Amazing phone very accessible, I just broke my Samsung and I found this one really cheap

Beware of purchasing open boxed items especially smartphones from Best Buy. It’s obvious they don’t test them for basic functionality. If you do please make sure it’s not locked by a PIN by previous owner. I purchased an unlocked open box 2024 Moto G 5G and sent it a gift. The recipient just turned on the device and notified me that is is locked with a PIN. I contacted support and was informed the only way to get the PIN removed is by going to a store. The recipient lives 4.5 hours away by plane and I’m going to ask her to ship it to me; we may as well purchase a new phone. Since this was purchased as a present I was not notified of the issue until after return deadline has passed. Skip the hassle and buy brand new instead.

Great phones for the price, I have four boys and they all have Moto g phones, we've had them for several years now with no complaints.

The delivery of this phone (Christmas gift) was terrible. They threw the box to where the phone box came out of the massive box that it was in. Terrible delivery service. If it were raining - we wouldn’t have a working phone.

I wasn't expecting the world out of a $180 5G phone, but it is better than expected. Thermal management is better than the Pixel, but video stabilization is worse, IMO.

I shouldn't even give it one star because, when I received my package, the phone wasn't inside, and BestBuy agents told me several times that they would refund my money. But to this day, they still haven't. I had to file a dispute with the bank and I'm still waiting. If the bank doesn't help me more, BestBuy will have practically stolen my money. Don't buy anything. It's a very unreliable store and doesn't deliver what it promises. Don't make the mistake I made and spend your money on an empty cardboard box! You shouldn't risk losing almost $140 like I did. Now I'm dependent on a dispute with the bank and the uncertainty of whether the bank can help me get my money back. Don't shop at this store!...

This phone was not unlocked as the description said it was. It kept disconnecting from non-verizon sim cards that were inserted.

Great phone with plenty of features. Good memory capacity, fast, great sound, good fingerprint sensor, excellent battery life, not bloated with lots of adware. It connects fairly fast to available networks, works good overseas, and it does provide true 5G speeds. Its' screen brightness is not great; it does sometimes becomes slow to respond when using the camera; the camera is above average but nothing close to even older gen iPhones or Pixels; and I do wish it was a tad bit smaller (lenght-wise). Overall it is a great value and I am glad Motorola is still coming out with affordable phones that are well above average and loaded with plenty of features.

Not anything special. Basic android. No new or stand out features. Camera is less then great. The only thing I enjoy is the finger sensor on the power button.

I've been using it for almost a year now, and it has consistently performed at 100%. It's durable, impact-resistant, huge memory capacity and the battery easily lasts all day with regular use. I’ve been using the Motorola G 2024 for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how much value it offers for the price. I lowkey hate this phone, but it's part my fault. I didn't have a choice, needed something cheap and it was on sale. I will say I like the outershell though. Functions fine as a phone but heaven forbid you want to listen to music and open Google maps, one of those will probably crash. It can't run Spotify and open the McDonald's app at the same time unless it's a good day. Good for basic use like calls or texting or one app at a time. Terrible for anything even slightly more involved, like switching between web browsing to an app like Door Dash or maps. Very low RAM so do keep this in mind. Camera is decent enough for the price though. Nice colors, a touch low on detail but still nice for the price point. It's a bit slow on even simple games (I don't do a ton of gaming but I have one or two and they run but I can't switch out without the game closing). Battery life is about par. I don't usually have issues getting through the day but it will be depleted by the days end with moderate use, such as occasional games, maps, watching a movie, etc.

I bought this phone and I am glad I did. It works perfectly with no problems. I am Very happy with the quality of this device. It is a great phone even though it is not an iPhone or a Samsung. it was very inexpensive but it is not "cheap". The Motorola-motto g 5G 2024 128 GB (unlocked) is a great value. It does everything I need for it to do. I am very happy with this purchase.

Phone works well, cameras are okay. Once you get used to the gestures, the phone is extremely easy to use.

Ideal for: Users needing a simple, low-cost 5G phone with long battery life and minimal expectations for high performance or camera quality. Not ideal for: Users who demand smooth app switching, vivid display, rich multimedia, or extended longevity.

Overall I like this Motorola phone. Great camera. Better than some of the iPhone pics I've seen. I added an sd additional memory card. Took a little work to close the seal but it can be done. The only slight issue is occasionally there is a slow delay when switching from one app to another. Good sound quality on calls. Good battery life and quick charging. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new phone and doesn't want to spend big bucks.

This phone is a huge upgrade from my old phone it runs so much better than any other phone I've had. And it was only 170 dollars including shipping and taxes which is pretty good for a phone nowadays. The battery lasts all day and the camera is excellent.
