Good for a replacement cellphone, but not perfect

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When the time came for me to get a replacement cellphone, I chose the Motorola Moto G, mostly because of my familiarity with the brand as a long-time customer. It works well for what I need it to do, but it's by no means perfect. Even now, only a couple of weeks into my new ownership, I'm still navigating the bumps. Power drains rather quickly for the first 4~5 hours of use in a day, from startup on, but then stabilizes and slows down later. Turning the phone on is easier than turning it off--to turn it off, you have to press the volume-up and power buttons at the same time, which I find a little counter-intuitive. Otherwise the phone works well enough to make it worth owning, and I was even able to transfer the data off my old phone, through a data cable that came with the new unit. (Better keep the charger that came with your old phone, if it used a USB-C connection--this phone doesn't come with a charger.) In all, I would recommend it if you can't get anything else, due to the caveats I mentioned.

Good Device for less than 300!!!!

The screen is size is larger than last phone by 1/4inch all the way around. Phone was able to update to newest android version in the last month no issues. Camera is 48 mp and is good for this phone.If your using this device to make a simple video is good.

We do heavy construction and it has lasted without a crack or glitch! Very happy!

The screen protector is the thickest and most clear yet. It is hearing aid compatible, thankfully not necessary yet. John at Geek squad very helpful put in new sim and had another friendly employee apply protective cover for minimal fee. Very pleased. Wonderful customer service..rare these days.

Good phone for decent price

My only issue is that the fingerprint reader is unreliable. Other than that, it is a good phone for the relatively cheap price.
