love the watch but, it lacks calling capability which I probably would not have used. Battery life is pretty good, and looks great get compliments all the time.

Great Android watch for those looking for style and a smartwatch. Note that this one doesn't take calls from the watch. Lots of great extra apps makes it a great productivity tool

I wanted a smart watch you could call from, as well as play games and text. I was told by associates it would do all that...should have done more research. Unfortunately, you can't call from this watch, which was a big issue.

I love this watch because its compatible with any Android device that I may own. It doesn't allow any phone calls via the watch however you can answer if you have a bluetooth device connected. I get many compliments on this watch as it is a good looking watch.

This is the smartwatch out there. Only gripe I have is that it doesn't have a speaker to listen to phone calls and android wear is in its infancy. With that being said it is still a great wearable, plus it is very stylish.

This watch is really helpful. It helps me to not miss phone calls and texts. It does not have the greatest pulse monitor in the world. I think there are other watches that do a better job with fitness related activities. This does count your footsteps, etc. but I don't think it is super accurate. However, it looks really sharp - I get many people commenting on the watch and being interested in it. It also does a GREAT job of giving you a heads up on texts and emails and phone calls. The only big negative for me is how quickly the battery runs out. I bought a second charger cradle that I keep in the car. If you forget to put it in the cradle at night, it WILL be dead by morning. Overall, I love it and I would highly recommend it.

Motorola has been around for a while and they tend to do ok with their products. The Moto 360 is the smartwatch to have if you're not looking to spend a bunch of money and expect a good product. You can answer texts right from it with voice to text, but the only downside is you can't make calls only using the watch and it won't last more than 2 days. It still offers the heart rate monitor which I use almost everyday. Motorola you made a great product.

Tech gadget that you can let it pass

Even the new versions or the watch from other OS, this is a tech gadget that you can avoid so far. If you're really involved in sports/running and the idea of getting info about that performance, I don't see a clear reason to buy this non cheap watch. The battery is poor (not a full day) , not water resistant, pairing with your android could be confuse for some people, can't use to receive/make calls without the phone. The good point: you can have a quick pick of your phone notifications, great when you're driving, but it demand too much the phone. So you don't get a standalone gadget but a new one that need your android close. I use it for six month and the other famous OS watch fit better for me.

Not much needs to be said, other than the fact that the Moto 360 is arguably the best smartwatch around, overall. I came from a Galaxy Gear, and while I miss being able to make and answer phone calls from my wrist, the overall package is much better here, and it is deeply integrated into the Android OS. Aside from that, unlike the Gear and Apple watch, this will work with a plethora of phones and looks sexy. I changed the wristband, and people ask questions all the time. At $250 it was a tough sale, but at $150 it is a steal. It keeps getting better with every update and the battery lasts all day. Qi wireless charging is on tap.

Battery life is good with the latest update. I like the wireless charging setup and "alarm" clock look when charging. Sometimes when saying a phrase it will correctly open the app or function other times it will search the internet. For example saying "show my steps" will usually open the fitness app and show how many steps you have taken but sometimes it get's into a state where all it will do is search the web. Both the heart rate monitor and pedometer are better than the Samsung smart watch but still only about 60% accurate. I'm hoping Android Wear 2.0 turns the tide and makes this a really useful product. Right now it's a fun toy. This is not for a novice or somebody who wants support from Motorola. They don't support this product online through chat or email and when you call them about an issue they told me they didn't have any info on the product and would have to "look up" the information and couldn't help me troubleshoot a problem and would call me back.

It was between this and the Fitbit HR, I made the better decision. This watch has many features that I don't use, I see no real use to answer a phone call with my watch or send a text. I do like that I can read the texts without pulling my phone out of my pocket. That is pretty convenient. I caught the 360 on sale at the same price as the HR and couldn't pass it up. I read so many reviews about the poor battery life, which I don't agree with. I wear it everyday and during workouts and at the end of the day I still have battery. The only time I had less than 10% was when I was tracking a run with 2 different apps and had my music going after wearing all day. The only thing I would recommend is get the metal wristband. They were out so I had to go with the leather. Its a nice leather, but I found out its not treated. So the first workout and shower I stained it. So now I am looking to buy the metal wristband. If you do opt for the leather, make sure you waterproof it before wearing it.

Calling a "Wearable Device", a watch, is a big mistake, for now. The big question is, was dressing a "wearable device" up like a watch, really a smart idea? Yes and no. They have taken the idea of a wearable and added a wrist band that looks like a watch. they've added a display similar to a watch. So they call it a watch! The consumer hears the word watch, sees the wearable as being a watch, so they are going to treat this invention as what its called, a watch. The problem is, during most of human history, watches have been able to last for months with out a battery being replaced. With these wearables today, the battery life, if your lucky, might last a day. That's unacceptable. As a result, reports of bad battery life flood the reviews and tarnish an otherwise great idea. So, what can we do? Well, until these "wearables" have the battery life to be worthy of being called a "watch", you treat it like a wearable and not a watch. Power management here is the key. most people with cellphones stopped using watches anyways, so turn off your "wearable watch" when you know that you don't mind reaching into your pocket to look at the time. other times to turn off your watch could be in situations such as, -car rides longer than 10 minutes. most cars have clocks and it's the same to look at a watch as it's to look at a phone in a car. -sitting for a long time in front of a computer. -in public places where you know the time can be seen easily. -at home, or in front of the tv (with cable) The key here is to think wisely and be creative. if you are the type that needs a digital smartwatch to replace a "real watch" then these "wearable watch lookalikes" just aren't for you at this time. But if you are like me, and can remember to quickly turn off the device and on when you need it, then its possible to get at least a full real 24 hours out of the latest and greatest, or even longer. anyways, there are some really great watch faces, 3rd party apps.

I found my search for the perfect smartwatch for my needs to be exhausting because there's up and downs for everything. I found the moto to be a great smart watch because it has a sleek design, customizable wristbands and the android wear OS is a highly supported interface that works with more android software than I even thought it would. Once you start using this device you realize that you look at your phone less and unless you have a complex conversation you will use this watch. It is a great music player as a standalone, as well as controlling your phone from afar (saves battery this way). battery life has improved with the newest rolled out lollipop update, and the battery lasts me for a solid 15 hours with normal use. . meaning I respond to texts. . get alerts all day with the vibration on. Obviously the down side to this watch is the lack of built in speakerphone, so you can't take phone calls directly on it. However, you can dial and answer your phone remotely, so if you place ur phone on a cradle near you but you don't want to reach over. . you can make it much easier this way. Other down side is that the voice function isn't perfect. . but is very good. . and you only have a couple seconds to catch a typo in your email or text replies before it gets sent. . which could make some EMBARRASSING ones go through at times. I like the find my car app, and the turn by turn directions on my wrist. . makes driving and navigating without carrying my big phone in my hand. the vibration alert is hard to miss so you never have to worry about missing out on phone calls, emails, texts, and other alerts on your phone. I love this device and wouldn't go back now that I've bought into the smart watches.
