We needed to replace a very old, early generation cordless phone that we use upstairs and were looking for something with a bit of "heft" to the handset. We have another cordless system in another part of the house from a name brand and don't really like the small size and light (cheap) feel of the handsets. They also don't have good sound a seem to operate only in a half-duplex mode. This Motorola unit is perfect. The handset is larger than typical and has a little more weight to it (still a lot lighter than our previous "antique" unit). The keys are large and everything just feels right. The one annoyance is that the base itself has its own ringer that by default emits a really loud, shrill beep. Since it's not needed in our case we were able to use the menu settings on the handset to turn it off. There are a number of nice ringtones available for the handset that we were able to choose from. We user our other system for our answering machine so are not using this feature of the product.

I needed a basic and reliable cordless phone system for the house and this phone delivered! The large buttons and screen on the phone make it very easy to read and operate, as well as set up was very simple! Sound is very clear and I have not had any issues with reception around the house. Looking to buy more phones for every bed room now!

I have only owned the phone since September 2022. It is now January 2023. In 4 months' time, this phone burns through Ni-MH batteries once a week. I use the phone lightly every day. It says it is charging but it is not. Now I cannot return or exchange the phone, I can only put it in the garbage. Motorola used to be known for making good phones. Now they do not. Stay away from this brand. If I could rate this zero stars, I would.

I needed a new phone and saw this one that has a lot of cool features - bigger display, ring indicator and volume boost. Was also happy to see the keypad is easy to clean.

Really like this product a lot. Got mine about a week ago and it looks way more high end than it does in the pictures. Nice big handset with big keys, big screen and volume control to make it quite a bit louder than my old phone. Need to find more handsets to add to this.

Just got my new cordless phone and it looks better than it did in the pictures. Really like the easy to clean keypad. Great audio quality and amplification when needed. Display is easy to read. Holds the charge for a long time when handset is off the base.

inability to do a number of things I expected; I could not block a call, because the number could not be searched.

It wouldn’t work with my home base ! Took it back.
