Incredible value, my family needed a new modem and after a lot of review online this was the best value and performance. I have not had to manually reboot this modem even once in 4 months! The online activation through Comcast was super easy and was up and running quickly. We have a lot of devices and the 8 upstream/24 downstream have really helped out congestion. Highly recommend

This modem doubled my download and upload speeds. I was paying for a service that provided the speeds that this modem reaches. My old modem couldn’t reach half the speeds and constantly needed to be reset. Now I get the service I am paying for. Great modem!

I bought this item because I wanted to upgrade my current modem. Only reason I got this modem is because my old modem was only 8x4 channels. This one had double the channels which I thought would be good enough for my smart home. I was going to purchase a separate router anyways but the fact that this modem didn’t have NO WiFi signal was a little disappointing. But the router I got is doing the job. So if you’re looking to upgrade your WiFi signal I suggest purchasing a good router and use this modem to get the signal to the router with Ethernet cable.

Quality modem that gives me a rock-solid stable 200mbps connection, even when my neighbors complain about poor speeds from the same ISP. Buy your own modem, save on the monthly rental fees, and enjoy much better internet!

It's actually pretty good no longer losing internet on any platform then the actual speed test for I don't lose any packets when I was using the spectrum router yeah I lost like 50 packets per time I did a speed test sometimes even 100 so I'm pretty happy with my purchase

This Motorola cable modem replaced my 5-year old Arris SBG6782 modem-router combo that had at least one disconnection per day. I haven't had any disconnections with the new Motorola, possibly because it supports 24x8 channel bonding. My old modem only had 16x4, which I hear some ISPs are no longer supporting. Great modem at a great price!

Great buy and it’s smooth working router works great and easy to set up.

Worked fine, no performance or noticable difference with the supplied Modem from Spectrum.

This is a great product but I decided to upgrade from 3.0 to the 3.1 just to protect against future changes to my Internet service.

Modem setup was easy. It has an interactive program where you can choose from cable ISPs. I had to reset the router to recognize the dynamic IP through the modem, but that’s on the router. A subsequent reboot when I switched out a new surge protector did not require a router reset. The modem is doing it’s job. I like the “tower” footprint of this modem. It takes less space on the desk and has remained stable on the surface.

We were having constant internet disruptions with Spectrum's crappy modem. After multiple technician visits they claimed everything was working fine so it had to be our router. I wasted time and money replacing the router and the disruptions continued until I installed this modem. It's rock solid reliable and I don't have to rely on Spectrum's incompetent technicians and their garbage modem.

it's a cable modem; works fine with my 300Mbps xfinity/commie-cast connection . . . which shouldn't be stretch for its abilities. The main point is: 1) i save $14/mnth compared to the Commi-cast modem; and 2) i could install a very much better phased-array router that covers the whole house.
