Just what I expected in a cable modem. Reasonable packaging. Simple installation. Plugged in modem into the power strip, called cable company and gave them the CM MAC Number on both the box and the modem, moved the coaxial and the ethernet cable and I was up and running. Very easy to do. Speedtests were Download between 89 - 119 mbps and Upload 11.5 and 12 mbps. Very nice.

I tried 2 TP link router/modem combos and both sucked. Internet cut in and out frequently and had to manually restart it. Supper annoying. So far, its only been about 1 month but I haven't had to restart it once and the internet is as fast or a tad faster than what Im paying for through Comcast. I am paring it with an Apple Extreme Router. Excellent combo in my opinion.

Needed a new router and this one met the requirements. Have used it for a while and have had no problems. Price was decent.

Good modem that just works. I had an older Motorola cable modem and replaced it with a combined router & cable modem that was nothing but trouble. Replaced with this new cable modem and it's been running with no problems for weeks with no drops in service.

I was tired of paying $10.00 a month from Comcast to rent their modem. I checked the tech reviews and they mentioned the Motorola cable modem is fast and reliable and they were correct. The modem cost me $90.00 and in 9 months I will be saving money. That is a good return on investment.

Because my prior modem was a Motorola, I had everything hooked up in about 2 minutes. It took a few minutes to get a connection to my internet provider. I think I had to restart my computer and then everything worked fine. Been using for a month and can't be happier. Replaced a DOCSIS 2.0 modem and now getting the full speed of internet service.

Great modem for the price Exelent for high speed internet

I recently upgraded to a 300mbps service from 100mbps. My previous 8x4 modem had me capping out at around 270mbps down. This 16x4 device allows me to get the full 300 (and usually around 350mbps) down that I'm paying for. The one drawback is that the firmware allows you examine but not change protocols like upload and download channel assignments. All assignments have to come directly from your service provider and be "hacked" after they've seen sent to your device.

I normally research products before buying , but I was in a hurry so I relied on the advice of a BB associate in my store . After explaining my needs , she came up with 2 choices for me within my budget . I was back home and hooked up within an hour . This is an upgrade from my previous motorola modem and I am very pleased .

This box is for cable internet. Internet provider must be contacted to setup modem. Motorola modem has provided stable internet connection for over two years. Less expensive modems typically only last a year before having to be restarted constantly. This modem has worked without issues.

It was easy to setup and get going. Now I have the internet speed that I need at home. I have had it for about a month now and have had absolutely no issues.

I bought this modem at the recommendation of the Best Buy staff and it does exactly what I want. I had the lower model version previously and this one seems to allow faster internet.
