This phone has really good features and a tutorial that keeps making me aware of more great features. The size was longer than my last phone (an LG) but I got used to it. I also purchased the warranty and case on the Motorola website to be sure to get the same good quality.

Don't buy, you can't turn 5G on anymore!

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As of the Android 12 update, the "Preferred Network Type" setting is missing on the phone, and that's where you set your phone to use 5G. You can of course also set it to 4G, LTE or what have you, which I was able to do easily when I first bought the phone in Oct 2021 and when it was running Android 11. At the update to Android 12, the setting just disappeared. The new path to Preferred Network Type in Android 12 was supposed to be Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs > Preferred Network Type, but it's completely missing from the phone. This is ENTIRELY on Motorola's part, and unfortunately I've discovered other Motorola phones also either have Preferred Network Type missing, or they have the setting but there is no 5G option available anymore. (Please note that you do have to go out to Settings > Network & Internet > Internet > tap the name of your provider > toggle "Allow 5G" first to enable 5G, but that's just the first step. The second step is to go to Preferred Network Type and select 5G, but since it's missing, you can't do it.) I've been trying to get Motorola to take this seriously but to no avail. I paid a LOT for this phone and now Motorola's mistake means I can't get 5G anymore, and their forums are so unhelpful that I believe they're deliberately keeping all of us hanging instead of actually fixing the problem. I'd been a Motorola die-hard user since my first smartphone, a Droid Razr Maxx over a decade ago, but I will not be buying Motorola again. I don't want anyone to buy this one now, either, it's being advertised as 5G but you may not be able to get to 5G at all, thanks to this missing setting.

With a silicon case I have no concerns the back is plastic and not glass. I would wait to purchase for $400.00 or under like I did. At $699.00 or 599.00 Other phones may be a better Value.
