As far as I'm concerned, this phone is excellent. Purchased it on sale at BB for 199. The difference between the 2021 model (which is 4G capable) and the 2022 model (which is 5G capable) wasn't worth the higher price for my purposes. The stylus may not be necessary these days for some buyers, but it is tucked out of the way if you don't have much use for it. It comes in handy for me, however, when I text (converts my handwriting into typewritten text which is quicker and easier for me than using the keyboard). Also when the stylus is released, you can elect to have it activate a program that allows you to make some quick notes without activating the phone itself. Camera is very good and I was able to transport all the info from my old phone to this one without any issues. Phone updates to Android 11 soon after use. I have Mint Mobile and the phone was quickly recognized by Mint upon insertion of my old Sim card. The Sim card tray has room for an additional SD card if you want more memory for some reason. Battery life is about 2 days depending on use. Charger is included, though the cord is a bit short. The phone is 6.8 inches (diagonally), but fits in my front pants pocket without a problem. Bought this phone to replace an LG G6+ that was giving me trouble once too often. I personally don't see the point of paying megabucks for a phone. I recommend this one as offering plenty of bang for the buck.

I bought this for my wife as her old phone quit. It was on sale and Motorola was always a good company. Since we don't rent iPhones from Tim Cook. This is a powerful phone at a great price. Far less than half the cost of an equivalent Tim Cook rental. In which honestly, the battery would've been shot by now and the phone declared obsolete. All by design. It's around a year and a half old now, I just forgot to review it before. Which is good in a way, it now has some real use history. It still looks and works as good as and new. the battery life is still very good. I have a 512GB micro SD card in it, that works seamlessly. The camera is truly incredible, it takes amazing photos at any reasonable distance. very crisp and clear. It was an unlocked unit. Handy since I switched the SIM card three times now with two different carrier types. Again, that worked flawlessly each time. It has had no problems at all, always works flawlessly. Very reliable. Whenever either of us is ready for a new phone, we will certainly look at Motorola and probably purchase one again. Very happy with this purchase. Instant value, with dollars compared to features and quality.

My wife & Mother-in-law both use one of these. They upgraded from an older Motorola G5 & Sammy-S9. Both like the much larger screen, the battery life, and the pen input option. The phone isn't preloaded with a bunch of fluff apps, has plenty of storage, & can still use an SDcard. There are audio issues with Bluetooth on a 10+yr old non-android-auto car stereo (just using the still-included audio jack instead), however on the newer Android Auto equipped car it has worked great. Both like the much better front & rear camera. Once my dad's Motrola G6 gets too long in the tooth I will probably get him this phone (or the newer 5G version of it once it is out). Only real con is no wireless charging, but the included charger & most good chargers will charge the phone at "turbo/rapid" speed.

It is actually a very good phone. It has been reliable and worked great on everything that is needed even apps and gaming. Plus the stylus is cool especially if you can be creative with it and do digital art. The only reason for the four stars, is because of the camera quality. The phone itself looks awesome and so does the camera. However, the resolution may not be the best especially if you compare with the best of iphones and galaxy. I DO HAVE TO MENTION the camera itself is still good.

Bought this phone for my dad. Was surprised how wide the screen is. The color quality of the camera is very good too. Has a stylus which was a plus for me. I hope my dad enjoys his new phone.

I have some gripes; such as a very slippery shell and odd size - would have liked it a tad shorter and a tad wider - but being fait, this is a great deal for the cost. I find the stylus just useful enough that it was worth choosing this over the Power, but it's close - it's a capable stylus that I use to highlight in Kindle, enter in Sheets, do puzzles, jot notes, scroll. A finger does all this too; it's a matter of preference. I was impressed with the camera, the storage, and overall performance of calls, sound quality etc. for it's class. The fingerprint sensor on the power button is awesome and works consistently. The battery is just OK, but now I have a lot of features on so it can be tweaked some. I feel for the price this is a very nice phone. My carrier is Mint and I had no issues with calls, data, messages (I think this phone got some flack for what was really Carrier and/or Android issues)

Love this phone! Lots of storage. Good camera. Good video sound and appearance. Easy to set up and operate. Sleek design is a plus. Enjoy the stylus.

If you are on a budget, this phone can meet your needs. The display is clear. It takes very clear pictures. The processing speed is fast. It is lightweight and fits in a pocket well enough. The battery life so far has been good. The memory (128 GB) is plenty. It is disappointing that phones have so much bloatware and you have to spend a lot of time customizing the apps according to your preferences. Overall, I am pleased with this product and recommend it.

*It's a heavy phone and makes your finger tired if you using continuously holding in hand but I love it as I like a big phone with a nice and bright display. *The rear camera is okay - I was hoping better camera but the front selfy camera is good. *Battery life is good. *The stylus is easy to remove and use but put it back in place is complicated.

I bought this phone for my sister, but I did the research. For an inexpensive phone, it packs quite a lot of power! Good processor, battery, excellent memory, camera, and screen! Plus it is unlocked, so you can use it with multiple service providers. I'll never buy a locked phone ever again!

Great camera system for excellent photos. Different filters for selfie photos. It runs on Android 10. Lag is minimum. The stylus does not work well with a screen protector. I'm a fan of large phones. Great storage and decent battery life. Competitive features for the price, but it does not have wireless charging.

Best phone ever. Hands down. I love the memory, the ram, the camera... I keep buying Moto G Stylus. I've owned 3 of them, 2 versions. All excellent. High quality phones!

Great phone.. Decent price.. Storage.. Camera.. And hold charge

That 5 stars comes with an understanding that you have to know what limitations you're getting when you buy a phone in this price range. My wife has poor eyesight and for the past 2 years she's been using the largest phone you can get, an Oukitel K9. It's a Chinese company that has dozens of models, with this one being the huge one (7.12" diagonal). It's stuck on Android 9 (which is fine) but without security updates either. It's a bit on the slow side, sometimes unbearably so, but for the most part, she's been very happy with it (and you can't beat the price). Recently, the charging port broke and I looked around for another large phone. This Moto Stylus 2021 comes close (but not really!). It has a bit more oomph, runs Android 11 (and gets occasional security updates as well), and probably will see Android 12 before it dies. It runs a pretty vanilla version of Android (a big plus to me), charges quickly and holds the charge well. Neither my wife of I have any real complaints. Don't expect flagship specs or performance, and even the stylus (which she doesn't use) isn't going to match a high-end Samsung one, but this phone is well built and does the job rather nicely.

Very good overall. I did it a lot of comparison shopping before settling on my "moto g stylus (2021)" I'm still working on getting use to the differences from my old cell phone. To that my likes and dislikes are minor. I like the stylus. From my home screen, I like being able to swipe up and see all the apps I have available to me. This prevents cluttering my home screen with rarely used app icons. I like the size of the screen. Any larger would be too bulky. I do like that I can hold down certain letters and get an accent above them. But I miss having a keypad that also had symbols mixed in with the letters in a way that the numbers are. For example, when I hold down the 'e' I can have a '3' or 'é' printed. So why can't I hold down the 'm' and have a '?' printed? Finally, I don't care for Google coming up on it's own page when I first turn on the phone. I like as few pages as possible. And I have limited data, so I don't want Google bringing up anything. Overall I like my new Motorola phone. It was a good purchase for a person of 68 years.

It's the best Motorola phone I've had so far it's super fast and easy to use the pictures are flawless the signal is off the chart this phone is really good and the battery lasts longer than expected and also the best buy Crew transfer all the info and apps from my old phone so i didn't have to do anything just enjoy my new phone Thanks guys

More memory for my apps, larger screen, with the stylus for awesome notes. Superior high resolution camera(s) macro, panoramic, and front selfie for great group shots. Strong and stable Wi-Fi , Bluetooth, and 4g phone. Best of all worlds because I chose my carrier and plan. Only wish they included the Near Field.
