The moto G
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great phone. It has great features, but lacks on the camera. Its does not have a stabilizer & you'll end up with a lot of blurry pics.

Great Battery Life and Storage for the Price
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto G Power is a great budget phone. The 128GB storage is plenty for apps and photos, the screen looks sharp, and the battery easily lasts two days with regular use. Performance is smooth for everyday tasks, and being unlocked makes it flexible for any carrier.

A good improvement from Samsung to Moto
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This piece of tech is probably the best of this generation that I've seen yet. At least, at this pricing. It's got everything I need to keep a good amount of space available for photos and updates along with the apps for texting friends and family. Camera quality is also better than the Samsung Galaxy Crown J7 I used prior to this. I expected to be able to have a gallery application to edit photos but ig Google Photos is gonna have to do. The battery life is nice. If you have no (active) apps on your moto, you probably got 2-3 days of battery life. If you are a busy body like me and store 3-4 apps for social media, you got a day and a half of battery life (not including Bluetooth on). The phone use gestures are actually quite nice considering the pain in my fingers from pressing both vol and power keys to screenshot on my Samsung phone. I just think it would've been nice to be able to import Samsung files to Moto files via cloud or something so I don't have to use my crappy old phone to look through old notes I took like a dusty book with pages stuck together. Also, if I could swap sides for the triangle circle square buttons by pressing and holding the square to select the whole bar, drag it to the long side or the camera side, that would be pretty cool.

Excellent modest priced phone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these phones, one for me and one for my wife. I swapped the SIM cards from our old phones and the Moto G Power phones booted up and connected to our Verizon accounts, bringing in our contacts and fairly our text messages. Our old phones were Android 7 & the Moto G Power updated to Android 12, so some reshuffling of apps was required as expected. And of course, the pairing with the headsets and the vehicle, which all went very well. The Moto G Power performs well, 128 GB is much more than we will likely ever need, 64 GB would have been plenty, and actually, 32 GB would work too. The system & apps currently uses just 21 GB. The camera takes fairly good pictures, but not to the level of the excellent quality of high priced phones. The display is bright and clear, etc. Phones have grown over the years and I miss the days of small + compact, but I do like the large screen of this new phone which is as large as the physical phone could allow. Disclaimer- I've never been one to buy the expensive phones, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing. My phone ownership focuses on good call quality & reception, good display, acceptable camera, modest physical size, good battery life Overall, PLUS a reasonable price tag so that I don't get lured into the ripoff insurance plans. From those requirements, I'd give this phone excellent scores for value & performance.

Old fat guy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a Moto g 7 and upgraded to the G power to get the 4g and extra storage. Also, will be able to get android 12 eventually. I'm not a techie but, I can maneuver around on this phone easily. Took a picture with it, printed it out for a photo and came out great. Takes about three days to run it down and charges up while eating breakfast, taking a shower while watching morning news. Has good size but not cumbersome. Even did some banking and used the map to find a restaurant in a town 50 miles away.

Hugely disappointing!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone arrived without the complete set of accessories that an open-box excellent condition item was supposed to include. My package only included the phone and a data/charging cable without the actual charger, earphones, manual, etc, that one expects to receive with a new phone. Upon receipt I noted that the phone looked brand new with no scratches so I turned it on to assure that it came with the 128GB memory and saw that the battery had a 55% charge. I charged the phone and updated its programs and apps and also transferred data from my previous phone. This took a number of hours as I did not have a manual and the cord received with the phone was not compatible to transfer the data from one phone to the other so I ended up having to use bluetooth. I noticed that the screen was very slow in responding to touch (2-3 SECONDS!!!) between my pressing and it responding. The next morning I took my new phone to work and it continued to react slowly and actually whited out 3 times during the day. The phone would not return from this condition and I was forced to long-press the start button in order to restart the phone each time. VERY upsetting and I thought that there was surely a problem with the CPU of the phone causing it to be non-responsive and freeze up despite my having used only 10% of the memory in aps and transferred data. I recharged the phone which had gone to 25% charge by midnight and the next day went by without a problem. Regretfully the day after it again slowed down and froze up/whited out and had restarted itself while I was turning on my old phone to make a video of the problem. In summation, the phone arrived without all the parts, manual expected and works well some of the time (although really not a lot better than my 5 year old blackview phone which it is supposed to be replacing) but not with the super fast response that I expected from a 2022 phone using Android 12 instead of my previous phone's Android 8 and having only 16GB memory.

Solid phone for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the money, it's a very solid phone. It's got better than average battery life, reasonably good camera, reasonable amount of storage and it performs all the functions a phone should. Now it doesn't have all the bells and whistles or specs of an iPhone 14 or a Samsung S23 or the like.......but then, it doesn't cost $1000.00 or more either.

Enjoyed the personalization features.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its fairly easy to set up and intuitive, I enjoyed the personalization options that are featured. The camera is pretty awesome, I have to say. I had the Motorola Moto 5g One previously (2yrs). It does somewhat lag when you have two apps running (google maps and a music app) but other than that I'm pretty content with it.

Great phone
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will buy another one for my wife Motorola. It is known for offering a balance of performance and affordability. The latest model, the Moto G Power (2021), has a large battery, a 6.6-inch HD+ display, and a triple-lens rear camera system. It also has a Snapdragon 662 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and runs on Android 11. The device is praised for its good performance, long battery life and great

Good for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best phone for the price. Fast enough and the battery can last a whole day. I had the older model from 2021 and this 2022 model I can tell it is much faster and the screen resolution is much better and the camera is improved. Still not the best phone but for the price which I got it for only $150 I would not complain about it.

Moto G Power 2022
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Moto G Power 2022 runs well. Having a decent amount of memory helps over my old 32GB Motorola. No complaints- clear screen, improved camera and quicker than the older Moto G it replaced. Battery life is a little better also, but may be because it is new.

Very Good bargain for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Motorola moto g power cell phone. I had the 2021 model for over a year and just purchased the 2022 model. The first phone was $250 which is a bargain for the quality of the device. The second one was $150, an incredible bargain for such a quality phone. The main reason to upgrade was the limited main memory of the first phone, 32 GB. This greatly limited the number of apps and associated data that could be installed. My second phone has 128 GB of main memory and that makes a significant difference. Both phones have 512 GB MicroSD cards which store pics and videos mainly. None of the OS or apps can be stored on the micro card. I use my phone for calls, messages, ordering from stores, GPS and taking daily pics as well as very short videos. For these purposes the phone is quite proficient as well as responsive. In contrast my wife uses her phone for work, creating documents and videos as well as E-Mail. She needs a more powerful phone and her iPhone delivers well. For basic uses such as mine the Motorola g line is a great bargain. The g power model has a large battery and a charge lasted at least a day and a half for me. Moreover, the phones use a nearly plain vanilla version of Android and thus updating to Android 12 was no problem. If you want a very good phone at a truly bargain price check out Motorola at Best Buy. You will not be disappointed.
