I needed to do this to speed up the battery charge which seemed slow right out of the box. No problems so far with any features. Was able to sync an old phone to this one and port over my apps. Happy so far with the product. Owned for about a month.

I had dropped it many times before, and the screen held nicely, which is one reason I like this phone, but the drop was bad, on concrete. Anyway, I liked it well enough to get one just like it. The price is great, enough to overcome a few annoying features having to do with the screen icons. Maybe I just haven't figured it out. Anyway, five stars, considering price.

Great phone but short battery life

I like it overall, especially the design, the camera, and the functionality. The only thing that's not great is the battery life, that's definitely too short for the use I make of it

A pleasant surprise as affordable phone

I expect there's some performance downgrade, but it performed better than expected. MTK 6030 and 8GB physical RAM actually make job done. I don't do gaming on this phone. Display is good as IPS. Speaker is OK. It has headphones jack and FM radio. Screen on time is about 10 hours estimated (YouTube streaming on 5G; 50% brightness). A side note: it supports QI charging

I previously owned a Moto One 5 G Ace, and I love the features and the gestures but the phone did not operate properly. They got it right on this one. All the reviews you read on the technical stuffer correct, and the Moto Display that replace the Peek Display is great

Screen freezes

My first 2025 replacement (same model) It inexplicably cracked on the corner within 3 days...before the case I bought through Best Buy arrived, which I mentioned elsewhere. Despite having the $179 guarantee, which provided this replacement, I was charged a $40 re-shelving fee. This phone is fast most of the time, and well worth it. However, the screen freezes at least once most days and the "power off" is tricky to locate. The photos are much crisper than the 2022. It doesn't seem to hold its charge as long as the 2022.

Moving to the Motorola was initially a challenge. After a week of using the moto g power, everything is fine. Considering the price is 1/4 of the Samsung phone, that makes it even better. With the extra power, i definitely recommend thie moto g power.

It can easily go 2 1/2 days with no charging and I even use the battery saver option which only lets you charge it up to 80%. This helps maintain the life of the battery which is super important. For the money you simply can't go wrong.
