The camera zoom is the only feature that could be a little better but the phone is sleek and runs apps well.

Great phone for the value!

The audio, display quality and speed are perfect for my 12 years old daughter. This is the 4th or 5th Motorola phone, I have bought and I have always been happy with the value proposition. Even through my former carrier the Motorola phones have always had much less bloatware than, say Samsung (ugh) which loads up their phones with all kinds of nonsense. When you buy it unlocked it comes with even less bloatware, and you can delete or disable most of it. It is much faster than my old phone, which one would expect, with 8MB of RAM, and 128MB of internal storage. There are several things I like about this phone, a couple being that it still has a headphone jack, and also it will take a micro SD card for additional storage. Both of these features are found on very few phones these days. There are 2 features that are unique to Motorola on the phones I have had, including this one, that are REALLY convenient. You can open the camera app just by twisting your wrist, and you can turn on the flashlight by a chopping motion - no screen to wake up or app to start up - brilliant really. Also, the battery life (5000ma) is phenomenal. I can use it all day, leave it overnight, and it will still have plenty of charge the next day. If you want a well functioning device and don't want to spend huge dollars this phone may be right for you.

The performance is smooth, apps open fast, and the battery easily lasts me all day with normal use. The camera quality surprised me, especially in good lighting, and the screen looks sharp and bright. Setup was quick and everything works as expected. Definitely a solid choice for the price. Motorola - Moto G Play 2024

Once someone showed me how to assess the options I was fine. For younger folks it probably won't take a second to learn. It has a speaker that works great and loud as well as an alarm. I wish the alarm was a little louder because when I'm using it to wake up it's sometimes too soft but I love the alarm so I don't miss my appointments. Screen is large enough and clear while photos surprised me at how clear they are - even codes (for returns etc,) show up really great. Sound is great and it holds it's charge for quite a while.

Great Budget Phone with Long Battery Life

Battery life is excellent and easily lasts me more than a day. The screen is clear and works well for videos and browsing. Performance is fine for everyday use like texting, social media, and light apps. The only downside is the camera — it’s decent in good light but not great in low light. Also, it’s not super fast if you open too many apps at once. Overall, for the price, it’s reliable, simple, and gets the job done. Great value phone!

Big upgrade for me, but *caution* FRAGILE

As my old dying Obamaphone was Android 9, this phone is fantastic in every respect: screen size and resolution, speed, sound quality, camera, etc. Have always had good experiences shopping at Best Buy. The bad news is after six weeks of very light use, I noticed the screen is cracked diagonally upper right corner to lower left. Once, when sitting in a beach chair it slipped out of my pocket and fell maybe 12" to concrete. I guess that was enough to break it? The crack is barely noticeable and the phone still works fine, it's just a bit disappointing that it's so fragile.

Display is amazing you can easily be $300 phones and speed, responsiveness is also great, and it is not a gas guzzler as far as battery concerned. I'm telling you, this phone is as good as a $300 phone.

Sliw, not enough storage and camera was not even worth using. Im a loyal Samsung user as a rule, but this phone was an affordable price, so I had nothing to lose. It arrived next day and set up was easy! Its 4g and perfect for me. Love the alphabetical order of apps, too. This phone is awesome! Very happy with my purchase. PS; battery life is long, and comes with charging cord, but no outlet plug.
