Pleasantly surprised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to setup. Switched away from older netgear, trying out Motorola and I was impressed. Straight forward setup, Ethernet cable provided along with cable management Velcro. I pay for 250 mbps and am pulling all of that, even a little more at times.

Worth the money

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. We upgraded amidst the pandemic. Two teachers teaching live online and our own three kids doing online school, all at the same time, and this modem/router hasn’t hiccuped once in the 8+ months we’ve been using it. Housed on main floor, works great in basement and top floor.

Easier than Comcast's
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Comcast modem/router died during the virus pandemic & of course Comcast closed all their stores. Soonest I could get it replaced was about a week. I was so happy that Best Buy was open & close by. Drove straight over there, a nice young man brought me this comparable device to my car & I was on my way. I couldn't believe how easy this was to set up! Within minutes I was back up & running. And reusing the same strong password I had before, I did not have to set all my electronic devices up one by one. Another bonus is I got to get rid of my modem rental fee!

Happy with my purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cut the cord and new to streaming but this was very easy to set up. One phone call to Spectrum to get the signal and I was good to go. Pleased with the speed, I have two streaming tv's, laptop, tablet and phone that I use with the Wi-Fi.

So far, so good.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give this product 5 Stars - but I give Xfinity 0 Stars. They intentionally will tell you that this product isn't compatible with their network despite the fact that they placed their own brand mark on the front of the product AND list it as a compatible product on their website. When you call Xfinity to register your product, if they pushback, hang up and call again. It works with Xfinity without issue. Blazing fast and works with max. devices connected.

Buy it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted something to replace the Spectrum provided equipment. I was paying for 100mpbs and testing around 9; as soon as I hooked this up my range expanded and I was testing around 94! For somebody who isn't super tech-savy I couldn't ask for anything better.

Great value and quality very easy-to-use.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good speed and signal strength for a 3/2 apartment. So far using almost 3 devices per person (5) and no issues. Comcast configuration was almost plug and play. Renaming networks is as easy as can be using a web-based admin menu.

Good Router!

Liked that this also includes wifi as our old one did. Easy to set up and signal reaches thru the house without the need for extenders. Like that too! Our Nest cameras, computer and phones hooked in super easy. I highly recommend this product.

Great option for high speed service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This combo unit will pay for itself around a year, compared to high dollar renting from the cable company. Motorola may not have the greatest cell phones but they make a great modem/router combo. High speed, offers 2.4 and 5G coverage for all your indoor and outdoor needs. Would definitely recommend.

Works well. Good wifi range.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son had some issues with some of his pc games lagging ( we have a 600 mbps plan ) so after so many months we figured it was the Router/Modem. I went to replace with an Arris Modem that gave us nothing but problems. Out of frustration I hooked this modem back up and had our provider do a remote reset. It works great again. It does have 4 ports but I bought a Netgear ethernet switch and it works perfect with this Motorola. The wifi has good range also for our 2900 sq ft 2 story. We have this in the upstairs and it does a good job of blanketing our home in wifi. I did have one go bad during the 2 year warranty period and Motorola was excellent at getting us a replacement.

This is better than the router/modem from Spectrum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a replacement for Spectrum's to save me money in the long run and have a better internet connection. A knowledgeable friend has this one and is very pleased with it. I believe the connection is better and I'm saving $15/mo. not using their device.

Router rating
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Motorola AC1900 router was truly a plug and play installation. One of the uses was to receive directv programming and create a local wi-fi. It worked well and seems very reliable, Only down side - it doesn't have a phone jack if you are using a cable service for land line telephone.

Great reception.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to replace my 10 year Motorola unit as it was losing signal. New unit works great, pulling full signal and supports two tv's, 3'tablets and 2 smartphones with no lag or slowing signal strength. I do recommend it.
