I now get faster internet connection and a stronger wifi signal with my new Mototola-Dual-Band Router with cable modem. It was very easy to set up, the hardest part was getting a hold of the cable company so they could send the setup signal. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Just switched to Xfinity cable and internet. Was tired of renting a modem/router for $13/month. Did my research and this is the perfect solution. Was using a wifi extender with old router/modem and I don't need it with this. Have this on the first level far corner of a 2,700 sq. ft. house and get good internet in all parts of the home. Easy set up and no issues connecting all items to it. Very satisfied with this item.

Didn't want the pay comcast monthly modem rental fee, this works very well for the price i paid. Its a 2 in 1 modem has wifi router built in, wit dual band signal. For light to medium usage would be fine, i don't think its great for gamers. overall im pleased with the purchase.

Replaced a high-end Netgear modem/router that had terrible performance as a router in my large (4000 sf) home. The Motorola modem router has outstanding cable internet performance and extends the wifi signal throughout my home and into my backyard. Very easy to set up and to monitor connections and performance.

Nice cable modem in picking up signal of internet. Good speed. Stays in proper level and does not lose signal.

This item is the easiest to install! I am not tech savvy, that said, the directions included with the product could not have been easier! From the time I removed it from the box to working was perhaps 10 minutes. I had a Motorola product that was still working well after 8+ years- but with the times, I purchased a newer model- I hope it works as well. I am very happy with my purchase. I previously purchased a Netgear product for more money- was not impressed. Customer service is NOT based in the USA- I had to call and try to understand the representative with roosters crowing in the background. (Which is why that product was returned.) Motorola’s customer service is in the USA, another reason I purchased this product. I have not needed customer service but if I did, that was important to me.

Got this to replace my broken wifi router which i used since 2009. The new router is far better than the one it replace. Easy to install, fast and accommodates 3 tv, tablets, several celfons and security cams. I couldn't wait for the spectrum technician to fix the new router so i set it up myself and just called the spectrum helpdesk who helped me get it connected.

As a replacement for my Comcast modem, I decided to get this modem. I notice a significant improvement in speed, connectivity and performance when compared to my Comcast modem. So far, I have connected multiple devices without any issues and it works great. You should consider purchasing a modem rather than renting one. In the long run, you'll save money.

So much better than using the one provided by the internet company.

Decided to buy this instead of renting out Xfinitys router modem and I am glad I did. Not only did I get a better router than they would have offered, my bill will be 13$ cheaper each month without having to pay to rent their equipment. It will have paid for itself in just over a year. It was a no brainer to me. It was very simple to setup and I have had no issues whatsoever.

This might be the easiest set-up I've ever done. Being an old-school nerd girl, I was expecting to have to log into the panel and mess with settings and values for awhile before getting everything up and running. Not the case. Approved by Comcast, XFinity, and many others. My house is spread out over several rooms on one level and I don't need a mesh or any other adapters to get full-tilt strength in every room.

I originally purchased a ARRIs 1600 Surfboard modem router. After giving it a test run, I noticed a few quirks that I was not happy with. The Arris ran super hot. I also experienced a large frequency of lagging and buffering issues. Returned the Arris and got the Motorola 7550 modem/ router. What an improvement. The Motorola unit has 16 X 4 channel mode, significantly reducing lag time and buffering. Very easy to install. Was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Just called Comcast, to activate my service and was up and running in no time. The price was very fair. Another plus factor, this unit has a 2 year mfg warranty. Pretty impressive.

I just got this router and modem to replace an old Belkin router that went out on me. It works great, the upload and download speed flies as it should with my ISP plan. I haven’t had any problems with dropping connection or it buffering while streaming. Pleased with this purchase and do recommend this product as it comes as a combo so you don’t have to buy separate router and modem.

I'm usually a linksys guy but have read so much about new Motorola products that I thought I'd give the Motorola - Wireless-ac1900 Dual-band Wi-fi Router . I's been a month and I've had no problems. Super easy to set up , great wifi speed and range. I have a laptop and a desktop wired directly, plus 2 Amazon Dot's running and I have no degradation in speed or connectivity.

Have used for a month now. Great thru-put and good range on WiFi. No issues as a cable modem. Haven't had to reset the unit once yet.

Easy to set up. We get signal throughout the house. It’s worked reliably so far. Fair pricing.

Speed is great as well as range. When setting it up with my Spectrum service their system thought it was a Zoom branded model and not compatible with the service. Wish there was an app to manage the router. Had issues with it accepting the password I had created when connecting some mobile devices.

For those who want to save the monthly cost of renting a cable modem from an ISP, this is just the product. Priced right, it'll pay for itself in a year. Add a ethernet switch for more hardwiring options or get yourself a mesh router to spread the signal wirelessly thru your home.

After good past experiences with Motorola I picked the 7550 Combo modem/router over Netgear to replace my rented Xfinity unit. Installed via Comcast Website and was up and running in 5 minutes. Works great. Xfinity unit was always dropping connections - this one does not. Wireless speed has been terrific and printers, IPADS, iPhones and TV all connected seamlessly. I would buy again.
