update our cable modern recently as we update the system in the wife since my wife is working from home wanted to make sure she had the best speed and setup once and again

Replaced a failing modem (Arris) that had issues dropping to 10mbit from Gigabit (Cox Gigablast) with this Motorola, has upgrade in speed in mind with 2.5gbit support which I like. No problems getting the mac recognized and activated with Cox over the phone, was done in a few minutes and off to the races. Has been solid as a rock since the replacement, haven't had to reboot my router or modem since, and consistently has high 900mbit speeds (as expected with gigabit internet you're going to see around 940mbit max).

Did not realize my old modem/ router was capped at a certain speed. This new modem flies and really help unlock the speeds I pay for

I upgraded my Xfinity Internet and this required me to replace my Arris Surfboard, which was working perfectly with my previous service. If you go to Xfinity’s 1.2 gigabit Internet then you will need something like this. I chose this one due to price and availability. I works great. I get the speed that I expect and everyone in the house gets their streaming junk without interruption. I work from home, so, this works perfectly and prevents and lagging during my web meetings. Just what we all needed.

Easy set up with my Xfinity internet. I get the speed that I am subscribed. Recommended for people who already have good wifi router and just looking for a modem.

Nice modem for the money. Easy to log into it as administrator and adjust port opening and setting up dedicated IP address for LAN items.

Bought this to replace the Comcast modem and I love it. It's fast and I save on the rental from Comcast.

I have Wide Open West. My old modem was about 8 years old and just wanted to upgrade. Noticed a little faster speed and more reliable connection. It was the easiest modem replacement I've made - so providers are more aware. Don't hesitate to save yourself monthly fees and buy one. Go for the best and replace less often.

Perfect replacement for older versions that was performing poor. No single issue after about two years of use.

Works great and provides more than enough speed and distribution. Much better than the stock provided from the ISP

It was easy to active and set up with Comcast Xfinity using just their app. I've only had it now for a few days but no issues so far. I am seeing a speed increase as well but I was coming from a six year old Arris Surfboard. My Comcast plan is 300 mbps and with the old modem I topped out at 190 mbps and now with this modem I am achieving constant speed of around 275 mbps.

Replaced an old working DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 Arris Surfboard. Part of the reason was to eliminate the modem as contributing to my unstable/bad latency during peak times (hoping more channels would help here). It has helped to degree but my ISP still has load issues during peak times. It was also nice to have a some future-proofing with a 2.5 GB port. While I do not have service or internal network capabilities for this yet, all of it should be on the horizon in the coming years. While I have seen bigger modems, this is about twice the height of your standard Arris Surfboard modem. Another nice plus is that it does not get as hot as previous modems I have had. That was my intention with purchasing this "bigger one" vs the current Arris modems (they like to get hot).

Very easy installation. Speeds of 1350MBS on hardwired and 900 on wifi. Solid all around performance.

Great choice when you are looking to get rid of those horrible lease modems these ISP. Great throughput speeds. Easy setup

Best part, I’m Not tech savvy n able to set it up, it paired seamlessly w/my existing wifi router, so far so good. Super happy.

It was very easy to install. There was no issue to register the modem with xFinity and no problems connecting it to the router. Work right away. The old modem provided only about 500 Mbps download speed via Ethernet connection but this Motorola modem gave me over 900 Mbps. My plan was for one meg Mbps. Also, wireless download speed generally increase from 345 Mbps to over 440 Mbps via 5.0 ghz channel. I would recommend buying this modem.

Delivers as promised. My 2nd. Motorola Modem. The 2.5 GB Ethernet cable connection makes a difference. The best Modem gets even better.
