To help us narrow down the cause, could you confirm if you’re using the original Motorola charger and cable? In the meantime, you might try closing apps running in the background when not in use, reducing screen brightness or enabling adaptive brightness, and turning off features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Location when they’re not needed.
