Best Motorola phone I ever had. I dropped it so many times on concrete, ceramic tile, and it can take it so far. I don't care for the cases. It's fast and does what the more expensive phones do without the spending extra money. It IS a Google phone so it is dependent of Google services to operate.

Love the price, no hassels for financial financing. No lag in time, very easy to use. I like it...

This phone replaces an LG ( purchased at Best Buy 5 years ago). Moto is much faster than old phone and camera takes great photos. The newer Android version is fast, efficient and learning aids are available if needed. Much better speaker clarity. I recommend Moto 5G 2023 as reasonably priced upgrade.

You can't go wrong with a Motorola Phone. The price is good the phone works great everywhere go. The battery life is the best. For how great these phones are and how fair the prices are, I really don't have anything negative to say.

For this class, the phone is quite great. Performs smoothly and consistently. Screen is sharp. Takes great pictures even in motion. Software is quick and snappy. Looks are actually fantastic.

It's a decent phone for the price. It lacks wireless charging, but that seems to be a feature that is commonly left out of lower-cost phones. I was able to to add a $15 USB-C wireless charging receiver to the back of the phone inside my case and it works fine. I like the fingerprint sensor on the side power button as opposed to being on the screen itself. It's more natural to open the phone this way. Battery life is average, and the camera seems to be comparable to most other average phone cameras. I didn't like the built-in launcher as much as the default launcher on my old OnePlus 9, but I found the Microsoft launcher which works really well and feels more intuitive. The display is fine and responsive. Internet and 5G work as expected, although wifi and data speeds are a bit slower when doing a speed test side by side with my OnePlus 9. About the only gripe I have is that the phone is slow; at least noticeably slower than my OnePlus 9. For example, going the Settings app and searching for a setting takes several (like 5) seconds after submitting a search term before a list of matches appears. This was instantaneous on my OnePlus. I never have any apps opened in the background. I swipe them away as soon as I am done using them, so it's not a background apps issue. I have also rebooted the phone every couple of days to ensure it has a fresh start but it makes no difference. It has also been updated to the latest version of the OS and I check frequently to make sure. It's something endemic to the phone itself, either hardware or software. To be fair, the OnePlus 9 is a $600 phone and the Moto G 5G is about one quarter of that price, so it's not really a fair comparison. But it is important to understand what you're sacrificing when you save that money. I'll still recommend it if cost-savings is a priority.

The Motorola phone has a slim, lightweight design that’s comfortable to use, and the camera is decent for casual photography. However, it lacks some important features like NFC and screen casting, which limits its versatility. The biggest issue for me has been frequent lagging—apps freeze or slow down often, and I’ve had to restart the phone multiple times just to get it working again. It’s an okay phone for basic use, but the performance issues definitely affect the overall experience.

I purchased this phone to give to my daughter as a backup phone. I knew that it was not top of the line, and that's fine. The price point is great. I was on sale for 150 bucks, and it has 5G. I'm satisfied with it.

Great 5G phone for a great price. I can usually get between two and three years out of the base model Motorola phones before needing a replace, and at this price it's simple can't be beat in value. It does everything I could want and more.

For the price of $150 can't beat this phone and getting 5G and 128GB. Motorola has some of the best cheap & mid priced phones.

After using the moto g 5G for a week I'm very pleased with it. Transferring data from my old phone went smoothly. More than sufficient memory for my needs. Good battery life. Touch-sensitive one-off switch is a nice practical feature. For the price this phone is excellent value.

The Motorola - Moro G 5G 2023 was super easy to set up and use. The colors when you first turn on the device and bright and potent and absolutely beautiful. The phone is user friendly and smooth to navigate. It was amazingly affordable compared to some smart phones today. Would not hesitate to purchase again if the need arose.

Can't beat the value the quality the longevity of the battery overall use of the phone.

I am a lucky guy! I needed a new phone to use with Helium Mobile 5G mapping and Best Buy had a 2023 Moto G 5G 128GB unlocked. Great price and friendly team members. The Moto is user friendly and Helium SIM card makes getting setup easy.
