Smaller, but stronger than cable's router/modem

New to cutting cord. Had cable giant's box. It was nice. Hate the bill to rent. Bought this, which was the cost of one year of monthly fees to cable. It was smaller than the box from cable. I was concerned. Plugged it in, configured, and now ALL our devices stream with no problems and coverage extends to the backyard and garage. The big cable box didn't do that. Love this thing.

Setup was easy. Just connected the coax cable, worked through the basic setup instructions included in the booklet, and I was good to go.
The good:
Excellent little router. We can connect up to 10 devices pretty easily without any noticeable decrease in speed. This is including 1 ethernet connection. Speed is excellent (or rather, it hits the upper limit from my provider, which is 100 mbps).
The bad:
Nothing.
The ugly:
Every once in a while -I'd say maybe once or twice a week, the wifi just dies. Usually the router auo-restarts and fixes it, so we don't really see an issue - at most, we have to wait through about 30s of buffering. But sometimes, it does not restart, so I have to restart the gateway through my provider. Fortunately, there is an app for that (TM) so it takes about 2 minutes, but it would be a hassle if one had to go directly to the ISP to do this.

I bought this modem combination router to use with Cox cable so far is awesome. Easy set up. Power full. I think the lower price one would work as well but. Was not in stock. So I got this one. N not disappointed it go up to 600mbp I'm sign up for 100. N I'm I'm getting 110 best thing is not paying to rent Cox modem. Bad is Cox has limited data n u get charge if u go over but that's a Cox thing not Motorola thing

One of my best purchases! Made a call to Comcast service, unplugged my rental cable modem and connected this one and it worked. It has been working for two weeks without any problem.

Works really well. Normally we use Netgear but decided to switch. The store associate recommended this one and we are happy. Haven't had any issues so far with wifi dropping.

Best router/modem I have ever bought. Never thought I’d say that about a Motorola product. Haha. Didn’t even know they still made stuff but it was super easy to set up and had a huge range. Don’t even use my extenders anymore. Also the homepage for setup was super easy to understand and set up custom passwords and parameters.

Set up was a cinch. My home office supports two full-time computer users with smartphones and tablets and cable TV. Connect signal is stronger with the Motorola AC 1900. My upload speeds are the same as my old NetGear AC 1600 but the download speeds are WAY faster with the Motorola router (10 Mbps versus 50 Mbps). Samsung wireless TV downstairs is faster now with the Motorola router, too.

There are a few different modem, but this me worked best for my home. It’s more affordable than the other ones on the market. This works good on homes for up to 5500 sq ft. I don’t know how the connection would be for bigger home. But I was tired of paying monthly fees to the company for rental fees. This will pay for itself after 8 months. Saves you money in the long run.

This replaced our 12 year old Motorola modem router combo. No more getting kicked offline! The set-up was easy and resembles our old unit. I am happy with it’s performance so far. I have been able to stay connected to my work and I am sure Comcast is happy that we are not calling every week to reset the modem. Very happy with this product.

Had to replace an old modem plus a router. Was having to constantly re-boot. With this Combo Modem-Router, I never have to re-boot. I get much stronger and faster speeds and works solidly throughout my apartment. No need for signal extenders as I was also using.

We needed a router-modem like the Motorola MG7550 with its switch to turn off the powerful 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi signals at night.
It seems many other router-modems nowadays (especially those from the cable company) have no switches and leave the WiFi on 24/7. But our home's only "central" room for placing the router-modem required it to be just four feet from our heads while sleeping--and we didn't want the WiFi microwave signals blasting us all night, every night.
We had no need for internet phone service so lack of a VoIP phone jack in the router-modem didn't matter. Otherwise this unit does the job very well for streaming video to an Apple TV box in another room as well as whole-house WiFi during the hours we want that on. The wired ethernet ports operate at all hours and at download speeds we've found are 15% faster than Spectrum's promised internet speed.
The Motorola MG7550 was easy to install (very clearly-written instructions) and I had it up and running in about four minutes.
Time will tell how well this router-modem holds up but for a nominal amount we bought an extended warranty through Best Buy just in case.

My previous Motorola modem/router plus a network extender was still working very well but I needed to upgrade my network to 802.11ac to watch Hulu. The new modem/router was easy to set up and provides a strong signal throughout the house so I don't even need a network extender. I'm very happy with it.

Very ease to connect and great price. Best Buy honored the price match. The connection to my cable company was superfast and with 4 Ethernet and even a phone connection I don't need more. Some time we have 6 equipment connected and no problems with the speed.
