why pay big money this phone is great excellent battery life will not do 5G but who cares Highly recommend takes very good pictures and movies very fast free of junk apps

Does everything the big name phones do for much less. I also like that the Apps are in Alphabetical order. Camera is great. Connects to your car using Android. Battery power lasts for days, not hours... There is no negative here..

I bought this phone mainly for the price but it has plenty of feature and the battery life is outstanding. I'm not a phone geek so I use it for calls, texting and some web surffin.

I buy this model for my Mother that live in Peru, she is very happy for the battery live that permit talk hours and hours with the rest to the family.

As for the phn; it’s well made, easy to operate (even for an 85 yr old) and looks is nice. Very satisfied with this purchase!

The first cellphone I purchased started experiencing difficulties, so I returned it. This one has been great so far. I love how you use the cellphone for 3 days without charging it. I usually purchase Apple products only but I am glad I purchased this cellphone. I purchased the cellphone due to the reviews. I am having difficulties finding a cover for the cellphone due to it being a new product. I will find one soon. Great cellphone. No disappointment here.

Great phone for the price. I have Verizon for a carrier and because my prior phone was purchased through them, it would have been a real challenge to move everything over to the new phone. New phone us unlocked and SIM was easy but I suspect Verizon has blocks in place basically requiring a customer to go to them to move contacts, etc., thankfully my daughter is a computer genius so she got everything all set up and transferred. So only real complaint has nothing to do with the phone, it is with Verizon.

It's a really good phone. It is inexpensive and has a galaxy look. Large 6.5" screen with vibrant colors for sports and video watchers. A phone with a decent battery life, like the Moto G Play, is rather important. It will take me some additional time to learn and become proficient with all of its functions and movements, which is why I awarded it five stars. Overall, for the price, this phone is excellent. Anyone looking for a nice phone at a reasonable price should definitely consider this one

I purchased this phone when it came out (Jan 2021) and have been using it all year. There are so many things that I like about it but most of all is that it is compatible with Android Auto so I can use my music apps like Pandora and Spotify on the screen of my car. The battery life is also very good and I can usually go over a week without charging because when I connect to my car it charges it (I do not use social media so I do not have constantly running things in the background like Facebook, WhatApp, Instagram, TikTok, etc). Motorola just upgraded the OS to Android 11 which is a bonus and I'm happy to receive it because it helps give you more ability to restrict which apps have permission to things like location, camera, files, etc. I would give the phone a fully 5 stars but the bluetooth has been *very* *very* buggy for the last 4-6 months. I have some older JLabs bluetooth ear buds that won't connect unless I reboot the phone. Same thing happens with my air-pod-style JVC earbuds and Bose mini speaker. I have to reboot about every 24 hours to use bluetooth. Another bluetooth issue is that it "forgets" that my car can have access to the contacts so my car complains that it couldn't download the contacts and I have to go in settings and flip the switch back to blue (enabled).

I use this mobile as a secondary mobile (my primary mobile is iPhone 8). Moto G play is a very good mobile. The only main purpose I use this mobile is to watch movies online using WiFi and mobile holder while simultaneously doing my other works. It’s 6 inch screen gives good view of the movie and the sound quality is also good to understand the dialogues in the movie. I also use this mobile for browsing internet, social networking and to do video calls with my friend. The front camera quality is good for video calls. I am satisfied with this mobile for the purposes, I am using it for. The only con is that it’s heavy for my small hands. I can’t hold it for a longer time in single hand.

I bought this phone when I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and broke the screen. This is one of the best budget phones I have ever used, but it's been several years since I used a budget phone and it's to be expected. The screen is big, bright, and beautiful, making reading ebooks really enjoyable. I love how big the screen is and saw a noticable size difference between this and the Galaxy S9+. I also like the way you swipe left and right to navigate back and forth instead of having the navigation bar at the bottom. But this phone is already almost full in terms of memory, so that's no good. The battery is absolutely massive and I haven't needed to charge it very like other phones I have had. The camera is not a good one, because the image quality lacks the detail of higher end phones and it does not focus very well. All in all this is a good budget phone but nothing astounding. I can't wait to use this for a year and then upgrade to a flagship phone from Samsung again.

For a cheaper phone it is good, you get what you pay for. this has not been a good year for phones for me. Had a high dollar phone and it was ran over, then bought a cheaper Samsung that I really liked but the screen had issues, so because of the time it would take to fix , bought this cheap MOTO phone. It is ok will be glad to my other phone back.

Slow phone.... but good for messages, and whatsapp

I love this phone. I would highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to spend $1200 on a phone they have to replace every year.

I knew basically what phone I wanted, but Alissa Guthrie was able to talk me into a 2021 Moto Play, For a few dollars more I got a wonderful phone. I am really happy with the battery on the phone. Previously, I had an Iphone that had a limited battery. Alissa saved all my contacts on my new phone, and went above and beyond providing excellent customer service.

Solid phone. Battery life is very good. I wish the processor was a bit faster, I noticed lag (maybe it's the lower ram). I went for the moto g power over this. Calls were very clear. Only reason I got rid of this was the low memory, 32gb is to low for me personally. Other than that the fingerprint reader worked great.

This Moto G Play is a replacement for my old Moto G 2016 since the old version couldn't handle the switchover to VoLTE. Seems to work fine, and the battery life is MUCH better than the old unit. My only problem that I dock a star for is that the WRONG type of USB cable (Micro) was included instead of the required USB-C cable. When I discovered this I went back and the store staffer who sold the phone to me said "It's not Best Buy's problem". Well then. Caveat Emptor. He did try to sell me the compatible cable for $15; I snorted because I knew I could get 5 for that price via mail order. He didn't even give me instructions for how to contact Motorola/Lenovo to ask for a cable - not worth the hassle for something that will cost me $2.
