I dropped it pretty hard and it didn't crack or break. Sometimes chrome is funny on it, idk if it's a processor problem or what. Solid batter and just a solid phone ton use for delivery driving.

Moto only does 1 Android update and 3 years of security updates I believe, but at the price (less than $150), it's worth getting a new phone every 3 years, when the battery stops holding charge well anyway. Camera's probably not as good as other brands but that's not important to me.

I am tough on phones and in the past, I have bent and cracked expensive phones like Samsung and LG. This is a tough phone with a long-lasting battery. I live in a rural area and use Verizon and this phone picks up the signal better than an Apple my wife uses. One downside is the finger pattern detection works 1 in 10 times, they relocated it from the back and worked 1 in 3 to the power button on the side. I haven't tried to use the wireless charging yet. The 5G works alright but I haven't run a speed test when I have been connected.

Good Basic Phone

Based on other reviews, this seemed like a solid phone for the price especially with the sale. There is some pre-installed bloatware from motorola that I haven't yet figured out how to remove but it isn't too intrusive.

It's a bit laggy even on 120 refresh rate. I expected the battery to last whole day but it reaches 25% by the 10th hr it's turned on. Sound is great with custom settings for headphones or bt devices. Could improve on customization of screen color as it needs help. Very dull even for lcd hd. Sometimes it struggles to connect to the internet. Could be my network but should not lag like that. Camera is ok for just keeping event memories. Look elsewhere if using for project. Great for use as a back up phone.

However, the user experience of the competing settings that conflict with each other (meaning Microsoft vs Google, et al), renders buying Androids a big mistake and time sink. However, a certain set of professionals rely on Androids for work, and Motorola has tried admirably to address this issue by adding their own layer of settings. Let the best set of settings/features win.

However, finally broke my S20 and needed a replacement. So glad Motorola didn't adopt the glass phone crap. This is a very sleek, comfy, and durable design. Out performs my S20, just doesn't have a crazy camera, good thing I could care less. Visual fidelity of smartphone cameras has reached the point of diminishing returns since like 2016. AI has pretty much solved any downsides by fixing steadiness, implementing a smart eraser, and upscaling. This phone has probably made me a Motorola user from here on out.

2024 moto power g, decent audio

No complaints on the display and it feels pretty snappy changing and running my apps. I do prefer the Samsung file manager app over the google files app. I miss that.
