So far so good. It has not yet crashed, such that it needs to be re-set. I have found it to be no faster than my old one from Xfinity when running a speed test though. I was hoping for a bump up in my HSIA speed. I feel good about not shelling out $11/month to rent one from Xfinity any more. It should pay for itself in 16 months.

Definitely helped support the internet connection.

Bought to replace Xfinity gateway. Good alternative, easy to install and update. Only thing is the cooling system on this isn't great so overheating can be a slight issue.

Guy at the Best Buy helped us choose this product after the Netgear we had broke and after the Netgear support line was probably the worst so have ever dealt with. Motorola has exceeded expectations.

This was bought to replace a rented router/modem from our cable provider. Theresa, the BB Sales associate asked me a few questions about our usage, pointed out features/benefits of this model. ALWAYS polite professional service at Best Buy.

I used this modem for a bit over a year, and then it just died. I work from home, so I had to run out and buy another modem to replace it in the middle of the night.

If you are setting up w xfinity and the signal isn’t connecting to the router hit the reset button! Saved me a visit from tech support.

I was renting Comcast's box and decided to use my own. Geek Squad came out and put it in for me and told me what I needed to know. Fixed everything for me that was associated with my WiFi. It will pay for itself in no time.

I bought this router/ modem combo because I considered Motorola to be among the brands that I was familiar with and didn't want to keep renting from the cable company anymore . It works fine but honestly, I wish I had purchased another brand because this one is a bit on the slow side.

Have had this router/modem for a week. Provides substantial power for all my needs. Only con is that it has to be re-booted occasionally; otherwise, I am very satisfied with it.

I purchased this so I don't have to pay extra for a dual modem with Xfinity. I've been having the modem for a few weeks and I'm loving it. No issues with easy setup too.

I would not bother with the older WiFi 5 products. I recently purchased an Orbi and it is so much faster than this product...I could not believe the speed test difference (and we have not changed our ISP plan!) I had to run it a few more times to be convinced. No more buffering issues with our streaming services and multiple devices are handled with ease with the Orbi. Yes, the Orbi costs more but the performance is just incredible.

I have been paying monthly rent for over 5 years. My life has become easy by buying this compatible router which will pay off the investment in a year.

I thought that this was the best router based in the reviews however after installing the signal is not very strong. I guess it depends on the number of walls in your house but I will definitely need some additional equipment to get full coverage in my home.

This equipment in my house did not exceed 240 mbps in download speed. It has been the worst router I have ever bought in my life. Really very slow internet very mediocre its only advantage is that it is easy to install. Motorola customer service is terrible. I do not recommend buying because you will have to buy another when you upgrade your internet speed at home and for performance. This is completely false, please, they must change the advertising because this is not true.

I had a Motorola modem for couple of years and it started dropping wifi a lot. I first blamed cox but they somehow checked clear at least for couple of days. I decided to purchase a new modem which worked well for about a month then it started dropping wifi. Now it drops wifi every two minutes, I did set the clock and it does drop wifi every 2 minutes. I am out of rerurn window means I am either stack with a scrap or try to fight motorola for a replacement. I am dissapointed

Did not set up as easily as instructions said it should. Could never get connection with Xfinity online setup. Got it setup without the online connection and it works fine. Don’t let frustrating setup stop you from considering this modem.

Purchased for my older parents and they were able to get it up and going in no time. Additionally, it is optimized for infinity (Comcast) internet and my parents immediately saw a difference in their streaming speeds.
