Excellent Phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always had two phone, one for work and one personal. Always preferred to keep them separate. But I recently lost my work phone and decided to try putting all on one phone. Go this for the dual SIM feature and also for its specs and the fact that Motorola says they don't include bloatware. My work place did get me a new SIM replacement and I converted my person line to an eSIM. Everything works great! The phone does allow separate work and personal profiles and nicely identifies the separate profiles and lines when using the phone. Also love that this phone has 512GB storage, so no worries there. The size of the phone is good, the same as my previous personal phone. Battery life has been great. Even with heavy use (videos and games) it lasts a whole day for me. With normal use with email and using apps as needed, I can pretty much make it through 2 to 2.5 days. Performance is great with no issues or lagging with anything I normally use. Phone calls are great, nice and clear, and no issues with signal reception. Sound direct from the phone speakers is good, and with bluetooth it is awsome (if you have good earphones of course). I has aptX Adaptive which sounds just awsome! Wi-Fi 6 is working great, the display and cameras are awsome as well. And the price is good for all you get. This phone replaced a OnePlus 9 Pro 5G on T-Mobile (personal) and an LG v30 on Verizon (work). I have no issues at all connecting to either service. Very happy with this phone.

Motorola's Return To Form
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, ive spent a couple days with it now, and I'm a believer. Ive always been a fan of motorola phones, especially considering that they offer phones in all price brackets. They've always done the job in a pinch. But what I've always been more invested in is what they could do in the flagship space. I owned the 2020 edge and the 2021 edge, too. While they were good phones in their own right, they just couldn't stand up to the competition in their price bracket feature-set wise. This years 2023 Edge+ is the result of never giving up on trying to improve. This year's phone changes the game up completely. They didnt settle on processing power this year, they put the 8 gen 2 in this thing and if you've seen the benchmarks, you know this chip has been ripping up the performace charts. Its an absolute monster. It's also an incredibly power effencient chip. Battery life on this Edge+ is phenomenal. I've been on this thing all day and Im only down to 70%. Camera performance has always lagged behind but this year's camera is quite good. I actually did test drive the S23 Ultra as well and Im suprised how well this thing holds it's own. I cant confidently say its "better" but Motorola's processing had actually been fantastic with this sensor. Samsung has it's own issues with it's camera software. Indoor shots were pretty unusuable of my 3 year old. I do miss the 10x telephoto zoom but the sensor is so inferior to the main sensor that shots are only usuable in great lighting conditions. Again, I'm not saying that Motorola has the better camera. Thats not accurate. But it's the closest its ever been to other flagship devices. And the double twist to open the camera app is so great to have. Especially with a 3 year old. Capuring the moment quickly is as inportant as the camera itself. I've always loved Motos gestures. The double chop flashlight motion is another thing I've missed dearly. The screen is beautiful. 165hz OLED. Its not as punchy as Samsung's panel but it's so darn hard to tone down Samsung's AMOLED sometimes that I actually prefer this panel on the Moto. We'll see if Moto keeps its promise with security updates. I sure hope they do. All of this is coupled together for $800. Probably cheaper sooner than later. I have seen the s23 Ultra go on sale for as low as $970. Thats still almost $200 more than the Moto, with the same 8 gen 2. Its up to you to determine if that's worth it to you or not. I'm excited that this years flagship outing is so competitive. It's makes me happy and hopeful for their future. I'm sick of the endless Apple, Samsung, Pixel rotations. The market is so stale these days, it's nice to have choices.

Moto Edge+ 512GB 2023 - Excellent!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used the Moto Edge+ 512GB 2023 for about a week now and fortunately have nothing to say, but good things! Processing power is stellar, and applications load practically instantaneously. The screen is great and shows no appreciable lag. As expected from Moto, the basic software is essentially clean Android, but some of the Moto-specific features (e. g. turn on flash light by shaking phone, etc.) work very well and are useful. The fingerprint scanner has worked perfectly well. Network reception (T-Mobile) is great for me, and voice quality is also very good. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have worked flawlessly since the phone was initieally set up. The front and rear cameras produce very good images. The front camera is particularly impressive, and I love the macro abilities of the rear camera, which I use more than zoom. I don't necessarily enjoy the curved screen edges, but that's absolutely not a problem. For the price and processor you get, it's difficult to find a smartphone with 512GB of built-in memory (i. e. you can practically forget the need for external storage). Finally, with a battery this size (>5000 mAh) and moderate use (i. e. phone calls, browsing, various personal and work active email accounts), I'd venture to say that I can get two days of battery life from a single charge, which I find outstanding. I am very excited to see Motorola bring back high-end smartphones to the USA market, particularly this level of features at this price point. As with most other things, it's always good to various good options available.

Solid phone. Motorola is back!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Motorola has finally produced a true flagship again. Having been a big fan back in the day, it's great to see them back in the game after years of mediocrity. I must say this is one of the fastest phones out there, right up there with the more expensive S23 Ultra, and much faster than the Pixel 7 Pro. PROS: +Clean, near stock Android UI with useful add-ons +Efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and UFS 4.0 +165 hz display is very smooth and vibrant +5100 mAh battery lasts incredibly long +Solid build quality, metal frame, Gorilla Glass Victus +Extremely comfortable to hold +Back panel is fingerprint resistant +Pricing is competitive CONS: -The curved display is more sloped than the S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro and is somewhat distracting. -8 GB of RAM seems a bit light considering the European model has 12 GB RAM -A true Always On Display would be a nice option -Cameras are inferior to the S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro -Few cases available Overall, I'd give this phone a 4.5. It offers a similar UI experience to the Pixel 7 Pro, but with the superior speed and efficiency of the better chipset and UFS 4.0. If having the best camera is your top priority, look elsewhere. If you're looking for the fastest phone with the longest battery life, this phone is a winner.

Great...for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the Edge+ 2023 for a little over a week. I upgraded from a Moto Play 2021. I've seen some reviews where people say they don't like the curved screen. I love it! The curve design in my opinion make it easier to hold. The screen is crisp and clear. Streaming is a dream. Picture looks great, the speakers and microphone are loud and clear. I always love the little perks of Moto phones. Two shakes and the flashlight comes on. You can customize it to your liking. Two taps of the power button the camera comes on. You can see messages and notifications from the lock screen. I'm sure I'll discover more as I get into the Moto app. Charges quickly and the battery is long lasting! Now to the Cons it seems a bit buggy it didn't recognize my finger print the other day and wouldn't open some apps right off the charger in the morning. I had to restart the phone. It hasn't done that since. Sometimes the assistant doesn't pop up when I say "Hey Google!" I'm forced to go to settings. One of the customizable options I picked tapping the back to stop music sometimes doesn't work. Also the auto rotate is slow. I've only had this phone a little over a week so I'm a bit worried. If you care about these types of things I'd say avoid. I got this phone Open Box Excellent it was very cheap for a brand new phone so I'm fine with some of the Cons. This phone is perfectly serviceable. Has a Beautiful big screen and tons of storage for that it's worth what I paid!

Great Moto Offering
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a Motorola customer for years. This is definitely their best offering since the original Razr. First, I like the near pure Android without the UI overlay like other top brand phones. Camera is solid, display is bright and clear, and the speed is excellent. I highly recommend a quality case and a tpu screen protector. The phone is thin and slick to hold on to. Pros: 512 gb memory 8 gb ram Clear display Fast Qualcomm 8gen2 chip Great battery life Moto Gestures Little UI overlay Great Price for the features. (I bought a Best Buy open box for even more savings.) Cons: Curved display reflections (still getting used to). Hard to find screen protectors for a curved display. I recommend a tpu for fitment and ease of installing. I'm used to tempered glass screen protectors which are all but non existent for this phone.

Great high-end phone to recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll start with the dislikes. There is no headphone jack, no micro SD card for expandable memory, no no Quad HD display, no IR blaster. It is petty for the most part. What I like is the curve display, a 1080p OLED display is beautiful, the display's 165hz is silky smooth when in use, 512GB capacity storage as the only option, 8GB of Ram work the option of expanding it to 10GB of Ram using Motorola software. Android software is mostly stock with Motorola's with useful added features to compliment the stock software. The price is great for this phone. I bought it from Best Buy in excellent condition for just over $500. The retail price at the time of its release was $800. The phone looks new and great to use. Photos and videos from these cameras produces high quality images and video. Battery life is great for the day. Phone is also dust and water resistant. I recommend this phone for high performance and features at a great price.

Posted .It's fantastic to hear your thorough assessment of the phone, Israel. While it's unfortunate that some features like the headphone jack and expandable memory are missing, it sounds like the positives far outweigh the negatives. The curved OLED display, smooth 165Hz refresh rate, ample storage capacity, and expandable RAM options all contribute to an excellent user experience. Plus, getting it at such a discounted price in excellent condition is a steal! Thanks for sharing your insights. It's great to hear you're enjoying the high performance and features of the phone. ||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone for the price, fast, comes with 512GB of storage and 8GB of RAM that you can boost to 16GB in the settings menu. Decent cameras, works with Gemini, has on-screen fingerprint reader, a curved screen and a facial recognition option for unlocking your phone and the battery lasts a full day under heavy use among other great features. Motorola Edge+ 2023 An Excellent Cellphone
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the Motorola Edge+ 2023 for close to 2 yrs. I don't believe in reviewing anything until I am sure I can give a knowledgeable and unbiased opinion. I can truly say that, by far it's the best cell that I have owned and I have owned a few (smile). First, I have not had any problems out of the cell phone. Memory and storage is more than sufficient and it has performed outstanding with over 300+ apps loaded and still is perky as ever, no couch potato by far. The camera is for me, excellent even in low light scenarios. The stereo speakers is about the best I have heard with the exception of a little more bass but hey, whatayou expect it's a cellphone (smile). The included features, well let's just say I'm still exploring! I do it all form my cellphone without hesitation but it's well protected security system installed by me allows for this. Not to say anything is wrong because the cell is kept updated with the security updates. It recently updated to Android 14. The screen clarity is beautiful. Would I recommend this cellphone? ABSOLUTELY! Would I buy it again? YES INDEED! I see a long future left in this one yet though! Well pleased! One final thing. A cellphone is not a toy, it's a professional piece of equipment and it should likewise be handled that way! You take care of it and it will in a sense take care of you! Dollar wise and less problems!

A very, very solid choice in a phone.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start with, I am slightly biased in this phone's favor anyway, as my previous phones of the last few years have also been Motorola so I bought the Edge Plus 2023 being mostly certain I'll like it and 'wanting' to like it -- and I LOVE IT. There is no better choice in a smartphone today than this phone. It is a very, very, very solid choice in a phone even late into 2023, and it will easily be good to go for a few years before ever even needing to entertain the thought of upgrading to something else. The specs on this phone are flagship level, and it has years of updates to rely on. While the cameras and the speed and the fat battery all the other stuff is really amazing, the display is my favorite feature of the phone, as the display is simply gorgeous when utilizing the full gambit of the phone's capabilities; i.e., setting the refresh rate to max 165, adjusting the colors to Saturated instead of Natural, and making use of the phone's ample amount of brightness nits to bump that brightness slider up and make everything look incredible. This display is so clear and bright and vivid and is just absolutely amazing. A phone's display is VERY important to me, and this display fully delivers. In this price range, you may also be considering the Oneplus 11. That is a really nice phone as well and is impressive in its own right. It is competitive with the Edge Plus 2023 and is in the same league, but I do personally feel that the Moto ultimately 'edges' it out. The S23 Ultra is of course the big baddie of modern Android smartphones, but I've had one of those also and you may think I'm exaggerating to say this, but I prefer the Edge Plus 2023 to the S23 Ultra. This may be an unpopular opinion but I just do not think Samsung phones are worth the extreme prices they cost. I couldn't care less about the stylus pen, and I couldn't care less about having a 200 mp camera. The S23 Ultra is just way too gimmicky. You're paying for a lot of really unnecessary stuff in that phone that you won't be using. I also dislike the Samsung software apps. I very greatly prefer Google apps. So anyway, enough of the novel I'm writing. Suffice to say that I love the Motorola Edge Plus 2023 and whole heartedly endorse it. It is an incredible, incredible piece of technology. Finally, a note or two on cases and screen protectors. As for cases, Poetic has nice offerings that work well with this phone, though I recommend using only the Poetic case itself and not the optional built in screen protector which in my opinion sucks. Use a separate screen protector. On that note, curved screens are apparently here to stay, so get used to having to deal with flimsy TPU screen protectors, because tempered glass protectors are never going to work well on curved screens. It takes some patience and more patience, and still a little more patience to learn how to apply these TPU screen protectors well and to understand that it takes a day or two after installation for any little bubbles and such to disappear. Do your research and be patient. You'll get it, maybe not right away, but you'll get it! Again, patience. Repeat that like a mantra. Patience. PATIENCE! (grasshopper)

Motorola Edge+ 2023 Superseded all my xpectations
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Motorola Edge+ 2023 Superseded all of my expectations. The Battery life is incredible, it holds a charge from all day with moderate to heavy use if you include light streaming I got about 15 hours. Then It charges faster than I've ever had before and I only use top of the line phone's, Im talking 15% battery life to 100% full charge in under 20min. The camera is compatible to top shelf phones. The Edge+ 2023 also has so really neat and useful functions. The phone feels good in your hand it's not heavy but also not to light, the screen is great and durable.. volume is superb.. there are just to many things to add.

Big Bang for the buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone for the price... Period. I got this phone for my dad, primarily for the dual SIM unlocked, but turned out be a flagship caliber phone. Great speakers so it helps him with listening to calls. The large screen is crisp and the battery lasted almost 2 day after the first charge. The camera is great. Took a couple of selfies in portrait mode and it was great. The main 50 mp sensor needs more testing and comparison with my pixel 7 pro or my wife's S22. Overall a great buy. Too early to comment on quality or durability. To put it simply - with this 512 gb storage, memory and processor at this price point, you really can go wrong with this one.

Best Phone for the Money...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this for almost a month. It has been brilliantly more stable than the Pixel 6 PRO 512GB that it replaced. I only use about 15% battery during a full hour Zoom call, versus 50% power drain on my previous Pixel 6Pro. I also appreciate the MOTO shake flashlight widget... its like an old friend... I recommend this for anyone who wants a premium phone for a lower price. includes NFC tap to pay which my previous PowerG (even older phone) did not include. Great Speaker audio. QI2 15W charging. good battery times. ( Lasts all day and I charge it overnight.) BIG old onboard memory (512GB) and compatible with eSIM so 2 carriers at one time... awesome BT, WIFI 6, and 5GPLUS service... love it on my Mint Mobile Service.

New Flagship King
||Posted . The phone is unbelievably thin but still holds a 5100 mah battery with wireless charging. The screen is beautiful and smooth. The phone is FAST in every way (charging, refresh rate, processing).. the camera is surprisingly good. I am leaving my s23 ultra for this phone and I have no hesitation at all. Also the UI is really stock but it has a lot of cool extras that make it the funnest phone I have used in a long time. Theres no way you can doubt Motorola in the flagship space anymore..

Amazing phone and hugely underrated!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new Moto flagship is a god send. Got amazing screen quality, superb battery life, to notch performance and suggested UI is surprisingly refreshing. I can go on listing the advantages of this phone but suffice to say this is one heck of a phone from Motorola. Plus the bonus is such nice ergonomics which is totally missing from all the new phones. The UI is simple, productive, and with the right ratio of features to get your pulse going and also making it your unique software experience. I am yet to test some if the other features but for now the areas to improve can be better bass reproduction on sound, more scheduling if accessories like specialty cases, Moto ecosystem, more RAM although 8 GB should be sufficient in most of the use cases, the widgets can be more uniform since noticed some of them doing exactly follow the Material UI language system (some have sharper edges and other rounded), not uniform spacing between the widgets. But all in all this phone is a print charm and I can confidently say in this market if plethora of phones this has unique competitive advantage!!! Ohh yeah software support can be more. Android should make software support at least 4-5 years with security updates 5 years.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first Lenovo/Motorola worth having. The significantly went downhill when Lenovo bought them. This is very good phone. Water resistant, a fairly clean install of android, shake light, twist to turn on camera, good camera, good processor, plenty of storage, a great battery with high watt charger and smart charging technology for overnight charging. I'm not a big fan of the curved edges, it feels a little gimmicky, but it's not bad either. A lot of bang for the buck.

Incredible Phone and Value

This phone (IMO) is better = large screen yet manageable, great quality screen bright etc, large memory 512GB, respectable camera quality/features, "Ready For" feature, software UI smooth with extra USEFUL features, battery life and priced right. Only downside would be lack of accessories (cases, screen and camera lens protectors etc) even when searching Amazon option

Nice upgrade

First was a Supra with 32 GB which was fine as it was inexpensive and did the trick. Went with the Edge + as I was looking for more gigs and a better camera. After a few weeks, I am very pleased with her purchase as it is still less expensive then the competition even though they are all getting discounted as the newer models roll out. Much faster and brighter. The speakers are great, the reception during calls and browsing has been awesome, and watching videos are crisp. Getting a case is rough, with fewer options that are NOT in the store. Motorola case is a great fit, but also purchases a Falcon case which covers over the bevels and over the cameras. Transferring from my old Motorola to the new one was effortless by following the prompts and everything transferred. Battery life so far has been decent. The Supra gave me a bit better life, but inside this phone for work and listen to podcasts, or music all day while. Working and still have enough battery life to get me to bed time. Love the 68 watt charging brick that come with it. I am still able to use the other USB C cords and bricks I have so I can charge in more then one place. Would recommend for someone upgrading from a less expensive phone as you will see a dramatic difference all around. More storage, better photos, faster processing, better connection to wifi and cell towers.
