Price was right for a new phone.

Might be breaking in but I upgraded (down, side....) from a G Power because it would not upgrade to Android 12. Apps were going very weird on it. This is smoother, but it says right in it, a bit stodgier. It seems brighter, and I am using the old phone wifi in the house to prevent wear and tear on this. Does what it needs for a good price.

Disappoointment from Motorola

Phone is cumbersome to use with some functions not even active. Camera works well, but finding photos is tricky. Call quality, especially receiving calls, is poor. Sound level is low making it hard to hear callers. On the plus side, storage is great and it does have an SD card slot. Camera quality is solid. Unlike other phone manufacturers, Motorola doesn't overlay their phones with proprietary stuff, which is a plus on this phone. However, at the end of the day, it's the overall performance that counts and the Moto 5G (2022) falls short.

(Not a good sign if the actual Motorola website does this.) Fingerprint sensor didn't always work. Battery seemed to drop quickly. Call quality had static sometimes. I want to like this phone, but disappointed Motorola hasn't worked this out yet. Maybe mine was defective.
