This modem is doing exactly what I needed. Everything has been running smoothly. I have been on a lot of video calls, and I’ve never had any connection issues. The modem maybe feels/looks a little cheap, but it operates well, which is all that matters. It’s nice and compact too. I recommend this modem to anyone looking for something simple and effective.

After due diligence checking other reviews, purchased this item utilizing BB”s price match program for a good price. Setup was quick and easy and was up and running in approximately 20-30 min after contacting internet provider to set up on their end. Have had for approximately 3 weeks and continues to lock all 16 channels down and 4 up. No complaints, highly recommended.

This is an excellent modem. It's small, fast, and reliable. I originally purchased it last year, and it has been going strong ever since. Works great with Xfinity (Comcast), and can be activated online. If you're considering buying this, make sure that you have another router. This one only has one Ethernet port, and no WiFi. My only complaint is that there's no easy way to mount it to the wall or a rack, but since it's so small it's not that big of an issue.

This Motorola modem replaced the cable company modem and saves me about $10 per month rental fee. It worked great right out of the box. All I did was hook it up, called Time Warner (now Spectrum) to activate it, and it has been working fine ever since. I shopped around and I'm very satisfied with the price, performance, good operating temperature, small size, clean design, and it even has a convenient on/off button.

The modem was easy to set up and reasonably priced. It’s performed well and the best part is I don’t have to pay the service provider a rental fee for equipment.

My mother is currently unfamiliar with the required technology needed for todays internet. Bought simply because I am familiar with the brand. Packaged well and very simple to set up. Easily handles/ distributes internet nicely throughout our home. Our provider is Xfinity. Usually in our house there is an Xbox one, a few laptops and/or cellphones actively in use.

Changed 3 different brands until found this Moto to be the best fit in my case for 220MB/sec Comcast Blast! More advanced Gigabit modems were not able to stay connected 24x7x365, this one in up-and-running with no issues.

    Upgraded my DOCSIS modem

My older cable modem was only 8x4 channel bonding capable. If you don't know what that means, it means that on the download frequency that the cable companies use in their cable system for delivering internet data it was only capable of locking on to and combining up to 8 channels. Basically, the more available channels the more reliable and faster (depending on your Internet Service Provider's provisioned speed) internet connection due to wider available bandwidth. For some reason, my old modem was only able to lock on to 4 download frequencies. After I upgraded to this modem, I have 16x4 confirmed channel bonding. Yes, I know this all sounds very geeky but basically think of it this way.... 4 lane highway vs 16 lane highway... when your internet service provider is sending data to you and it has more lanes to pick when traffic gets congested that means less wait time and more reliable data transfer. My ISP is Spectrum and I can confirm that my channel bonding is at 16x4 with this modem. But please note... your connection may vary due to your Internet Service Providers speed and data connection provisioning on your account

We finally got modern internet service! When I went to buy the cable modem I selected based on ratings and price, the Best Buy salesman recommended this one instead because it "plays well" with the Wave service I have here in western WA. The Wave technician agreed when he hooked up the service. A cable modem works best when you don't notice it - solidly functioning in the background. This modem has worked well for us for the month its been in service, even recovering itself after a power outage.

Great Modem - Doubled My Internet Speeds

I was having connectivity issues with the Arris modem supplied by Spectrum/TWC so I decided to get my own. I originally got a Netgear CM500 but it wouldn't connect to Spectrum so I got this. It took about 5 minutes to set up and another 10 minutes on the phone to get it provisioned. I'm getting 100G+ downstream and 12G upstream compared to less than 50GB downstream and 5GB Upstream with the Arris. Connecting the router was a simple 10 minute task as well. Performing better than expected.

I have had this modem about 1 week and so far, it is running great. I use a separate modem and router and it makes my internet load faster. Setup was easy and simple. Phone call to Comcast to register device with them took the longest, but that's expected. Two thumbs up. Make sure you stand it upright and don't lay it on it's side. It has a stand but I tried to lay it on its side and it started to get hot. So I stood it upright and it cooled right down. Just an FYI

    Amazing Modem for 500Mbps Connections

For the price, I haven't found a modem better for my 500Mbps internet connection. This modem has worked without a single crash or lapse in capability since I purchased it back in April of 2017. If you need a great replacement for that cable company's "rent-a-modem", and you plan to have an internet connection of 300Mbps - 600Mbps, you honestly can't go wrong here. For a brief history, before this modem, I used a Motorola DOCSIS 2.0 for years (before technology advanced to DOCSIS 3.0, and when I had lower ISP bandwidth); I never once had issues with that modem either. The user interface is extremely beginner friendly, and the biggest complaint I could make is having to remember a password years after purchase because I simply haven't needed to jump into the modem's interface for years. I don't say it often, but I've come to trust Motorola as my go to modem company now for years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Does the job; works with Time Warner as they recommended it. Setup with them took a call and 10 or 15 mins on the phone, so wasn't as painless as I would have liked, but post-setup, been working fine. I haven't tested the ultimate speed range of the unit, but no reason to believe it doesn't perform as advertised -- I'm using it with a 50M download speed without problem. Buying the modem much better than renting from TWC.
