Needed a cable modem to switch Comcast. This one works great and is easy to setup as well as I can have a passcode that makes sense.

My Comcast modem/router died during the virus pandemic & of course Comcast closed all their stores. Soonest I could get it replaced was about a week. I was so happy that Best Buy was open & close by. Drove straight over there, a nice young man brought me this comparable device to my car & I was on my way. I couldn't believe how easy this was to set up! Within minutes I was back up & running. And reusing the same strong password I had before, I did not have to set all my electronic devices up one by one. Another bonus is I got to get rid of my modem rental fee!

I give this product 5 Stars - but I give Xfinity 0 Stars. They intentionally will tell you that this product isn't compatible with their network despite the fact that they placed their own brand mark on the front of the product AND list it as a compatible product on their website. When you call Xfinity to register your product, if they pushback, hang up and call again. It works with Xfinity without issue. Blazing fast and works with max. devices connected.

I wanted something to replace the Spectrum provided equipment. I was paying for 100mpbs and testing around 9; as soon as I hooked this up my range expanded and I was testing around 94! For somebody who isn't super tech-savy I couldn't ask for anything better.

Very good speed and signal strength for a 3/2 apartment. So far using almost 3 devices per person (5) and no issues. Comcast configuration was almost plug and play. Renaming networks is as easy as can be using a web-based admin menu.

This is my second one, I replaced it thinking it was the modem but it looks like its my internet service. I kept this one because it showed little more speed compared to the first one I bough which is 4 year old but still perform very good.

This combo unit will pay for itself around a year, compared to high dollar renting from the cable company. Motorola may not have the greatest cell phones but they make a great modem/router combo. High speed, offers 2.4 and 5G coverage for all your indoor and outdoor needs. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for a replacement for Spectrum's to save me money in the long run and have a better internet connection. A knowledgeable friend has this one and is very pleased with it. I believe the connection is better and I'm saving $15/mo. not using their device.

After dealing with the Spectrum modem for four years at $5/mo. Total paid to them...$240...And getting a weak WIFI signal and constant buffering. I researched Modem/Router combinations... and this model came up as one of the best. I purchased it for Half what I paid, (and never owned) to Spectrum. A great decision...as it runs circles around the Arris model I previously had. I Highly Recommend!

This Motorola AC1900 router was truly a plug and play installation. One of the uses was to receive directv programming and create a local wi-fi. It worked well and seems very reliable, Only down side - it doesn't have a phone jack if you are using a cable service for land line telephone.

Glad I bought this MG7550. It’s the best looking Modem-Router combo. Things that I really like are: It boots in about 30-45 seconds, it has a On-Off power button, a WPS button and WLAN button to turn wi-fi on or off. Speeds using my current ISP are 220 Mbps download and 12 Mbps Upload. Excellent Modem-Router.
