Hi Heather, We’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re experiencing with WiFi calling, texting, and gesture features. Since you’re in an area with no cell service, WiFi connectivity becomes especially important. You can try restarting your phone, ensuring it’s running the latest software (Settings > System > Software updates), and toggling Airplane mode on and off to refresh your connection. For WiFi calling, double-check that it’s enabled under Settings > Network & Internet > SIM & network > WiFi calling and that your router is using a compatible frequency band (2.4 GHz often works more reliably than 5 GHz). Gesture features can sometimes be affected by software updates or screen sensitivity settings, so reviewing them under Settings > System > Gestures may help improve performance.
