This worked great for my Oceanic Cable connection. I had no problems with it while I've had it. It was worth the price over paying a modem rental with the cable provider. Then we had to switch to Spectrum. They provided a modem with wifi at no extra charge so this was retired.

Needed new modem for Comcast as old one died after 8 years. Bought it, Brought it home plugged it in, configured with tools provided to get Comcast to recognize new modem, didn't even need to call comcast. The one thing needed to do was reboot attached wireless router to get full speed.

We've only had this item for about a month, but it is working as advertised and given the short ownership period 4 stars is as high as I'm willing to go. Our Arris modem along with the ethernet port on the computer got fried in an electrical storm. The Motorola was chosen based on numerous individual/expert reviews. The speed is still decent though we're running the modem through an adapter to a USB port.

We upgraded an old Motorola SB5100 with this because we were dropping connection frequently. This modem has been up and running for a few months now and has been solid. No issues to report. I almost bought the Arris but it was just too expensive. This isn't a Charter preferred modem, but passes the basic tests to work on their network and is allowed. We had no problems getting this up and running on Charter.

I got a good bargain on this and it is much faster than the service i pay xfinity for so it perfect fit. One good benefit from buying with BestBuy is getting and using reward points. :)

Excellent Modem to upgrade Comcast to highest speeds. Along with my ASUS RT-AC68U Dual Band Router my broadband now Rocks! Today Speedtest.net says it downs at 224 Mbps even with PIA VPN Service in use! I am totally satisfied with this Modem and setup! The WiFi works great also.

I have had 2 Arris modems, after Moto sold off the brand, did not work with the 100 Mbps cable connection even though they were rated for the speed. This modem is really a Zoom modem, which have been good to me since the 14.4 Kbps days of yore. Works good with Suddleblink.

Works great for what I need! I seem to be getting faster speeds than advertised, which is a bonus. I only use internet for email, streaming TV, and general internet purposes (no gaming). Works for me!

Needed to replace an older modem. Since our router was relatively new, did not want a combo unit. Chose this one because of positive ratings and because it's approved by Comcast/Xfinity. Very easy to set up and took just minutes to do. Performance of the modem is very good!

This modem works perfectly for my level of Comcast service (up to 60 Mbps). I consistently get about 40 Mbps and very rarely experience any buffering or other streaming issues. Definitely would recommend for customers in this performance range.

I previously owned SB6141 before and it has never given me any issue. The reason I purchased this newer model is that Comcast said it would end support for the SB6141 by year end. It works right out of the box without any hitch. Glad I bought it. Thanks, Motorola.

Great modem to knock off $10 from your cable bill. I was contemplating getting a separate modem for my internet for a long time until someone told me to check out this modem. I read the reviews and everything I could find on the internet about the reliability and have no regrets. This modem will pay for itself in 8 months. I could have saved $$$$'s if I did this earlier. All you need to do is plug-in the cables from your existing modem and call your cable company with the new MAC address and that's it. So simple so don't procrastinate and waste your money on leasing the cables companies equipment.

This is perfect if you want to skip on renting a modem. Perfect entry level modem.

This is a quality and fast modem. Network is more useful now, replaced older slower modem. I have Comcast and the cost break even point vs renting the Comcast modem is relatively short. Don't know why anyone would not buy their own quality modem and save money doing it!

This modem will pay for itself many times over vs renting from a cable company.

I got this modem to replace an obsolete model. Good price and easy to install. You have to contact your internet provider before setup. I have moderate internet speed and use this with a router that has several items connected.

Bought it to avoid all the leasing fees. Plugged i in and never looked back.

Purchased to replace my rented modem. Works well and is newest technology.
