Bought this to stick it to Xfinity and their ridiculous rental fees. It has give my speeds some additional juice as well!

We had bought a cheaper modem thinking it would work, buy were we wrong. Exchanged it for this one which was a little more expensive, but oh so worth it.

I haven't had any issues with the product and it'll knock $14 / month off my cable bill.

its a decent router/ modem combo for the price, however the upload speed can realistically only hit sub 600 mbps

I have always used my own router and moderm. If you dont want to pay extra $7 just get one of your own. You can always move with it

We bought this to use with infinity. It was suggested we buy one instead of pay a monthly rental fee. We have good reception throughout the whole house.

Simple setup with directions on how to maintain old settings and passwords so all devices are set to go once Cable Modem Router is activated.

This was the latest modem I kept it seems a bit cheap as well but it works I’m getting the speeds I’m paying for and the ping is low much needed for gaming online

Drove to the store showed phone invoice. The lady called it in somebody brought it to her. Gave it to her she gave it to Me! On My way.

Speeds get bottlenecked. Even with all of the firewalls down the channels are inconsistent. I love the easy access for settings but just not impressed.

We have used Motorola for roughly 5 years. Comcast charges too much for their equipment so we just buy our own.

Purchased to replace a Zoom modem (which died after about 5 years) and a Linksys EA7300 router (which was only about two years old but did not play nicely with Roku while streaming SlingTV - crashes because very commonplace). This Motorola mg7550 has considerably less signal penetration and strength compared to the Linksys it replaces. But most importantly, when you try to enable parental controls, the download speed drops to <1Mbps!! And that is for ALL devices, not just the ones under parental control. A phone call to Motorola tech support resulted in being placed on hold. Ten minutes later a recording stated that my call would be answered in approximately 60 minutes. I wasn't sure I had heard it correctly, so I continued to hold. Approximately 5 minutes later another recording stated that my call would be answered in approximately 75 minutes. This time I knew that i heard it correctly, so I hung up! I called back a few hours later, and the wait time was 85 minutes. I went to the Motorola web site and sent an email explaining the problem. Two days later i finally got a response which stated, "Engineering is aware of the issue and is looking into it. With covid happening we have to time frame for a fix." I really find this unacceptable, and I'm probably just going to return it. I'm not sure when this model first came on the market, but i'm sure it has been long enough for them to identify and fix this issue.

Was nervous I wouldn’t be able to figure it out. Website walked me right through it and poof...no more paying to rent one!

Much more functional and stable than the router that came with spectrum

I wasn`t sure on what modem I needed ,your salesman was very knowledge in what I need and showed me the rite modem.

Definitely saw a great increase in our WiFi speed and easy to use!

Did not get used as it turned out my old one just needed a reset but service was great!!!
