this cable modem is very easy to set up, and for the price, it is a good deal, the directions are very easy to follow !

Very compact design. I have a comcast internet service and the upload and download speed is consistant with the internet subscription I have.

I've had good luck with Motorola modems in the past. Therefore, I chose to stay with Motorola even though it was a little more money than I was planning to spend. I made the right choice because it has been working well for the year that I've already had it and I expect it will keep working well for the next couple years. I've had no problem with it whatsoever.

I bought this modem for my mom. She was paying $10/month to Comcast to rent one. I got her this and a Linksys mesh router system and it works great. Her speeds are better than the Comcast router and she also has less problems with devices staying connected. Comcast router would always give IP address problems and require restarts. For the price you can’t go wrong with this router. Definitely recommend this product.

After a lot of research I selected the Motorola 8X4 DOCSIS 3 cable modem to replace a 12 year old DOCSIS 2 modem. I use it with Comcast, and it installed without a hitch, and delivers the speed Comcast offers in my area. The main reasons for selecting the Motorola over others is that it has built in lightning protection (a lot of lightning in Florida) and the warranty. So far it has exceeded my expectations.

I hav this and use this with Comcast. And it works well with my Apple Time Capsule. I have spent more money on WiFi stuff than I care to even admit. Not all from Best Buy. I am a Apple Product Fan. Apple products ALWAYS work and are so simple to hook up or connect. I am so done with Windows anything and anything that is not Apple. I have Apples Time Capsule. Far far exceeds any WiFi Router. But this modem has been working great.

I had a modem issued by my cable provider that malfunctioned, customer service said I could purchase one on my own instead of waiting for a tech, so I went blindly to best buy to purchase a modem having no idea what brand or any other clue about a modem, the sales person recommended this model, it was easy to set up & works great! We use 5 smart tvs, 5 smart phones, a laptop & 2 tablets and I feel the Motorola modem improved the internet wifi speed!
