Works great in our 2500sq ft home. Rather easy to setup with Spectrum. I did not use the app, it came with an instruction booklet. I did struggle setting it up to the smart TV using wifi, what solved this issue is I unplugged the TV for about 15 minutes then plugged it back in and then the TV saw the router. And it was no fault of the router, just hoping to save someone an hour and a half of time trying to figure it out!

I loved the device. The problem that I had was with Comcast. They said that they could not guarantee the top speeds nor did they allow you to have unlimited data with your device.

I had this router delivered to my home by Best Buy. It took me less than 30 minutes to install, including the time I spent on the phone with WOW Internet upgrading my service to 500Mbps. Now my internet literally flies. I installed the Motorola Minim app on my smartphone while I was talking to support. The app is very easy to use and will recognize all of your WiFi devices. I will make some fine tuning adjustments to the WiFi soon, but for now everything is working great and I am a happy customer of Best Buy and WOW Internet. This router will pay for itself in less than 24 months, based on the $14 monthly charge to lease from WOW.

You get what you pay for. My purchase of the Motorola MG8702 DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem/router has once again proven that to be true . It was super easy to whitelist on Mediacom's network and is very fast! My download speeds cap at 400Mbps and I get those speeds on both wired and wireless tests and the wireless range is very good. It's a little pricey at $270 but in my opinion its worth it to not have another device (router) on your network. And if you don't already have a router, then you are likely to spend that much money separately on both a router and modem anyway. Totally problem free and easy setup. Buy it. I'm glad I did!

Works well. Easy installation. This unit has a MPS button that allows for easy addition of wifi printers, without having to use an app to simulate a MPS button press.

Set up was straight forward and coordination with Sparklight (ISP) was smooth with no issues. The router has been trouble free with strong connections throughout the house.

The value you'll get from it depends entirely on your specific needs. If you're an Xfinity (Comcast) subscriber, intend to remain one, and want a simple, easy-to-set-up device that has provides pretty admirable speeds over a reasonable range, then this is the modem/router combo for you. Speed is the high point with this device. I was consistently drawing down the max mbps on my Internet plan (I'm now contemplating upgrading to the gigabit option) with no drops. Upload speeds were impressive as well. This combo unit has pretty much made my old AC router obsolete based on the speeds I'm getting.

Although it's only been installed for a week, I can already tell that I'm going to like my new combo router/modem from Motorola. I think I am finally getting the internet speeds that I'm paying for. I can tell a difference opening email, researching topics, streaming, and overall browser speed, in general. Set up was easy by way of a well-written instruction booklet and a suggested app. This modem/combo is accepted by all major cable companies. The final part of the process - contacting your cable company and getting them to recognize your device - is pretty much a snap, too.

It accepts the best the internet service provider offers. If they weren't wishee washy, it would be a blast.

Very easy to setup and improved my intetnet download speed from 56mb to 194mb on wifi and lan connection 88 mb to 289mb.. very pleased.

Seemed a little glitchy at first. I have Xfinity wifi and set up was pretty simple. Xfinity app ant Motorola app made wmset up simple. After set up wifi would drop out every so often. After router was set up for about 1 day wifi stayed on hasnt dropped out since. Wifi speed is amazing, ring doorbell used to have significant lag with my Arris Surfboard. Very happy so far with this router
