Hi KarimE, we're sorry to hear about the concern you're facing on your device especially the fingerprint sensor. Try resetting app preferences. This will reset all your notification settings and default apps, but you won't lose any data. Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > See all apps > Menu (3 dots on the top right) > Reset app preferences. As we constantly improve our software, some applications or features may change so that we can usher in a new wave of technology and offerings for our users. One of them is using Google Photos as our default Gallery app. Google Photos provides a smarter way to store photos and videos. You can always try downloading a 3rd party app from Play Store if you want.
