi router dual band combo fits my needs exactly. Can separate devices by band either 2.4 or 5 Ghz to eliminate slowing. I live in a 1,600 sq. ft. home and works great throughout. Eliminates the need for 2 devices (Modem & Wifi router) plus I'm not having to lease a unit from the cable company. The old unit still worked but really needed this updated version. Because of the reliability from the prior model it was easy to make the decision to buy this one. Cost savings + efficiency!

Great modem/router, easy setup, be sure to connect to the 5 channel for the fastest speed. Decent price. Had no issues connecting to Xfinity.
