Bought to replace 4 year old Motorola modem with 16 channels that was getting a little flaky. Noticeable better performance. Would recommend Motorola modem any day.

Works great. So far no errors, the design is fairly compact and it's delivering our max speed of 600 Mbps.

I have used this modem for about 4 weeks to replace the Arris modem provided to me by RCN. Unlike the prior replacement modem I purchased (and returned), I have had no issues with the Motorola Modem -- the speeds are as fast and the one provided by RCN (but without the monthly fees).

Setting it up was no sweat. Mediacom is a terrible cable internet company. Trying to call them to set it up was put on hold for a long time, then asked me to leave a message for them to call back. I ended up going through the setup with a chat room from the same company. I was up and running in about 10 minutes after given them the MAC address from the modem. All is good.

Great speed. Used to connect to eero 6 wifi mesh system. It all works perfect! Much better than my modem / router combo that I was renting from Suddenlink.

Easy to set up with Comcast service. Very good speeds. only downside is that it doesn't have a built in router for WiFi. Still a very good product and you don't have to pay a rental fee to Comcast.

Easy set-up and and fast internet speeds as advertised. One BIG problem for me (and Xfinity has no idea why) is after completing set-up the Xfinity Stream app on Roku would not work, I kept getting the dreaded, “createDRmSession.403-102” error message. For this error message Xfinity has no clue why and no know fix...I spent 1 1/2 hour on the phone with customer service answering the same questions and doing the same reset, reboot, remove and reinstall routines over and over with four different representatives including one engineer. I finally ended the call in frustration. If you find this hard to believe, search Mr Google on the above error message you’ll see many posts. After thinking about what changed to cause this problem, I removed my new Motorola MB7621 and reinstalled my old Motorola SB6120 and Xfinity Stream on Roku worked just fine. My advise, if you use Xfinity Stream on Roku like I do (three TVs using this mode), avoid getting involved (purchasing) this model modem. I have been a satisfied Motorola customer for many year with several different models, I feel they make an excellent products. In this particular case I think the problem is with Xfinity but they have yet to figure out the glitch in their Xfinity StreamBETA app.

Easy to program. Haven't given me a problem since I purchased it.and it has a on/off button on the back really helpful because you don't have to unplug the modem if you need to reboot it.

We are in the process of cutting the cord from our satellite provider and bought the cable modem to keep from paying rent to the cable company. I already had a router and a range extender so I bought this modem without wireless connectivity included. I hooked everything up last week and it is working very well! Of course, I had DSL internet before so moving to cable internet improved the speed and performance. Loving it so far!

I swapped this cable modem for a much older modem I owned. My speeds quadrupled up to the maximum speeds I'm paying for. The swap was a breeze....simply plug it in and add the MAC address as prompted by a Spectrum pop up window on your phone. I never had to speak to an agent and I was done in under 5 minutes after the automated updates. This is an approved cable modem for Charter/Spectrum. Make sure you check that list if you opt for another option.
I also upgraded my router to a mesh wifi (TP-Link Deco M5)....I now have full coverage throughout my house and speeds have multiplied by over 30 in far corners of my house.
Good luck.

Replacing a pricier NetGear Modem/Router combo that has become somewhat unreliable. While this modem is not the current cutting edge modem, it is a good value and when the time comes that I can take advantage of the new technology, their prices will have come down significantly. There is a good reason why cable companies rent Motorola equipment... they are reliable,

Bought this directly in the store. It's a good basic device for Spectrum in NYC. I had to call customer support to have it registered with my account. After one month, all is still working.

Most of what you need a cable modem to do is to just work. This one does that and is able to support faster speeds. Well worth the cost and better than paying a monthly rental fee from your ISP.

After reading what the critics had to say about this modem, I was certain this would be perfect for our internet needs. The design and lights on this modem looks amazing. The lights is easy to read if you have a internet problems or offline. This modem also runs really cool compared to our Arris modem. I hooked up the modem, called Spectrum with my Mac ID and was online in about 5min. The problem came while playing online games. It was jittery and lagged throughout a match which got to be really annoying. Internet, web browsing and security cameras all worked fine though. Tried this modem for a few days and decided to return it since BB only has a 14 day return policy. Now I’m back to my 3yr old Arris modem without any gaming issues. As the saying goes....don’t fix it If it ain’t broken! Was time for an upgrade though! I’ll keep searching.

Received two days sooner than expected. Got it unboxed, connected, and activated in under 30 minutes. My Internet connection has been rock solid and data speeds are outstanding. Wed Interface is very useful and provides a tremendous amount of information about the MODEM and connection status.
