32gb version inadequate beyond barely basic use

It gets memory errors quickly if loaded with what I would consider a reasonable amount of apps (20+). The speed is very similar to the G7 it was replacing and the UX is mostly more refined but this phone is two generations later so it should be significantly better IMO. Performance example: often running a podcast and low action gaming often stops the podcast, grinding the game to a hault, to seemingly crashing the system. 20 apps, no pictures, no movies. Constantly dumping the cache. Ultimately it can't do what the G7 did effortlessly.

Affordable alternative to iOS, pleasant surprise

Although I must say that I liked the Stylus version better. But for your run of the mill phone it's affordable and it's held its value still at $200 two years later. I'm impressed.

Best Buy Makes it Happen

Overcoming my doubts, Best Buy made the switch effortless with my choice of Sim and file transfer. The interface was familiar, Moto to Moto. If you need a new 4G phone, Best Buy probably has it. Good quality phone, loud ringtone options. This is the 2nd purchase of this style of phone. Great for the 45+ generation who isn’t phone savvy but still want access to apps and web.

No Wi-Fi Calling

Only problem was not enough memory - 16 GB. So I upgraded to this phone with 32GB. The only problem is this new model doesn't seem to have Wi-Fi Calling capability. Disappointed as we don't have a good signal at our house and Wi-Fi calling would have solved that problem. Had it on the G6. Be aware if you would like Wi-Fi calling.
