It's a good phone with excellent battery life and quick charging. I can go close to 4 days without charging this phone (I am not a gamer so battery life could vary). The 165 Hz refresh rate gives this phone premium functionality on a budget device. Motorola created a budget friendly flagship phone that could easily rival and compete with Samsung and Apple if they would just add more years of support and updates for their devices. I definitely recommend this phone.

This phone is truly flagship performance but at $349 it's a bargain. Takes the best photos. Colleagues with iPhones are impressed every day, especially on the macro lens. Very snappy processor and lots of memory/storage.

This is a very good phone. It has good battery life so far (but most phones do when you first get them). I'm not a fan of the curved edges, because it means you can't use a tempered glass protector. It is super responsive and has a beautiful display. The camera is OK. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 5G all work really well too.
It took me a looooong tine to get this phone updated, because it has to download and install each individual update since 2023. However, once I got through all of the updates, I had Android 15. It does have a fair amount of bloatware some of which you can only disable but not remove. I don't need nor want Tik Tok, LinkedIn or YouTube music for example.

A Great value. Excellant display. Fast chip and refresh rate. Tons of storage. Motorola software is very good and doesn't overwhelm Android. Cameras are good. A real flagship at a mid-tier price! Motorola is doing some great things again.

This phone is absolutely incredible. It blew my expectations out of the water. The battery life is absolutely phenomenal coming from Samsung s21, and even under the device doesn't get hot. The only time it gets warm is when it's charging, and the charging is also ridiculously fast. I loved my s21, but this phone just knocks it out of the park. Especially for the price point. The default 512 gigs of storage is also a big plus, it's nice to see a manufacturer doing it without charging you an arm and a leg. The speakers on this device are also phenomenal, fidelity is good even at the highest volume, and they get pretty darn loud. It has all the fastest chips and 5G so it's a very slick and nice phone. But what really seals the deal for me is the software. Besides a couple apps that Motorola downloads by default, it's almost stock Android with a couple upgrades. Something I didn't see mentioned in a lot of reviews that I love is the gestures you can use. I can shake my phone to turn on the flashlight, and it's so useful when you don't want to be sitting there tapping at your screen when it's too bright and blinding you in a dark room. I'm sure there's something I'm missing that I love about this phone, but just in general BUY THIS PHONE. It's absolutely amazing and I'm glad to see motorola back in the game for flagship devices.

So, I want to preface this review by saying, this phone wasn't my first choice. I originally bought the Samsung Galaxy S 23 Ultra. I ended up returning that device because I wasn't happy with all of the Samsung bloatware, as I felt it was bringing the phone down.
The salesman recommended this phone based on what I was looking for, and I was impressed with the specs and price...and I haven't regretted the choice at all!
This is a flagship device that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!
There is ZERO to hate about this phone!
PROS:
-Excellent battery
-Buttery-smooth display
-Snappy performance and speed
-Excellent audio and video quality
-Quick and responsive security features
-Camera quality is sufficient, not perfect.
The cameras, while not the same quality as a Samsung flagship or Apple flagship, produce beautiful (if at times, overly saturated) photos.
Seriously, this phone is amazing! This is the first Motorola phone I have owned since the OG Razr back in the mid-2000s! I LOVE IT!

I came from a Pixel 7 Pro. Below are my thoughts:
Pros:
- Amazing battery. Moto, keep up whatever you do with the battery. I get more than double the battery life on this, than I did on my Pixel 7 Pro. Keep it up! The battery is the best I've used on any device.
- The screen is beautiful.
- Moto features are great.
- Customization is great. much better than the pixel.
- Software is stable. Very few bugs. I only encountered maybe 2 small bugs in the 3 months I've owned this. They were resolved by resetting app preferences. I forget the bugs frankly, they were so minor. It's a much more stable experience than I ever had with the Pixel devices.
- Performance is very snappy.
- The front camera is good quality (much better than pixel 7 pro).
- Rear camera photos are pretty good, but not amazing. (NOT INCLUDING TELEPHOTO. Telephoto is awful. see cons below on the telephoto ).
Cons:
- Please add something for accidental touches on the side of the screen. I've had other curved screens but never had this issue where my pam would activate touches.
- Please improve the swipe to split gesture. It's a great concept but I accidentally activate it all the time.
- Security updates are very slow compared to competitors. If you want to do bi monthly security updates, fine, but please keep your word of bi monthly. And please make it that month's update. I received Nov 2023's security patch in the second week of December 2023. Why not just sent out the December patch?
- Android system updates are very delayed which is disappointing. I heard last year's flagships didn't receive Android 13 until after Android 14 released. That's unacceptable.
- The lack of premium cases and screen protectors is very annoying. Please partner with some companies to make these. Dbrand, Mous, etc. it took me 2 months to find a decent screen protector (look up Gadget Guard). I still haven't found a good premium case.
- The telephoto camera is absolutely awful. This is the worst thing about this device. This phone might as well not even have it. It's a waste. The photos taken at 5x+ zoom aren't even worth taking. It's a blurry mess. In 2023/2024, this is unacceptable for a flagship device.
The telephoto camera quality is the worst thing about this device, hands down.
**TLDR: Great overall phone. Amazing battery. Very stable device. Amazing performance. Poor software support schedule. Abysmal telephoto camera quality. 3/5**

Hi Davidpm410, Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the Moto G Stylus. It's fantastic to hear that you've had such positive experiences with the battery life, beautiful screen, Moto features, customization options, and overall stability of the software. Your insights into the front camera and general performance are also valuable. I totally understand your concerns regarding the cons you've pointed out. Your feedback on accidental touches on the side of the screen, the swipe-to-split gesture, security updates, Android system updates, and the telephoto camera quality are duly noted. Hello Everyone,
I have owned the Motorola Edge + 2023 since July 2023 and find it to be a remarkably great phone. Not much advertising goes into this phone so that is a loss for the folks that do not own this phone. This phone competes with Samsung S23 ultra, S24 ultra, One Plus 11 and One Plus 12. The screen is bright and very crisp, battery life is remarkable, camera is very good and this phone is very fast and responsive. The software on this phone is excellent. It's almost as pure android as a person could find. This phone does update regularly and has since I have owned the phone. I got Android 14 back in January 2024. I believe based on using this Phone that Motorola has gotten much much better in their update policy. This phone has not slowed down at all since I have owned it. I cannot find enough good things to say about this phone. I can go on and on about how great this phone is since i have been using it.

This phone is awesome in every way imaginable. It has a beautiful waterfall curved display that really adds aesthetic appeal to the design. It’s a real powerhouse and can go toe to toe with any other flagship in its class. This device features superb camera’s for your typical point and shoot types, or total control in the pro mode for all you hardcore camera enthusiast. The battery will last you all day and some and, it comes with a 68 watt fast charging brick in the box…. In 2023. This is not a typo people. No hunting and spending more for accessories that should be inclusive. The Moto Edge plus 2023 is a device that Google Pixel lifers need to be concerned about. It’s the real deal. Not saying you care about status but just know that if you pick up this phone, your right at the top of the mobile device food chain. I highly recommend this device to anyone in the market for a new smartphone.

Highly recommend this phone! The edge+ 2023 is the best Android phone I have ever used. I have been an Apple user primarily and unable to fully make the switch to Android. However, this edge+ has made me an Android user. I absolutely love this phone - the 165hz screen is so smooth and beautiful, the cameras are amazing, and the battery life is tremendous as well (and so is the charging speed with the INCLUDED charging brick). All in all, a HIGHLY recommended device.

I've exclusively been using Motorola phones for close to 20 years at this point. I've come to value their quality and the main purchase point being the long battery life of the brand. I feel it's far superior to every other similar product on the market and I go out of my way to use motorola. That being said this phone charges extremely fast. Sometimes it actually shows you the voltage that it's charging at. It floats seamlessly from my previous Motorola phone. The only issue I've had with it at all is after an update the entire phone froze up. It went non-responsive. I thought maybe something had gone wrong with it and I was going to have to return it but I held down all three buttons and it resolved whatever the issue was and I've had no problems with it since then. I don't know if it was because of that update or if there was kind of flaw or what but it hasn't happened after that. It has all the easily accessible features of the previous edge model but a better quality camera. And battery life. It's a lot more difficult to break the sides of the edge on this model as well. That was a problem with previous ones. This one is more durable.

This phone is pretty solid. It replaced a Galaxy S20 5G and the reports on camera issues concerned me but I think the Motorola camera takes better pictures. The Samsung red-shift/over-warming of pictures always bugged me and this device takes closer to the colors I see of the things I'm taking pictures of. Zoom is the same bad as every other Apple/Samsung/LG... device I've used but basic imaging is solid and I don't expect good IQ from digital zooms. I was concerned about significantly lower PPI in the display but it is fine. The only issues I've run into is some noise-gating thing I haven't figured out yet where when using DuoLingo, some of the listening exercises lose the first part to the noisegate the first time I hear them, click again and it comes through (hence I think it is a gating issue). Otherwise, it is fast and reliable. I do wonder how long it will take to get A14 but what is there now works well.

Motorola Edge+ 2023 An Excellent Cellphone

I've had the Motorola Edge+ 2023 for close to 2 yrs. I don't believe in reviewing anything until I am sure I can give a knowledgeable and unbiased opinion.
I can truly say that, by far it's the best cell that I have owned and I have owned a few (smile). First, I have not had any problems out of the cell phone. Memory and storage is more than sufficient and it has performed outstanding with over 300+ apps loaded and still is perky as ever, no couch potato by far. The camera is for me, excellent even in low light scenarios. The stereo speakers is about the best I have heard with the exception of a little more bass but hey, whatayou expect it's a cellphone (smile). The included features, well let's just say I'm still exploring! I do it all form my cellphone without hesitation but it's well protected security system installed by me allows for this. Not to say anything is wrong because the cell is kept updated with the security updates. It recently updated to Android 14. The screen clarity is beautiful. Would I recommend this cellphone? ABSOLUTELY! Would I buy it again? YES INDEED! I see a long future left in this one yet though! Well pleased!
One final thing. A cellphone is not a toy, it's a professional piece of equipment and it should likewise be handled that way! You take care of it and it will in a sense take care of you! Dollar wise and less problems!

This is a good alternative to the more expensive smart phones. I chose this because Samsung was just getting ridiculously priced.
I am not unhappy with the choice.
I believe the phone has everything -except the photo album with editing tools - that I need, more memory, faster response, and without all the Samsung apps that just took up space. The camera is comparable and more user friendly to my Samsung Galaxy S 21 Ultra, The night vision, while not great, is less grainy. I have not tried moon photos with this so I cannot speak to the zoom.
Battery life is excellent. I use this phone a lot and the battery lasts far better than the Samsung.

Nice phone for me. It replaces a 4 year old Moto G7 Power. I like the curved edges and the screen is far better than what I had become accustomed to. I can really tell the difference in sound with the 2 speakers. Cameras are also noticeably better but I have used them that much at this point. For me I really notice the improvement with the 5G capability. The phone also exudes a solid quality feel but feels like it could slip out of your hand easier than some others. Recommend a good case like the one I got from Encased.
I primarily use my phone for calls, texts, surfing the internet and some youtube vids, but no gaming. So far in the first 2 weeks I've got about 6 days use with each charge. I don't know how others would do. From 10 percent of battery left the phone charges fully in about 2 hours.
I'm really pleased with my purchase.
