It works great. It is faster than my old one. If still worked but I was replacing my router and it was several years old. This new one runs about 100 Mbps faster for downloads and 3 Mbps faster for uploads.

Got this when I upgraded my xfinity speed. My old Motorola modem wasn’t up to par on the higher speeds. This does the job and more. Definitely recommend. I have always bought Motorola modems and will continue to do so.

This modem was listed on Cox's website as compatible with their Gigablast service. Setup was straightforward and I'm getting 900+ Mbps down/35 Mbps up which is what I expected from the ISP.

The Motorola MB6811 Cable Modem works perfectly with Spectrum-Charter internet, and easy to setup with Charter Tech support (Where you need to regester the Modem).

We needed to upgrade as per cable company to get the most speed from our internet plan. Not sure how well it performs or if its the service provider.

This modem has delivered the speed I expected and gives me band width to grow. Xfinity makes setup a little cumbersome because you have to contact them

This is a good modem to use, but be aware that if you use Xfinity internet, there have been many documented instances where the modem will reset randomly. This is due to an issue with firmware updates between Comcast and Motorola. I had to replace my modem once under warranty due to the issue, but thankfully it isn't an issue any more

great item, simple to use, easy to install and great speeds. would definently recommend. it's got all the latest specs, should last you years to come.

I normally have used ARRIS modems but decided to try this one being the new S33 hasn't gone below $199. This newer version of the MB8600 has the 2.5 GB ethernet port which is similar to the S33. So far it has worked out wonderful with the Cox gigablast plan. The fastest speed has been from Microsoft downloading a windows 10 ISO in less then 1 minute. I averaged speeds of 100 MBps from their serve.

I wanted to purchase a good modem that would future proof me for 5-10 years. The modem (MB8611) activated and speed test exceeded my previous well functioning modem (Arris/Motorola sb6121). However this modem (MB8611) keeps dropping signal on the upload side and cutting off internet for everyone at random times. sometimes minutes, hours, sometime days. I have a uptime kuma server that monitors when the internet goews out. I bought a Arris SB200 modem off a friend and and never dropped a connection for months at a time. i called motorola customer support but no one picks up, i have a 2 year support warrenty. its an expensive paperweight to me. Not sure is only mine is defective or if there are more. i had high hopes for this modem with premium price i paid for it. Should have gone with the Arris s33 instead.

Unboxed it, followed the instructions from Xfinity to access it via the web, booted up and has been working as advertised ever since.

I am very happy with my new cable modem. It easily gives me the 800 mbps I pay Comcast for. It runs nice and cool and was easy to set up. A quality piece.

Installation was easy, and relatively seamless (see below). Speed was doubled very quickly. The only issue was activating the modem over the phone, as the representative stated the S/N I was giving them had already been activated. I assured them that I had just left Best Buy with the product 30 minutes prior. After 10 minutes it was finally ironed out. For this reason, the review only gets 4 stars.

This modem allowed me to avoid Xfinity fees and use a router of my choice (Gryphon). It's been working fine and without issues for over a year.
