Been a Motorola modem user for years. Thought we were due for an upgrade. Plugged it in, went through the eazy-peazy configuration and shazam! 100 mb/sec without even blinking an eye (max allowed per our payment plan). Highly recommended!!

There isn’t much that you can do with it.. it’s a modem hook it up and forget about it. Cool thing is it has a button to power it on off that I don’t usually see in modems (easy quick reboot). Nothing wrong after month and a half

I am very happy with this purchase. It works well with Optimum Internet, and save me $10 / month for modern rental from Optimum. It is easy to install. And it has 600 plus cable modern speed, good for most family use.

Quick easy installation and provisioning by Spectrum. Was having intermittent connectivity issues. All gone. Recommend

I purchased this to save the monthly rental fee for the modem I was using with Spectrum. Setup was simple and quick. It has performed excellently since I installed it. It is currently handing game systems, multiple tablets, a phone, printer, and computer systems, with no problems. A very good investment.

I bought the Arris 6183 modem for my Optimum online connection. it worked really well till the time i replaced my old router and installed the new Eero pro wifi system. Arris 6183 is not compatible with Eero. Returned and got the Motorola MB7420 instead. This works like a charm. Giving me similar speeds as the Arris and much much better connectivity as compared to the Optimum modem. I highly recommend it

Seeing a lots of speed issue from my old cable modem. Switch to this modem and speed increase from around 80mbps to 110-120mbps even with WIFI. Prove that the old modem can't get full speed from what my cable company is providing to me. The new modem simply give mew live to my internet speed. All devices in my house are performing lighting fast now. Only con is that initial start up could be slow. Once it is setup, connection is solid so far. Only time will tell....!

Works as expected. Seems to be reliable after using it for a few months. Would recommend to anyone who was looking for this type of modem. Great way to stop having to pay modem rental fees.

The Motorola cable modem MB7420 replaces a 10+ year old Motorola Surfboard Extreme cable modem SB6121 that never quit working but was simply becoming obsolete. I've had excellent luck with the quality and dependability of Motorola cable modems and highly recommend them. This modem is fast, dependable, and I appreciate the on/off button so that the modem is not on 24/7.

For 79$ is worth the try.. specially if you have a 9 years old model like me ... I buy for the free market for 5$ .. serve me for 8 years ... no need to pay $3 to comcast monthly!!!!

This modem is fast, is easy to set up, and works great. It improved both my browsing and download speed.

I've been using this modem for a few months, and ive been running it non-stop. It works and I get my internet speed that I pay for (200mbs down/10 up) I recommend this product.

I picked it just because I was looking for a modern which is compatible with Comcast XFINIIT network. It was very easy for self-instalation and working with no issues!

The modem is very easy to connect to your laptop and/or router. I've had it for two months and there are no complaints. It's more efficient and allows for speeds faster than the modem sent by my ISP. Quick side note: the picture is a little misleading - the device looks completely black, but it is actually dark charcoal gray with black accents.

We got this modem to replace the standard modem provided by the cable company. It outperforms their modem and integrates beautifully with out wireless gateway.

I bought this modem to replace the rented one from Comcast. It was easy to set up with my existing router and activate with Comcast. So, if your looking to save money on those rental fees I highly recommend this modem.

I would definitely recommend anyone with the Blast internet from Comcast buy this and return the Comcast supplies modem. This provides much better speeds.

Bought it as a replacement for my older unit to keep up with the speed. Easy set up and so far works great. Had Motorola before and it's a brand I trust.

I refuse to pay a leasing fee for a modem when you can buy one of choice and higher quality. I prefer a standalone modem to an all in one modem. Buy your modem then choose your wifi router. That way you can specify if you need a beam forming, multiple mimo or meshing/repeater type router. Dont limit yourself to the cheapest thing the cable companies can find.
