Recommended by my internet provider when I called them about why they were always dropping my connection several times a day. Seems that they have increased the signal speeds and my old router/modem could not handle it. Installed this unit and with the help of tech support had it running in 10 minutes. Solved my problem and also now the web is probably 3 or 4 times faster pulling up web sites and no lag at all playing videos, You Tube etc. Haven't been dropped in the middle of a Zoom meeting since installing this unit which was a BIG problem before.

Got this to work with my Cox internet. Setup was simple, I got this specifically because it has the USB port, and I like to attach an external hard drive to seamlessly transfer files from a windows to mac. Speeds are pretty quick.

I came in to buy the Motorola MG8702 at a discounted price by matching the good price from Motorola. The salesperson at Best Buy checked with his manager and said Best Buy would match the price. They did. And my Modem/Router works just fine. Thank you.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do, connects my devices to the internet. Internet speeds are great, range in my house exceeds advertised specifications.

I had a six year old Arris modem/router and finally paid attention to the home speeds from Comcast. The speeds were slow, however, doable. Heck, I thought why not upgrade and get something faster that will truly work with Comcast/Xfinity speeds that I should be getting. I had purchased an S22+ from Best Buy and it came with a $100 gift certificate. I did my research and went with the MG8702. I did have to call Motorola for a smart bulb that was not connecting and the rep got me going in no time. The speeds for a Chromebook, Roku TV, and two phones are incredible now. I would highly recommend this combo modem/router. It is sleek and good looking, too.

Superfast modem and very easy to set up. Does reboot kind of slowly and needed quite a bit of time to sync up and finally work, but has great speed and can handle lots of devices.

Has lasted over 2 years. No issues or hiccups. Didn’t want to pay cable company monthly payments. Already paid for itself in fees.

This unit is far superior to the one provided by cable company. Easy to install, fast and offers great coverage in a 2500 SF house. Good array of status indicator lights.

Great product. Wish it had Ipv6. Bad thing was when i went to trade it in, i was unable to.

I had a previous model of this modems and works for more than 5 years with no issues. Now I purchase this model and is working great, and provide me with super fast connection.

Very quick and easy to set up. I had a separate modem (from Xfinity) and a Netgear router which was about 3 years old. I spent way too much time with Xfinity trying to troubleshoot and had them cancel service appointments. I went and bought this knowing if I still had an issue I could return it but that's been unnecessary.

Extremely expensive … I bought the best … It stopped working 1 month after I got it & it couldn’t be returned ! 800 support number never answered … 6 months later, a computer geek friend had to do a complicated process of uninstalling & re-installing with the app on my smartphone … Way too complicated for someone who has no knowledge of this stuff … I haven’t had an issue in 6 months …

Its was a bit of a disappointment, as they forced me to have a login with a certain number of characters. also I tried to get a fix or replacement and Motorola wanted me to send it back to them at my expense , bad customer support i would say . but it works like it should but a bit pricey for the defect. and the forcing to do something I had done for 30 years as a user login.

It's fast modem and fairly easy setup. Now that it's set up though...it tells me I've entered the username/password wrong and locks for 5 mins. It seems to have done a reset. Basic troubleshooting leads me to believe that the app they have you use overrides the direct set settings... Still trying to get log back directly into it to reset the settings I set the first time!
