Easy to install and it runs great. Hasn't dropped a single time since I installed it.

I was having issues with my surfboard arris 3.1 modem not hitting the speeds it was guaranteed to hit so I decided to switch to this modem and now I’m consistently hitting gigabit speeds and not having to constantly reboot the modem, I’ve only had to reboot once and that was when setting it up on my Internet service. Only complaint is there’s no way to mount it in my internet rack like the arris, which honestly isn’t a issue.

It modulates and demodulates! No connection issues with comcast.

I skeptical about getting a Motorola as modem. The choice between this and Arris modem came down to the fact I wouldn't be able to utilize the 2.5 gig port on the arris as you need a second form of internet service from your provider(which seems too expensive and not happening). It came down who was pulling better through my router and this Motorola was pulling better off the three test every time.

Xfinity friendly and very stable and fast modem. Highly recommended and if to do it over would buy again.

Great stable modem. This is the one to buy if you have Gig internet from your provider. I have 1.2Gb from xfinity, I’m getting consistent 950Mb down. If you have only 500Mb or lower internet plan, this is overkill. I like all the status lights that will help you troubleshoot.

Great product. Able to run several computers for gaming and smart tvs at 1.2 gig internet.

Great Modem, Easy setup. I just wish Motorola would have added extra ethernet ports to be able to hard wire devices that are near the modem. With this MB8611 Modem and a good router you can replace the junk gateways that Comcast chargers $15 a month to rent.

I've been with Xfinity for 7 years at 100Mbps, I decided to upgrade my Internet speed to 1200Mbps recently, so I need to upgrade my cable modem. This cable modem provides awesome speed and it can still keep cool when operating in full speed. Pretty stable so far, very reliable. Nice cable modem.

I be had this product for roughly 9 months. Ever since I got it my service cuts in and out. I’ll loose internet anywhere from a minute to sometimes 30 minutes. I’ve contacted my ISP and they say there is no issues on their end. I then contacted Motorola and they claim the that the ISP is to blame and will not warranty the modem. It comes with a three year warranty. I’ve had it for a short period and I’m out the cost of this product. My next modem will not be a Motorola product. With all that said when it does work it works very well. But I do not recommend this product.

I had high expectations for this product and after setting up the modem it keeps resetting as many as 4 times per hour. Trying to reach Motorola Tech support by phone is the worst I have ever experienced. I will never buy another Motorola product again. Total garbage and tech support is almost non existent. I called tech support first time was 45 minutes and said they closed at 8 PM. I called the next day was on hold for one hour and then voice came on and said no techs available please call back and hung up on me. I am now on hold again for 20 minutes and I am sure the same thing will happen. This is unacceptable.

I finally got tired of paying to lease a modem when in 12-13 months I could to own one. I researched this model with its features which should be good for many years to come. I already have a router and that hook up went seamless. I did had a slight wait activating the modem with Xfinity but they got it working in an hour. Everything been ok for a month now. No issues whatsoever.
